Excellent excellent!!!! Some of the best food I’ve had in a long time . Ordered the special of Shrimp n Catfish étouffée was delicious. Also ordered the chicken sandwich which was amazing of course it came with hand cut fries!!!

First time here. Food came out fast and tasted amazing. Waitress was super friendly. Definitely will come back when I visit again 10/10.

Steve & Benny’s Chicken Shack catered for two days at Living Water Family Church in Monaca! First time tasting their food and believe me won’t be the last time either. The Chicken was so tasty and tender. Everythang they brought here was absolutely delicious! Thank yinz’rs for making this weekend special.

Ever since they have brought food up to the church I’ve been going to Steve and Benny’s Chicken Shack…and today I gotta the Crayfish and the Bluefish special that I’ve been especially wanting to try the crayfish. Absolutely delicious both meals! I personally recommend you coming here before they sellout! Every so often they put this on the menu as a speciality! Trust me if you like’a Lobster 🦞 you will like’a Crayfish! Amen

Steve and Bennys has done countless events I have participated in. When I was getting chemo at West Penn, they catered lunch for the entire floor and everyone raved about it. They have done two golf outings for me as well and I’m still getting texts for their information because it was outstanding. They opened a South Hills location so I had to try it also (love to Recon for awesome beer always!). These guys are regulars on the scene and for good reason. Without a doubt they’re my first call and my first choice for a referral. They will customize the menu and options to your event, Chef Ben is a true hidden gem. Keep your eyes peeled for their next project, Monaca Brewing Company! I’m so excited to frequent to enjoy delicious food and locally brewed beer!

Steve and Benny's brought their food truck to CCAC for our Orientation day and our All College Day. They are extremely friendly, professional and efficient. The food is delicious and hot. I highly recommend them and appreciate them feeding all of us. :)

We used Steve and Bennys food truck for a private event. I had been communicating with Steve regarding the time, price and logistics for months in advance. We had the BEST experience. Benny is so personable and he made sure that every conversation with our guests was kind and valued. The food was delicious, the truck showed up on time. Our friends and family were thrilled. Can’t thank you enough!

Steve and Benny's Chicken Shack was superior on all levels! The communication and ease of planning with Steve before the party was great! And then Benny on the day of the party was the ultimate professional as well as just being such a nice guy. My daughter was so happy with her grad party food and I am still getting texts from all the guests who said it was the "best food they ever had"! Highest rating! Thank you for a great party!

So it was my first time going to this establishment and I liked the energy from the owner. I like supporting local places as opposed to big chains. I must say never having Grits before, the ones made here with shrimp are delicious and I'm not a fan of Mac and cheese but theirs is top shelf. The chicken sandwiches are THICKER than chic-a-fil, like 2.5-3 times thicker with your choice of 5-6 sauces.

I don't know who the guy that waits on tables and cooks the food there is but he did such a wonderful job. The food was outstanding I never had anything as good as this. I have recommended it to everyone I know great food at great prices

Decided to try Steve and Bennys tonight and they did not disappoint! They are geniuses in the kitchen! So much flavor in everything. They allowed us to try all of their sauces and I can’t pick a favorite. Their rice krispy treats are super unique. I originally looked at the menu and thought “Rice Crispy treat??” But they ended up being a very pleasant treat as they aren’t just your average rice crispy treat. Definitely going back!

We had the food truck at our job today they were really friendly guys on the truck. I got the nuggets they are Soo yummy with creamy mac and cheese. Their golden BBQ sauce is delicious!! Definitely would stop down to the main street location.

They make a great chicken sandwich. Its like somebodys Gram is back there cooking. That Nashville hot is hot for real. Great place though. Lots of specials too so you'll have to check their menu out

A bit of who dat nation here in the Burgh. Had the Red beans & rice, Jambalaya, super shrimp, felt like I was in my happy place in the garden district. Please tell chef Benny to put beignets on the menu too!

Best fried chicken in the burgh!! The chicken sandwich is delicious breast with the perfect amount of breading and is huge. Their sauce options are great. Pro tip: put Nashville Hot on the Mac and cheese!!

Ordered a chicken sandwich and mac n cheese both were awesome. Didn't know they were on the main Avenue of monaca but it's definitely worth the stop if in the area. Also was told that more locations will be open soon

Fresh hot beignets in the morning? YES PLEASE! Have also heard great things about the shrimp & grits...can't wait to try myself! Go check them out!

Chicken sandwich was awesome. Owners were exceptionally nice. Our waiter Tyler was wonderful and very accommodating. Nice place please try it!
