Update: 2.16.24: I had a bit of an issue initially but the owner of the company contacted me and has has worked with me to ensure we are completely satisfied. He was pleasant and helpful. Although we haven't received our shed yet, I have seen their work in person and I know I will be receiving a top notch quality structure.

Jamaica Cottage Shop is wonderful. They provided exactly what my family was hoping for. From Josh who helped us through the design and purchase phase; to Fred who rescheduled right into three snowstorms until we finally got it right on a February day without a snowstorm; to Dave’s team (with Nate and Russ) who delivered our Florida Room (which we named Bugsy — because it will keep the bugs out). Thank you. Five stars easily.

My wife and I have now had two kits delivered from Jamaica Cottage Shop -- both have been incredibly smooth experiences. We have undeveloped land that has a very tricky access road. Jamaica's delivery drivers were masters at working their flatbeds in a pretty unorthodox environment. Our kits were dropped safe and sound -- super professional and friendly. I'd most highly recommend!

Great experience overall working with JCS from design to delivery, everyone was a pleasure to deal with. Delivery was scheduled well in advance and products shipped/delivered on time without issue. Will update post with pictures after build is complete.

Update - build is complete. Had to have a few additional trim pieces sent as the original pieces were too short but Hali and Catherine did an exceptional job getting the additional trim out and delivered within a few days. Excellent company to work with from start to finish.

I really like Jamaica Cottage Shop's designs! I ordered the Equipment Shed Plans and was able to download them almost immediately with paper copies arriving just a few days later. I'm in construction but to find a design and plan that suits my needs with cut lists etc. is a huge time saver. Very happy with my purchase!

A great experience with Jamaica Cottage. We ended up building the shed. The company delivered the lumber and all supplies. I think what was most impressive was their customer service. We had a couple hiccups with our project and they came to our rescue, continued to provide support, and ensured our project would be successful. When it came time to stain the shed, they even connected us with a stain expert to ensure we were using the right product for our part of the country. Most importantly, their sheds are unique and stand out from the competition. We are getting many compliments from our neighbors.

I had two separate kits on one delivery from Jamaica Cottage and the process was impressively seamless. The kits simply slid off the truck and gently landed on my pre designated areas. Peter, the driver was very friendly and helpful in pointing out how the different sections contained in each kit were organized.

Now on to putting the puzzles together.

From the start, we have had a great experience with Jamaica Cottage Shop. Fran, our sales person we very personable, knowledgable, and provided great advice. Our shed was ready weeks earlier than expected, it's delivered and is great! We purchased the Economy Vermonter. It is a well built and quality shed and, for our purpose, an attractive and economical solution for outdoor storage. Amanda in Logistics was very friendly and helpful, and Matt, who delivered our shed, was truly amazing. He arrived with a larger truck due to a second delivery in our area which posed some real logistical challenges. Not only was Matt skillful, he was patient and friendly and kept our “concerns” to an absolute minimum by explaining all the “moves” he had to make to get the truck down our driveway. He placed the shed in its location, balanced it, and installed the ramp. All and all...we are thrilled to have chosen Jamaica Cottage Shop and to have their shed in our yard!

Excellent service from start to finish. We purchased a shed that had already been built and was on their lot. They quoted about 6 weeks for delivery but offered to come sooner when a spot opened up and we accepted. The delivery was incredibly professional and thorough and the technician took the time to ensure that it was placed perfectly, leveled and did a walk-through at the end to make sure everything was lined up and level. Could not have asked for more. The quality of the building is excellent, rough hewn lumber, solid design and well built. It is very obvious that they take pride in their product and service. They say you get what you pay for, but with this company I feel like you get just a little bit more.

I bought my building on sale. I found that the options with Jamaica Cottage Shop are much better than a similar-sized metal building and are reasonably priced, especially on sale. The The associates were helpful throughout the process of ordering and delivery. The freight company was communicative during delivery and hit the delivery window perfectly.

We love our Jamaica Cottage Shop house. We built our house on Martha’s Vineyard. The coordination of the staff for purchasing, shipping and support during the process was exemplary! The recommendation of Albert Woods Builder of Vermont was a major key to the success of the construction. His company is highly knowledgeable of the product. The delivery of our 10 x 12 New Yorker shed went smoothly and it was placed on blocks in the selected location. Everything was completed for use including the ramp. The delivery driver/installer was friendly and efficient. I was amazed at the remote controlled trailer that the shed arrived on and allowed exact placement. Overall very pleased with the quality of the shed and the delivery.

The shed we bought is well made and really suits our needs. Jamaica Cottage shop was very easy and responsive to work with and even held the shed for us for a while to accommodate our delivery schedule.

My husband needed a few questions answered on installing fascia and shadow trim for a shed he is building from scratch. My husband is NOT a Jamaica Cottage Shop customer. Joe Lupiani took my husband's call and answered his questions immediately. He even sent him a detailed document via email explaining the process, all without charging a fee and all with knowing he is not a paying customer. If we ever need to purchase anything in the future that this company can offer, you can bet your bottom dollar, we will! What a great first impression from Jamaica Cottage Shop! Joe, YOU ROCK!!

The hemlock wood is beautiful. The kits are perfect for making high quality structures, myself, on our farm. This is our second kit. It is completed. I am so pleased... again. Thank you!

We love our shed! We have only good things to say about Jamaica Cottage Shop; from the ease of website for viewing inventory; responsive customer service; detailed instructions; and very helpful delivery driver who made sure everything was level and working properly. The shed is top quality materials and workmanship and looks amazing! We highly recommend them for any building needs!

I ordered plans from Jamaica Cottage Shop five years ago. I had never gotten around to building the structure until now May 2023. I still had the email from Jamaica for the the download with the invoice number. I noticed access to the plans never expired on the invoice. My link did not work. I reached out to them on Saturday, May 13, 2023. Jonny got back to me first thing Monday morning and reset the link. I do not know of many companies that will make a lifetime commitment but Jamaica Cottage is one company that stands by their commitment. Thanks Jonny you have a life long customer here!

I recently ordered a set of architectural plans… and am extremely delighted with what I received. Hard-copy delivery was very fast via priority mail and the plans are absolutely perfect. Very easy to understand and extremely detailed. Highly recommended.

Excellent customer service! I got the 24x36 equipment shed. Everything was delivered as described and ready to assemble. It took me longer than I expected, as it was just me (had to rent a lift machine to help), but loved the project! Will definitely be ordering other kits in the future!
