The Potager at 17 Bridge

One of the best cafes in the Delaware Valley. All that and a flower shop and garden, too. Fantastic menu (cast iron cornbread, pulled pork sandwich, banh mi sandwich, pate sandwich, hummus platter, superb salads and more). Terrific sweet or savory baked goods (cheddar cheese scallion scone, sausage roll, apple cinnamon scone, almond orange cake and more). Nice and cute seating out front or in the lovely rear garden under umbrella’d tables. Store inside the cafe has a wonderfully curated selection of superior cheeses, gravlax, eggs, fruit, house made iced teas, snacks, salads, and soup. Along with house made blood orange marmalade, and even tchotchkes.

John and Kristin have great taste and an even better palate. Kristin has a black belt in floral arrangement, one of the best eyes I’ve seen for balance and beauty. This place should not be missed if you’re in Milford. This place should not be missed if you’re in Frenchtown. This place should be your destination to grab a picnic if you’re exploring the D&L Trail or boating on the Delaware. Highest recommendation.

Incredible find! Delicious pour over coffee, lavender lemon limeade, clotted rhubarb cake, smoked salmon sandwich and so much more. A very special call out for the pulled pork sandwich, incredible!!!

A culinary garden has arrived in Milford! To say John, and Kristin at The Potager are on their game would be an understatement. Always a story, and a smile. I am a self proclaimed foodie, and their menu is absolutely amazing! I presently am working my way through it, and everything is always delicious! The store has so many offerings as well, and the website offers you an easy ordering option that a lot of local restaurants, and take out places really don’t offer in the area. It makes a busy single moms life a whole lot easier. I can’t wait for my next order, and for the spring at The Potager. I was lucky enough to enjoy lunch with a friend in the beautiful outdoor garden that was thoughtfully designed by Kristin. It has an Old English Garden feel, and it’s a very relaxing spot to enjoy your heavenly meal. This is a very special place. Stop by, and you’ll understand why.

The Potager at 17 Bridge in Milford, NJ is a must. The owners are delightful and very accommodating. Whether you stay and dine or take out, you won't be disappointed. The soups, sandwiches, prepared foods and baked goods are delectable and are very creative. Definitely get some apple cinnamon scones and some cheese scones with bacon jelly!

Visiting The Potager at 17 Bridge was the absolute highlight of our weekend trip. Kristin made us feel so welcomed and at home, like we were immediately part of the community. We loved the scones so much, that we came back for more on the same day! When we called to order, they were closing, but they stayed open and packed us a beautiful bag to go. If you make one stop on your trip, it should be here!

We frequent The Potager, John and Kristin are amazing curators of delicious treats! The cheese selection is superb. John's pate sandwich is dreamy. Kristin makes up the most beautiful floral arrangements. They are always smiling and happy to see you! The Potager has changed the shape of my weekends. Love!

A coworker recommended this place. Absolutely fantastic, their pulled pork is phenomenal. They serve relatively quickly and they include quality napkins if you get take out. Will come again.

This is a wonderful spot to grab a delicious meal! The chef uses local ingredients when possible and offers creative choices, as well as simple comfort foods. It's fabulous and a must when in Milford!!

This place is great. Got some grab and go sandwiches and croissants and it was all excellent. Even the coffee was a delicious pour over. Will be returning soon.
