Wonder first experience skiing! The rental place is like a well oiled machine. It was quick and friendly service. We had lessons and the instructors were very knowledgeable and helpful. My daughter was able to go from Red to about the end of yellow. She was also skiing in the terrain area. We stayed at Jackson Gore condos and the amenities were excellent with gym, hot tubs, in and outdoor pools and more. The cafeteria was crowded during lunch (hard to find a seat) and the food was ok. I would suggest to go early, beat the crowds, eat and early lunch and while everyone is eating lunch you can ski. At the waffle cabin we had delicious warm cider and a chocolate and plain waffles. They were warm and made fresh. We had a wonderful weekend. Will definitely come back.

Stayed at Jackson Gore and really could not have been happier!! Great room with a nice kitchen met all our needs. We took the elevator down, picked up our skis at the Ski Check. Could not have been more convenient!! Not to mention the underground parking that made it so easy to get in and out.
We had our dinner seated at the lobby bar and the mushroom risotto was perfect, as well as the Old Fashioned.
And the final kicker - outdoor hot tubs were bangin after a day of shredding the hill.

When we planned the trip we hadn’t looked at the weather and then yesterday we looked before heading up and it showed rain for today. Was not excited about that but we got super lucky and the rain held out till we were done for the day. Had a great day on the slopes with my daughter!

Great family experience. Our 7 year old loved the full day ski school. Her instructor Molly was excellent. We couldn’t have asked for a better 2 days of instruction.

Staff was excellent. I want to especially recognize Colleen in guest services who led a successful search to find my lost wallet. She kept searching and kept me informed throughout. Great experience on the slopes and off. Definitely coming back!

Women's Alpine Adventure is a fantastic event! 💗 I had the pleasure of working with Sue G. and she is a phenomenal instructor. 5⭐ She is great at helping you adjust your form and coaching you through your rough spots. If you're newish to skiing, she is fantastic at explaining the different techniques and helping you put it all together on the mountain. If you've got questions, she's got the right answers. She showed me really cool things happening on Okemo and shared stories about all the fun times with past groups. Hanging out with Sue was like going to ski college!
*It's important to note that this women's program is NOT tailored to beginners.* Although if you booked a lesson with Sue G. anytime during the season, you would be doing yourself a huge favor.💯%
With the WAA 3 day program (2024), you get lunch vouchers and you get to check your skis on the mountain for the night. There's a reception the first evening with some yummy snacks and a bar (you buy your own drinks). It was great to connect with ladies who have a passion for skiing/boarding.⛷🏂💪
There's also a place called the Springhouse(on the mountain) where you can pay for a Day Pass ($20) and use the hot tub/pool/gym there. There's yoga mats and room to stretch. It was a blissful way to end the day.🥰

Had terrific mid-week powder days with nearly all runs open. The ski-in, ski-out condo I stayed in was generously laid out with great parking and storage amenities. There were no ticket or lift lines to speak of.

We have been coming for 3 years. This year we did 3 weekends with our kids. On all our trips the staff went above and beyond. Our kids love the lessons and have learned so much - both have improved in every session. The lodging is top notch. If we needed anything, staff always did their best to make things happen. The food, especially at Jackson Gore, is very good. This past weekend my youngest ran a fever on our last day of skiing and everyone made sure we had what we needed, showed compassion, and made our stay the best it could be. We’ve thought about trying other mountains but the care we receive here has won us over.

Found this last minute after our other hotel fell through. Came up for the Spartan Vermont weekend at Killington and this was a short 15-20m ride over there. Room was spacious and loved the loft option. Comfortable beds and sofa pullout with plenty of room for 3 guys. Definitely coming back with the family to explore their adventure park behind the resort!

The trails are very fun to ski or snowboard on, and the scenery in some places is beautiful! Just make sure you arrive early, because parking spots fill up quickly

Great ski resort with tons of blue trails, glades, and high-speed lifts. Get there early if you want good parking. Highly recommend.

Kicked off 23/24 season at Okemo and it has been a great start! Great top-to-bottom run options given it’s still early season, friendly staff, and goos service! Shot out to ski patrol Ryan, he is awesome!! Highly recommended this place for all skiers and snowboarders :)

2nd year skiing here Christmas week. On Epic this is the best option when natural snow is good, but Mount Snow has better snowmaking otherwise. Stowe might be an option but they're blacked out on Epic Local. I ski with buddies, not family, and the accommodations are 7-10x my budget on a per head basis. Since I'm leaving, I don't even look at dining.

I started skiing last year and have fallen in love with Okemo! This time in particular was amazing. My sister tagged along this time (she snow boards, I ski) and we were both having boot troubles. Dave and Rebecca from the gift shop were not only patient but extremely knowledgeable and personable with us. I ended up purchasing a pair of snowboard boots from them (for my sister) considering the last shop we bought them from sold her a size too small. They took their time, and made us feel so valued and welcomed! Unbelievable service.

My go to mountain close to home, always friendly staff, great groomed trails, and diverse terrain with plenty to explore. And they don't charge for parking which is a big plus. I'd rather spend that money on food and beer.

Very nice ski resorts with a good selection of trails…a lot of beginners though…

During a recent weekend stay at Okemo, my family and I took a lunch break at the lodge and sat with one of the Okemo employees who went by the name, Tink. It was such perfect timing because I was in desperate need for a private lesson in order to keep up with my husband and two young children on the slopes. He said he can adjust his schedule to be available the next day and even had one of his associates set up the lesson immediately. The next day I spent three productive hours with Tink learning the basics, safety, techniques, etc. Before meeting Tink, I would go down the green trail but would fall at least 100 times before reaching the bottom. I did not know how to slow down or stop - so my only form of stopping was to fall and fall hard. Tink showed me how to properly stand, how to control my speed, how to turn smoothly, how to stop, and most importantly how to feel confident when skiing. Tink is such a friendly, professional, funny, personable, and knowledgeable instructor. I would HIGHLY recommend him if you need an instructor. Private lessons are the way to go - totally worth it. I can successfully ski without falling - although I will definitely need a future lesson to attempt the harder trails and Tink will be my first choice. Thank you Tink for a great experience that has now allowed me to ski with my family without getting hurt!

It's the best bang for your buck if you are trying to keep it close to Connecticut while still having a very large mountain to ski at.
