I had an amazing experience with Damar Cars!! I called 1/2 before closing but was an hour away to see a 2000 Saturn for my daughter (purple is her favorite color). I spoke to Randy who said that they would stay open late for me. When I got there I was completely amazed at the condition of the car. At that price point, I had seen a lot of junk, but the Saturn was in great condition and looked brand new!!. Joseph and Randy explained to me that there was an error on the title concerning the mileage of the car. Randy took the time to walk me thru the car fax report which verified the mileage was in fact correct.The car runs absolutely great and my daughter is very happy to be driving what looks like a brand new car. I was very fortunate that someone was there earlier that day, but had passed on the car. I am very happy with my experience and will definitely be back to buy another car for my son in 2 years!! I wish I had found Damar cars listings months ago. I probably spent 4 months looking for a good vehicle online. Met up with over a dozen scammers and people overpricing garbage cars with hundreds of thousands of miles. But my new work truck is perfect condition and priced so well. This isn't fair price for fair car it's excellent price for beautiful car.

Damar Cars is Philly's best kept secret for buying used cars and vehicles. Randy knows what he's talking about when it comes to cars and the whole car buying process. Trust me, I peppered him with questions because buying a car is a major life decision, and he answered every question expertly and confidently. Even better, he is a really good guy who will give you honest answers. He will absolutely work with you and is very fair. Randy gave me an incredible deal on a used car that had hardly any mileage. The cars are kept in excellent condition and the interiors are clean and like brand new. Randy also knows a lot of people in the area in the automotive industry and will point you in the right direction with whatever you need. In addition to selling used vehicles, they also do all kinds of work and service on cars. I also met Joe, who is a really nice guy, is super positive, and puts you at ease. I would highly recommend Damar Cars for buying a used car! You will absolutely get an incredible deal and a great experience!

The under carriage of my car was rattling , banging and had a problem with my emmissions. Picked it up yesterday and so far it's completely quiet, it even feels like it's running smoother, and the check engine light is finally off! Very Happy with the service!

I bought a CRV from Randy and Damar cars and would highly recommend them. Compared to the dealers I visited they were very straight forward and competent. Randy and a local tag shop helped me navigate a complicated situation with getting my temporary license that the dealers were unable to solve and unlike the dealers who tried to charge $350 for documents, we were able to do it for $60. The car was an unbelievable price compared to the market value and I have yet to find a problem after 2 weeks of use. The staff was incredibly friendly and competent.

Bought my 2008 Honda Fit from Damar recently and Randy was incredibly helpful from the first call. When I arrived I did not feel pressure to buy and was able to take my time with the car. The car had sporty, very extra wheels on it that I did not want, as well as tinted windows. After expressing that I didn't want those features, Randy said he'd switch out the wheels/tires, and remove the tint for no extra charge. He stayed in touch throughout the process, and I felt very in the loop. Just today, about a month later, he called to say he found an extra key to my car and dropped it in the mail for me. I highly recommend Damar cars. Trust me, I drove all the way up there from West Philly twice and it was very much worth it!

Damar Cars sold me a great car at an amazing price. Staff was super friendly, down to earth, and incredibly helpful. They even noticed my boyfriend's tires were flat and filled them for him while I was waiting to pick up my new car. I live 45 minutes away and needed to come after work to finalize everything and they waited for me even though I arrived just after business hours, and were willing to accommodate my tight schedule. Just little things like that showed me they really pay attention to customer service and doing good business. The car runs great. They tuned it up before selling to me and made sure it had a clean inspection. Interior was immaculate. No complaints about the car, it was exactly as described in Autotrader. I worked with Joseph regarding the paperwork and finalzing the sale, and he was so nice, very communicative, kept me updated regarding the car and my financing, and he was prompt in answering any questions I had. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a used car, or if you need some mechanic work done. Randy and his staff are very honest and hardworking guys.

Very positive experience. We were looking for a very specific vehicle and found a 2011 Rav4 V6 Limited at Damar. The two-hour trip was worth it to us because the vehicle was exactly as advertised. The Damar personnel were honest, helpful, and very courteous. We placed a down payment and could not return for two weeks because of work schedules. My husband updated them on our schedule during the two weeks and every phone call was met with courtesy and positive information. When we returned we found the vehicle had been garage kept just like promised and the paperwork transition was very easy and smooth. We left the dealer with a great vehicle and no regrets. From our experience I would recommend if you are looking for a used vehicle to check Damar before you purchase anywhere else.

Working with Joe is a pleasure. Very friendly and helpful. Absolutely NO high pressure tactics. Extremely professional and make the car buying process very easy.
They do not accept credit cards at this time nor do they have financing. So just be prepared to have your finances taken care of prior to arriving. But you will be pleased with your experience shopping with Joe and Randy.
Highly recommend them and we will be back in the future.

I would recommend Damar Cars to anyone in need of a trustworthy mechanic. I have used them every time I have needed a mechanic over the last 6 years. I have referred many people to them and all have called and thanked me. The prices can’t be beat and he will work with you if he has wiggle room to do so. They have done everything to my vehicles from oil changes and breaks to a new transmission and detail work. My most recent experience was the best. I got into an accident and my car needed a lot of work. Randy handled all of it for me including with the insurance company. When I got the car back he had vacuumed and wiped down the insides for me. (It was bad inside I have 3 little kids!) He made my car look better than it did before the accident and was quick with getting it back to me. I was told once a vehicle is in an accident it never looks or drives the same but that is not the case. Also my vehicle is a lease and after the accident I was worried I would be charged for the damages when it comes time to turn it in but my car looks brand new so I have nothing to worry about. I have been driving it for a month now and haven’t had a single problem with it. The whole experience was great and I want to thank you for also being there. I know I’m not getting ripped off and your employees Joe and Kenny are courtesy and helpful. I have not used any other mechanic in the last 6 years and would not use another one moving forward.

My dad and I visited the shop on November 14th and met with Randy who worked with us on getting the 05 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx. He was very responsible, respectful and showed us all the CARFAX report. The drivers seat track was messed up and Randy notified us that it would be fix by Monday or Tuesday. He kept in contact with my dad and I received my car that Tuesday November 17th, ON MY BIRTHDAY! Joseph was also great, he fixed the driver seat and he counted the money three times in front of us to make sure it was all there. The car was ready to go. Everything was a smooth transaction! Mind you this was my first car and car experience. Thank you guys!

Was just looking over his website to see his inventory as my girlfriend got her permit finally at age 42 lol, and seen hes had issues with someone pretending to be his shop causing him bad reviews. I've bought 3 cars from this place over the last 2 years and every time the service was great and all 3 cars (PT Cruiser, Malibu, Focus Wagon) were in showroom new condition, and running great when I left with them. I plan on returning to buy a 4th car when my girlfriend passes her license. This place will have my business as long as I'm living in the area.
