Tyson Store

I've been shopping here for 30+ years. It's a true "convenience" store if you're local to the area and don't want to drive another fifteen minutes into town. New owners took charge 3-5 years ago and brought new life to the business. You can find milk, eggs, bread, beer, snacks, ice cream, etc. I also purchase our fishing licences here every spring.

We came up from NYC and stayed directly across the street. The owner, Tom, was the kindest gentlemen ever. He shared great stories and has a wonderful wall of fame showing all the wild animals you can see in the back part of the houses and in VT. The General Store has lots of merchandise from tooth paste to snacks to beer and soft drinks. It's a great place for morning coffee and fresh baked muffins.

This place is exactly out of a 90's film. Small nice family owned store. Do not expect Walmart prices. I paid $9.50 for a pound of bacon. It was good! But oooouie they saw me coming

Sometimes things happen that restore your faith in the goodness in people and should be recognized. I am a very good friend of the previous owner of Tyson store. When I heard that the new owners had put up their own sign for the store, I called and asked them if they still had my friend's sign. They did and I asked then if they would be willing to give the sign back, as it has tremendous sentimental value to him. They gladly obliged and I am sure it will be a nice gift that he will treasure and will be a wonderful memory. It has been a very trying year. Thank you Jeff and Tina for your kindness. Great soft serve ice cream. Kayak rentals available! Also pretty stocked with any miscellaneous supplies you forgot to bring to the cottage.

Great local country store, if you’re in the area visiting the lakes you can stop in for lunch. They even offer kayak rentals!

Cute store that's clean and organized. Everything you need to get you through the weekend and longer if need be. Convenient location for us - and the people there are always friendly and helpful. ☺

Got the tyson club in a spinach wrap here and it was delicious. Fresh, tasty ingredients. Nice people too!
