WhistlePig Whiskey Parlour

This is not a free tasting like most of the smaller distilleries in the area, but the price is worth it for an upgraded experience. It is a very well-appointed whiskey lounge and the attendant was extremely knowledgeable and thorough in his presentation. It was a nice touch that he made a cocktail of sorts for those that don't enjoy straight spirits. This is a small space so you may want to call ahead for larger groups.

On our last day in Vermont my love and I took a little drive. I was surprised to learn that my favorite rye whiskey was made in
Vermont and there were few tasting rooms around you can visit and take the opportunity to sample some of their newest and most delicious creations here. Now there is no food here and you can only only have 1 ounce total so for 3 sips that's barely enough but our host Bill was great. Very knowledgeable and enjoyed learning about the distillery. The best part of course was sitting across from my love, giggling and enjoying our Vermont getaway. What a magical place to celebrate our love and journey. Overall very positive experience, highly recommend the flight choices over choosing just one single pour. One thing you need to keep in mind is that due to state law, you are only allowed to order a total of 1 oz. That's per person per visit. don't plan on getting lit here, this is strictly for tasting purposes and purchases. Great experience and wonderful customer service. Highly recommend checking it out.

Great visit option to try Vermont-based rye whiskey. The tasting room is not large so recommend a reservation if you want a guarantee. My wife and I lucked out and visited at a time window on a Friday when there was an opening. Hostess was fun and energetic. The rooms accent the many distilled spirits Whistlepig offers. Small flight though due to VT laws for tasting rooms limiting patrons to 1 oz. total. Great side option if waiting for a table at Simon Pearce located next door.

This place was alot of fun. The lady who served us did a fantastic job even getting our girls some maple syrup drinks. Enjoyed all the different of drinks we were able to try. The place was decorated really nice and I liked all the stuff the had on the walls. Will definitely be getting more whistlepig whiskey once we finished the bottles we got while there.

First time here with my adult children. So fun. Great whiskey. Super atmosphere. Make a reservation. Pay the price for the distiller tasting.

What a pleasant surprise!!
My wife and I had decided to drive to Quechee on a whim... we are new to the area and didn't know what to expect. I happened to see the WhistlePig sign and we turned in. We had a great time! The gentleman waiting on us was informative, helpful, and genuinely friendly. He made us feel welcome and answered all of our questions. The whiskey, of course, was fantastic! A nice pour of an 18-yr old double-malted rye for just $18 is a bargain in my book! Oh, and it was soooo worth it!
WhistlePig's bottled cocktails, the Orange Fashioned and the Smoked Fashioned are worth the trip all by themselves! The smoked pecan and maple flavors are just unbelievable. A bottle of the Smoked Fashioned had to go home with us!
Highly recommended stop if you're in the area!

Addendum....
We went back....if I could give another few stars, I'd certainly tack them on there. We got to try a pour of their Boss Hog IX selection, "Siren's Song." Now, if they would have had a bottle available to purchase that day, I would have bought it, even at it's $699 price. It would have been worth the price. The flavors in that glass are indescribable, the nose likewise. If you find yourself there on a day when they have a bottle for tasting, do yourself a favor and go for it! It's a masterpiece!

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Willing to answer any question and never makes you feel like they have someplace else to be or you're lacking if you're less knowledgeable. Can make customized whiskey tasting flights. Loved the whiskey.

An absolute experience! A must-do if you enjoy rye, but also if you’re a scotch, bourbon or whisky drinker in general. Made a reservation for one (the easiest reservation to get) and was welcomed by Bill, who made me feel right at home. After a three-taste flight, expertly narrated by Bill, I left with a bottle and a promise to return the next day after being told about some ‘off the menu’ offerings. Overall, a fantastic experience in an amazing space. It’s a shame Google tops out at only 5 stars. This will be a regular stop on my trips to Vermont. FYI, the price I quoted did not include the bottle…just the average price of a flight.

We hosted a corporate event at the Whistle Pig downstairs tasting room. It was a fantastic experience and the highlight of our group's trip up here. The whiskey was fantastic, the ambience was superb, and Meg was an amazing tasting guide. She was informative, enthusiastic, entertaining, and has a great sense of humor. We will definitely be back for more tastings, both individually and with our group.

What a surprise, just made a turn and there was the sign. Forgot we were nearby to this - and glad to find it. Bartender was excellent - as was the Rye Whisky. Whistle pig is a TOP NOTCH brand, and offers an astounding variety of flavors under one label. Much fun and a great stop - can't wait to try their next round!

If you're fan of Whistlepig or rye whiskeys and in the area, you owe it to yourself to stop in and enjoy a flight. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, the whiskey phenomenal, and the people wonderful!

On a Week day visit: Zero wait time,
Super knowledgeable, and very passionate, great descriptions and interaction. Everything was very good with great suggestions, bourbon least impressive of our tasting flights, but the 12 year old world, 10yr rye, and 6 yr rye were all amazing! Would love to experience the space in the evening, music set the mood very well.

This is a quaint little spot I am very happy we went out of our way to go to. I am a big WP fan, and this place did not disappoint. Very cool selection. The only thing holding them back to make the most out of going there is the strict Vermont liquor laws, which I hope for them will change at some point! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I'd go again next time I was in Vermont! I think it goes without saying the whiskey was great :)

Great place to stop in for some whisky. The tasting was very good and the atmosphere so chill and quiet. Be aware you only can purchase 1 ounce a person per visit. But it’s worth it.

Great vibe, great service, great whiskey. The only downside is that you can only consume 1oz of whiskey per person. Definitely not a place you can stay long at.

You can bring your own food.

discovered while out site seeing. Beautiful location and tasting parlor. Friendly and knowledgeable team and great conversations about distilling and flavor profiles. Definitely a must see!

Fun place to go and sample some good tasting whiskey. The parlor is nice with comfortable seating. It's a great experience and I can't wait to go again.

The parlour was a great experience - good tasting selection and negroni was delicious! Meg was fantastic in her one-woman show and we had an excellent time. Highly recommend trying one of the Boss Hog.
