The food and cocktails blew my mind. Truly amazing. Had the braised pork shoulder, super tender and great rich taste with chimichurri, potatoes and broccoli. The potato smashers were also great, crunchy with lots of garlic and rosemary and the apple cinnamon cheesecake was fresh and delicious. I didn’t stay here so can’t speak on the lodging… but the dining experience is 5 star worthy in any city. Oh and both of their spins on an old fashioned were top notch. I came in randomly with no expectations and left very pleasantly surprised.

MAKE RESERVATIONS.
This place was fantastic but packed on a Saturday night (as all good places are) We did not have a reservation but were told they have walk in hour from 4-5pm, we got there at 4:30 and there was already an hour wait. Fortunately Erin the host was so friendly and accommodating she got us drinks while we waited off to the side and then got us in on a canceled reservation in one of the private rooms. So nice. The food was amazing, we spent about $200 on 4 drinks an app and two entrees but so worth it. Cocktails were also great too with some really unique options.

Comfortable, farmhouse ambiance with creative cocktails, and well-crafted, family style dishes. We tried 2 sides and 3 main dishes for our family of 4 (incl. two kids under 12). It was too much, but we wouldn't have done it differently. We're a foodie family and absolutely loved everything we ate. Well balanced, creative flavors, that were just yummy. Absolutely, the best meal of our week.

Popular restaurant with great flavors, good portion, and location. Home made cheese is delicious, the dishes - beet salad, cauliflower, shrimp pasta are all delicious. Keep in mind to make reservation in advance if you can. Nice people who has kept my bag overnight, I forgot the bag on the chair when I had dinner but only realize at the following morning….

Alright, this place punched WAY above its weight. Expectations were limited coming in given Ludlow is a small ski town in the middle of nowhere. This place was better than at least 80% of the "fancy" places I've ate. First, the main food. These were some of the freshest ingredients I've had. Dishes didn't try to do too much, just sold themselves. The tagliatelle was so good, the sauce wasn't too rich or heavy, really nicely balanced dish. Second, the drinks. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were hilarious - really fun company. The drinks they served up were creative, unique, well-balanced and super fun. I could have drank the whole menu left to my own devices. Third, the dessert. Gd, that cheesecake was SO GOOD. I mean SO GOOD!!!! And the homemade ice cream was *chefs kiss*. I thought it was odd that this place has multiple dollar signs on various platforms, it was cheaper than our lunch at the local tavern at Okemo mtn. The service was phenomenal, people were really nice. Atmosphere was super cozy and fun. Loved it, great experience, will def be back next time in Okemo.

Had dinner with the family at Homestyle hotel in Ludlow, VT, after a day at Okemo. We started with Cold Fashioneds, a cool twist on the Old Fashioned, really nutty and good. The Arugula Salad was super fresh – a great start. For the main course, we shared the Beef Bourguignon and half a roasted chicken. The beef was amazing, really tasty. The chicken was also great, well-cooked and flavorful. Desserts were red velvet cake and Earl Grey ice cream. Both were awesome and a nice finish to our meal.

The place has a cozy home-style vibe, really comfortable and laid-back, great for families sharing plates. Definitely recommend it if you’re in the area. Great food and a nice atmosphere.

Great meal - walked in around 4pm after a day of skiing. Food was excellent and drinks were tasty.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Our stay at Homestyle Hotel was such a wonderful surprise. Rooms were super clean, food in the restaurant was delicious, and sitting at the bar with the bartender/owner chatting about everything under the sun makes me want to come back again. They put stuff out for breakfast, but youre own your own to make it, which was fine for me.

This is my first review and I had to write one because it was one of the best meals of my life. My partner and I sat at the bar and the staff was so friendly, talkative and informative. The drinks were all amazing, we had four different drinks, and the FOOD- there are no words. We are planning a trip back to the area JUST so we can go back and eat at the restaurant. Worth every single penny. Do yourself a favor and eat at Homestyle.

