My new favorite spot! Connected to a great beach area with concessions and rentals. Super safety plus: the campground gate to get in gets shut at night. You get a code to come in after hours once you check in. Our site was the best (keeping that a secret so it isn't always booked 😉) and the walking trail access was great. One stop shop for a great getaway!

Went ice fishing. Wasn't much ice yet so I had to be real careful. The state park is a great place to park. Didn't have to worry about car break-ins it's safe. Close walk to the shore maybe 200 feet away. Always use caution ⚠ when going out on any ice. Bring throw rope steel bar to test thickness of ice. Use common sense. Ice can be very dangerous if you don't know what your doing.

Great campground, we were amazed at the lack of mosquitoes! A rarity these days. Sites are in close proximity, but would still recommend. The lake is great for boating, fishing, kayaking, & swimming.

Great camp ground. Sites are well spaced and able to accommodate any level of camping (tent to RV). Indoor toilets and a pay shower were available, and their area was clean. Also there were frequent spots to get fresh water. While we did not use them, there were sites that had power hook ups.

There's a nice beach with its own indoor bathrooms) and a spot to launch your boat.

We've gone two separate summers and have found the other patrons to generally be good people who observe the rules (every now and then there's someone who doesn't follow the noise rules, but they have been few and far between)

My favorite vacation spot to visit every year. Been coming here since I was a kid. Amazing camp ground, friendly staff, clean facilities (unless other patrons forgot what manners are), great sites with plenty of room and fire pits, dock access, new additions making more room for boats and convenience, and good prices! Highly recommended.

Second year we've done our boys fishing trip at this campground. We enjoy the fact they have a boat launch and floating docks to tie up your boat. The bass fishing is good too. You are also not far from stores for the kast minute things one forgets to pack for camping.

Had an amazing experience here. Beautiful campground and the sites were pretty private. We stayed at the Deer Lean-To which was had a private alcove and access to the lake. Only 2 issues which were that we couldn’t just book for 1 night which meant we had to pay for 2 nights, and the lake had a lot of algae where the campground was. Neither of those issues would prevent us from coming back. We had a boat so we just paddled out a little further and the lake was fine. Bathrooms were well kept. Overall great experience!!

Stayed for 2 nights. Pretty typical of a state park setup, lots of sites for it's size. Sites are pretty close together but have trees and shrubs between most. Also it's right by the lake and has its own boat launch and dock! Had a great time!

Well maintained grounds, and very clean facilities as far as state parks go. Really nice day use area, and lots of trails nearby to make a day trip of hiking the nearby lake and ponds. Only complaint is that the staff didn't seem to enforce quiet hours as strictly as they do other places, so there were some louder groups left unchecked late at night causing a disturbance.

Went here to visit my mother and step father for forth of July weekend. We traveled 80 likes to do so and it is a beautiful place. Clean lots and bathrooms and showers and nice clear water for swimming or other water based activities. Staff are super nice. We will deff be back for a weekend. They also allow dogs and other pets
