Ferndale Inn

So happy with the Ferndale Inn! Cocktails, clams casino, wine, pasta, crab cakes, dessert and another cocktail… it was all delicious and I can’t wait to go back soon.

Dinner service was spectacular. Food was delicious and it's just a gorgeous old inn. It was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Had dinner on the Tavern side, next time in the dining room. My salmon was cooked perfectly served with the extra sauce I asked for. Idk if it was because we went with a long time patrons, but I'll be back. Prices were reasonable, portions ample, no up charge for bread if you'd like it. Desserts were amazing! Oh ya, order the au'gratin potatoes, they are the best!

The Ferndale Inn is an absolute favorite. We love the food and the cozy atmosphere, especially the bar area. My daughter, her fiancé and I go to The Ferndale Inn to celebrate many special occasions. The food is fabulous and the service is consistently top-notch. We love it!

Best secret spot in Bucks County! We’re frequent diners at The Ferndale Inn and it’s easy to see why-: great bar area- cozy and historic. (BEST Cosmos outside of NYC!) the menu is varied and provides a rich selection of great meals. You can even make a great meal with apps alone. A salad and two apps? Perfect. And the service is ALWAYS outstanding. Thanks for being a consistent favorite!

Just excellent! Mid week dinner for my birthday. My wife’s shrimp scampi was delicious and my pork chops were very good too. Well portioned we couldn’t finish it all and had to take the leftovers home. Service was excellent.

First time to eat there, eventhough I have known about the Inn since 1958. Everything was excellent from the service to the food!!

Hidden gem. Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. My filet mignon was cooked perfectly. Melt in your mouth delicious. Will definitely be back.

Was just there 9/23. I'm due for an updated review. It was spectacular, as I expected it would be. It just keeps getting better and better. Service, both from the kitchen and the bar was outstanding. I had a filet with peppercorn sauce. It tasted so good on my tongue it was a shame not to savor it the entire evening. Frankly, I'm a little perturbed at the losers who can't give Karen (the owner) a rating of 5 of 5. They must be the jerks from NY who think NY is the cultural center of the universe. Pay no attention to any rating less than a 5. Go with confidence that you will be blown away by the experience.

Excellent food (all three of us loved our dinners). Great portions. Great service. Friendly, accommodating. Lovely, historical atmosphere.

This is our families tradition, to dine at the Ferndale when we are in town. You will feast on the best meal and given the best service!! Can't say enough about the chef and her many years of experience. This is a bright spot in Bucks County.

I loved this place. Warm cozy atmosphere, good service, outstanding food. Some might think it pricey but I do not. The portions were large and so good. I live nearby and have been to most places in the area. This is my new favorite. I recommend sitting in the bar area if possible.

Relaxing dining experience. First time at the Ferndale Inn and enjoy everything about the place.

Super cozy spot.. Went here for a candlelit birthday dinner. The food is top-notch and they have a great selection. Would always recommend the peanut butter mousse for dessert. The Christmas décor is a beautiful touch!

Our meal tonight was an extremely memorable experience. We were greeted with the most friendly hostess that helped recommend some amazing drinks. Our server,Kelly,was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable about the menu. Food 😍😍Our table had, escargot and clams casino as appetizers, french onion and cauliflower soups, then Filets, Ny Steak, and Swordfish as entrees. Each course was cooked to absolute perfection!!! Definitely will be back!

I have been here several times & it never disappoints. I just ordered a takeout scallop dinner, escargot appetizer, French onion soup & dessert & everything was absolutely delicious!! Wonderful food!

Cozy, welcoming, relaxing, classy, attentive, the food speaks for itself. Delicious, variety for all.....we come from special occasions.....or to meet friends for a time out from busy life. We spent 3 hrs. with friends, having appetizers, dinner and dessert. Food is reasonably priced, all in cluded in the price is soup or salad, delicious bread served ASAP with varieties of choices.

One of my favorite restaurants! Incredible food, friendly people and great service in a charming, historic ambience. Not a cheap date, but you shouldn't expect it to be with this level of quality ingredients impeccably prepared by a CIA-trained chef. I'm always proud to bring my out-of-town family, friends and colleagues or clients here, because I can be certain of an excellent dining experience at the Ferndale. I even had one client who would find reasons to come visit just so she could eat there again!