Topline - go here, especially if you like good drinks; the cocktails are top-tier even relative to a city, and the wine list is impressively curated.

Cocktails - Excellent. Very well integrated flavors, creative ingredients, well presented. If something on their drink menu sounds weird, trust them.
Food - Very good for ski country. Very well made. More exciting than what you'd normally get, but not at the same tier as the drinks which again are the hero here.
Service - Friendly and attentive, but I think the kitchen is a little overwhelmed. They do tell you the style is "things will come as they are ready," but it took about 30 minutes between the two entrees. They were really tasty, but that's kind of long. We came at a peak time so not entirely surprising, and the wait staff kept coming by for drink orders etc. so it wasn't a case of abandonment - they were just obviously very busy and stuff took a while.
Atmosphere - Clearly a restaurant for adults but bright and pleasantly boisterous (not obnoxious, just people having a good time). They were totally willing to accommodate us bringing a baby (made sure she had an extra chair, got us a table in the corner). I wouldn't bring a noisy or uncontrolled gaggle of kids here, it's not precisely a "family restaurant", but one or two reasonably quiet children won't stand out from the crowd of happily noisy adults.

We had a table for six in one of the private dining rooms. Food and service were exceptional.

The food was terrific and the atmosphere lively and festive. Service was great as well.

We were absolutely amazed from the moment we stepped foot in this establishment. Upon arrival, we were escorted to our exclusive upstairs room where our culinary adventure began. The mussels surpassed all expectations, leaving us with a lingering satisfaction rarely experienced. While the focaccia bread was slightly moist, it still managed to delight our taste buds with its remarkable flavor. The calamari was expertly cooked, coated in a pristine batter and prepared to perfection.

The only minor setback was the sauce accompanying the calamari, which had a distinct peanut buttery taste. Personally, we would have preferred a marinara sauce to complement the dish. However, this small disappointment was quickly overshadowed by the delightful flavors of the rolled fettuccine, a dish meant to be savored by two. It was so delectable that we devoured it with great enthusiasm.

The sirloin steak was cooked precisely as requested, and the swordfish surprised us pleasantly. Considering we had recently returned from Croatia, we were prepared to be unimpressed by the swordfish. Yet, it proved to be an exceptional delight, prepared to perfection and boasting simple yet remarkable flavors.

Admittedly, the exterior of the property initially raised some doubts in our minds. We pondered whether it was worth taking a chance. Thankfully, the positive reviews we had read prior to making our reservation swayed us, and we are incredibly grateful for that. The quality, service, and variety of choices at this establishment left us utterly astounded. Every single dish we tried was an exquisite culinary experience.

If you're seeking an unforgettable dining experience, this place is an absolute must-try. Prepare to be amazed by the outstanding quality, impeccable service, and delectable menu choices.

One of the best restaurants in Vermont. The ambiance, staff, food, and cocktails are all sensational. The staff truly takes great pride in their work. If you have the chance, sit at the bar for dinner. The bartenders are some of the best around, friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they create and take great pride in sharing their craft and services with others. We forgot our leftovers at the bar and the bartender ran them out to us while we were in the car. Ludlow is lucky to have this gem. Cannot wait to return!

Love the Homestyle Restaurant. Very good menu choices, and the food is prepared very well. Homemade Focaccia bread was delish. The table loved the Fried Brussel Spouts - they had a very nice, light sauce on them. I was very happy with the Grilled Chicken and my dinnermates were very pleased with the Salmon and Shrimp and Grits. So, needless to say, they prepare the food very well. A nice ambiance for a ski town, if a bit crowded. And the bartender can make some very nice cocktails. Only downside is it is hard to get a table, so you have to reserve well in advance. But worth the effort for sure.

I honestly didn't know what to expect when my fiancé and I made dinner reservations, but oh my they exceeded our expectations! Literally 10/10 right when you walk in the hostess is wicked friendly, signature drinks are spot on, and the meals are just so flavorful. All I can say is we left fat and happy so totally worth it!
