When I posted my first review I was in a dark place in my life. During that time Beaver County's court system and other authorities had me feeling that everyone was against me (in which some have shown me). Attorney Spratt has been nothing but honest and fair with me that I would recommend him. Please forgive me for the previous post.

I have used Mr Spratt for a divorce and custody twice... he does what he is supposed to do and very honest doesn’t sugarcoat anything.. I recommend him and he was very nice to me and my children and he was not at all lazy and he is willing to work with you and not many are

Great attorney helped me a ton reasonable on prices gets what you need done thank him for all he made possible for me and my little ones

He is an excellent Family Attorney. Fair pricing and very involved with his clients.

Mr spratt helped me on appeal he got me some time credit from the courts that a PCRA couldn't get.

Helps you understand what is most likely in your favor very positive and polite

Horrible lawyer, abandoned my girlfriend's custody case without notice. He lied to the court when he withdrew from the case. He will not communicate except by phone (when/if he answers) or by snail mail, and will not accept payment except by cash/check, he "has his reasons". Dismissive, arrogant and just generally an unpleasant person. He apparently also had my previous review removed... Well, I am back, because I hate this man.

I am looking to retain a lawyer for my case. I was referred to Mr.Spratt. I gave him a call once and I had to call back , because I needed to gather a little bit more information. Upon my second call I was able to speak with him , I was a little excited because usually the lawyers don't pick up I proceeded to go through the telephone conversation..and right before I was going to end the call I thought to ask when was the last time he worked on a case like mine. "Any skill that you don't use you will lose" I saw a review about Mr. Spratt and I did not believe it however in addition to him being "lazy" he is also extremely disrespectful. He shut me up before I could get any words out of my mouth and proceeded to say I will see you Tuesday however , that I won't be the case !

I won't be doing any sort of business with that location I'm new to the area and so I "know" the nicer parts.. however I have never heard of Bridgewater and he thought it was just so ludicrous; he took it a step further to ask me about my country of origin.

I advice you to do nothing with him! Just because you're getting legal assistance , doesn't mean you have to settle for him please keep looking do not stop here!

VERY dismissive, no support for my family against her abuser and her fight to protect her children. Wont answer calls or emails. Tells her constantly "ignore it" as her abuser breaks laws after laws. Sadest part she gained his support threw LEGAL AID PA.
DO NOT HIRE THIS REPRESENTATIVE

Based on Spratt's work in the DA's office, I can only conclude he's either corrupt or lazy. I'd love to ask him, but sadly he hasn't returned my calls.

TERRIBLE LAWYER. LAZY YES, RUDE YES. I RECD. A FEW NAMES OF ATTORNEY'S TO REPRESENT MYSELF AND MY MOM. i GOT A CALL IMMED. FROM SPRATT SAYING HE COULD EASILY REPRESENT ME. I SET UP A APPT. AND PAID 25.00 THE CONSULT FEE SET BY THE BR ASSOC. VERY SLOPPY, VERY LAZY YOU COULD TELL, BUT I KNEW FROM MY OHIO ATTORNEY IT IS JUST MOTION GIVEN TO A JUDGE. A VERY EASY DELIVERY. SPRATT SENT HIS PAPERWORK FOR 1500.00 TO WORK OFF OF THAT. NEVER DID ANYTHING, BUT WRITE A LETTER OR 2 TO MY LAWYER ONE AND I ONE. MY OHIO LAWYER CONTACTED A FEW TIMES TO ASK WHY NO COURT DATES SET IN PA.OVER 3 AND WE HAD COURT DATES, READY TO GO TO COURT, BUT AGAIN AND GAIN HAD TO RESCHEDULE DUE TO NO WORK ONE IN PA.WE HAD SO MANY RESCH. YOU CANNOT RESCH AGAIN. MY OHIO LAWYER WANTED TO FIRE ,BUT AGAIN GOT SNOWED BY SPRATT. HE HAD MY MONEY. HE NEVER DID ANYTHING, BUT HOLD MY MONEY, OR SPENT IT ON HIMSELF. AT THE END WE RECD. NOTICE THAT THE PERSON WE NEEDED A WAIVER SIGNED, EVEN THOUGH AT ON POINT HER AND HER HUSBAND A LAWYER WERE GOING TO WRITE WAIVER AND SUBMIT. A STALL. NO COURT DATES AT ALL.IN PENNA. FROM FEB. TO LATE JULY NOT ONE DROP OF WORK.FROM THE SPRATT ----WHEN ALL OHIO COURT DATES WERE USED UP wE RECD NOTICE THAT THE GUARDIAN NOW REFUSED TO SIGN OVER MY MOM TO MY LAWYER IN OHIO WHO HAS 6 PEOPLE HE IS A GUARDIAN TO IN OHIO. MY MOM HAS LIVED IN OHIO OVER A YEAR NOW. I WANTED MOM WITH HER ILLINSS NEAR ME, AS HER ONLY CHILD. I AND MY OHIO LAWYER RECD. A LETTER FROM PENNA LAWYER STATING THAT WE DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE LETTER STATING THE GUARDIAN (HER OWN LETTER) WOULD NOT BE SIGNING WAIVER. SPRATT PA LAWYER SAID WE DID NOT READ RIGHT. MYSELF AND MY LAWYER SENT A COPY OF THE GUARDIANS LETTER TO PENNA. LAWYER.. WE HEARD NOTHING. WE REQUESTED MONEYS LEFT TO BE SENT BACK TO ME.THIS GUY DID NOTHING REALLY. WASTED TIME!!!MY OHIO LAWYER ASKED FOR SPRATT TO RETURN FUNDS TO ME. I ASKED BY PHONE AND LETTER ASKED FOR FUNDS TO BE RETURNED.I NOTIFIED THE BEAVER CO. BR ASSOC. ON BOTH THE GUARDIAN AND THE HORRIBLE LAWYER. THE LAWYER THE BAR ASSOC. RECOMMENDED THIS TERRIBLE HORRIBLE SLOPPY LAZY DO NOTHING LAWYER HE DOES NOT EVEN ANSWER HIS PHONE CALLS. I HAVE SENT ANOTHER LETTER THIS WEEK SEPT.9TH AND MADE UNANSWERED CALL TODAY SEPT. 11TH.I WILL CALL THE BAR ASOC. AGAIN AND IF NOTHING WORKS TIME TO GO ON JUDGE JUDY. SPRATT HAS SSID ION WRITING HE IL PAY ME BACK BUT ZERO YET FOR NOTHING THAT THIS GUY DOES, OR DID. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF. GO FIND ANOTHER WHO WILL ANSWER THE PHONE, RETURN CALLS AND DO THE WORK YOU HIRED HIM FOR. VERY ELEMENTARY WORK I HIRED HIM FOR AND ZERO.POOR DUMB LAWYER, MAYBE TOO MUCH ?????
