The Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm

We had our wedding at the Quechee Inn and loved it. It was great having the whole Inn available for just your own guests for the weekend. We loved being able to host the welcome party on Friday night there. They also have the option to host rehearsal dinner. It's such a picturesque, quintessential old New England Inn. The tavern and the rooms are charming and cozy, with beautiful old wooden beams and fireplaces. The outdoor location is also gorgeous, with lots of opportunities for beautiful pictures. The food is delicious - everyone let us know they were really impressed, from breakfast, to dinner at the Inn, to the actual wedding food. They also do a great job of breaking down the costs of the wedding ahead of time so there aren't any major surprises - we really appreciated this after seeing other venues that weren't as upfront. Everything went very smoothly for the wedding, so we were able to relax and enjoy the day. We had a great experience and highly recommend.

This was the perfect place for a fall getaway. The rooms were spacious and clean but the real highlight was the atmosphere. The cozy lobby had an open fire and the bar made very tasty drinks. It truly felt like a Hallmark movie. I would definitely stay here again- I cannot imagine how incredibly cozy and quaint it will be once it snows!

A very quaint and homey hotel. Nothing too fancy. They have a lounge area and a restaurant in the property and the food is delicious. The workers are all nice and service is impeccable. We enjoyed our stay. Will definitely come back again.

Beautiful, quintessential Vermont country inn! Loved relaxing in the evening by the fire in the Great Room. Delicious breakfast. Walked across the street to explore Quechee Gorge State Park. Look forward to returning.

We loved our one night stay here. The lobby area is quaint with the room being more basic. Breakfast was fantastic. Servers at Breakfast were so very sweet. My 5 year old son wanted to eat near the fire so they made a table set up for us right next to it. Property is beautiful and very peaceful

We had a wonderful stay here right before the busy season started. The service was amazing. The staff was very friendly + attentive. The food was good, breakfast offered a variety of choices and there was warm cookies + coffee/tea upon arrival. Our room was small but fit our family of three just fine. It was only a 15 minute drive to town. The history of the Inn is very interesting. I highly recommend this B&B!

Best place Ever!! Wonderful staff...beautiful atmosphere and convenient to all. Also, the food is the best we ever had! Ate there every night! We came back "home for dinner."

My husband and I stayed here for one night. We had a lovely time!

We did the "deal" where our stay included a hot breakfast as well as a three course meal. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The bar area and the restaurant was also cozy, quaint, and lovely. The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful. We also loved the area and had a great time stopping by Whistle Pig and Simon Pearce (just down the road) and Long Trail Brewing (a bit further down the road, but still accessible). Overall, our stay was short, but we had a lovely time. If our travels take us this way again, we would love to stay again and stop by the restaurant!

Our second yearly outing here with Vermont friends. Excellent dinner and comfortable accommodations.

We recently stayed 4 nights here. This inn is so cute and homey! Every person was kind and attentive to traveler’s needs. The young man at the front desk(Devin?) in the afternoon always was able to answer our questions. Our room was always taken care of and left spotless.
The country breakfast was great. Vicky was so helpful and nice to everyone. She ran that dining room every morning like it was her own home!
We had dinner on Wednesday night and it was delicious! The young lady who runs the bar(I am sorry, I don’t remember her name!) makes great cocktails! We enjoyed chatting with her!
We will definitely be staying again!

Nice upscale dining in a quaint inn environment. We've gone for office holiday parties and as a family, always wonderful.

My wife and I came here for my birthday. It is a beautiful old Inn with tons of charm & character. The bar area makes the Inn shine. There is an awesome fireplace and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The food is outstanding and the staff incredibly friendly. We will definitely go back.

We have now stayed at Quechee several times, and held our wedding there on July 3, 2022. The Inn really is a cut above. The staff is unbelievably warm, accommodating, and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are sweetly detailed and unique, and the land is simply stunning. What more could you ask for?

I recently stayed at the Quechee Inn for a wedding and it was fantastic! It is a 1793 hotel so if you are looking for a modern style hotel this is not the place for you. If you like history, old world charm, antique style furniture and a clean shower you will adore this place. We stayed all weekend and every meal was delicious and the staff was so friendly and on top of things! The wedding was perfectly orchestrated with not one glitch in the schedule. If you are looking for a mellow weekend in beautiful Vermont, you won't be disappointed!

Stay here! Fantastic experience! Every interaction was pleasant, including calling with questions, booking, checking in, dining, and any other interactions with the staff. Breakfast buffet was delicious every morning — fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, breads, etc. We had two dinners at the inn — the food was beautifully presented and expertly prepared. The drink menu was great, and the friendly, professional bartender made wonderful drinks. The room was comfortable and clean, with daily housekeeping service. The inn was near other local attractions, which made for easy coming and going. Front desk staff were happy to answer a variety of questions, including a request for a mini fridge in our room. We would definitely stay at this inn again, and highly recommend it to anyone visiting for any length of time.

Truly the quintessential Vermont inn. Cozy bar near a roaring fire. Incredible menu at their restaurant for dinner. Super hearty breakfast included, and a staff that is super friendly, helpful and makes your stay s pleasure.

My daughter’s wedding was here last weekend and I can only echo the glowing reviews from other weddings. Everyone remarked about how much fun and how idyllic everything was. One guest said they felt they were part of a movie about a perfect Vermont wedding. Rick and the rest of the staff were wonderful and the food and accommodations were outstanding. Staying at the Inn for the weekend really allowed us to spend time with everyone and the rehearsal dinner and wine and cheese reception on Friday night were a blast.

Been coming here for 23 years annually...love this place ...once you experience it you'll be back... old world charm and hospitality at its finest with the best food you'll get this side of queeche gorge...and yes it's walkable from the INN. October / November is a great time to come relax, have a spectacular dinner and enjoy the wood fired fireplace just outside of the bar in the common room...

Cant say enough good things about Quechee Inn and all the staff. We had our wedding here and it couldnt have been anymore perfect. Everything was spot on from the food at every meal, to the service, and the location. Many of our guests said our wedding was the best they have ever been to, and I truly think that’s due to the staff and venue. The rooms were clean and adorable. the rooms are the perfect mix of modern and vintage Vermont. For such an old building, it was incredibly quiet for having so many people in one place. I was worried about younger guests at the wedding and live music keeping up our elderly grandparents, but they couldnt even hear anything with how well the building is set up. hands down the best thing about this place was the staff. They treated all our wedding guests way beyond expectation and made everyone feel at home. Special thanks to Britny, Mona, Paige, Tails, & the house keeping who were all absolutely exceptional. The chef was also so sweet and took the time to come introduce himself and ask if we needed anything. He also accommodated special dietary restrictions for our vegan guests, Which was fantastic and was told was delicious. Definitely recommend having your wedding here or staying here.
