This place is clean, great value and charming. The people who work there make it however. Very kind and helpful. As long as Jen is running it you will be well looked after

5 stars, for what this place is - a great place to stay for a low maintenance vacationer to southern VT, who is on a reasonable budget. We stay here when skiing Magic Mtn with the kids. It's close to the mountain, comfortable, and has a nice outdoor breakfast bar. It may be a bit more expensive on high demand ski weekends, but that makes business sense.
The host is friendly, the rooms have everything we need - a good-sized fridge, comfortable beds and extra blankets; and we like the old school, 60s chalet vibe.

Room was spotless, comfortable and well equipped. Exceeded our expectations. Free breakfast was great. Proprietors were very nice. Absolutely no disappointments. If I’m ever visiting Londonderry Vermont in the future would definitely stay here again.

Best place to stay in the area! 💯Jen and Dom are great hosts. The rooms were very clean and comfortable love the outdoor area with the picnic table and grill it was perfect after a long day and they provided with current up to date events going on in the area thank you so much for the amazing hospitality.

We live nearby and lost power and stopped here to see if they had a room and they did! Jen and Dom have been nothing but kind to me, my boyfriend and our baby! The room is super cute and very clean! They replaced our towels quickly and also left us a goodies basket of snacks and breakfast items as well as sodas and waters in the fridge! I am honestly blown away by there service and hospitality! Highly recommend staying here!!

After a long day riding bikes through the Vermont mountains, we rolled passed the vacancy sign at the Snowdon Chalet and how fortunate we were to do so. Jen and Dom were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was very clean and well-kept. Most importantly, it was comfortable, and we slept soundly before setting off on the bikes the next morning. The breakfast was amazing, and there were so many options. We were refreshed and fueled up. So happy we came across the Snowdon Chalet, and I would stay there again without hesitation.

I stayed at the Snowdon Chalet during a ski weekend. The owners are phenomenal hosts and definitely make their guests feel welcomed. The rooms are clean and well kept, and the beds are super comfy. I would definitely stay at the Snowdon Chalet again.

Cannot beat the location, and our room was spotless, tastefully decorated (in 1960s retro) and had a bunch of really thoughtful extras. Even the info binder (usually a nasty, sticky object in hotels) was clean and fresh! The bathroom was sparkling clean.
Honestly cannot wait to stay here again.

A Modern Vintage Gem in the Heart of the Green Mountains On a trip in October 2021, our plans didn't go as expected so our friend arranged lodging for us at the Snowdon Chalet. And what a pleasure it turned out to be! Our host Jen greeted us on arrival, directed us to our room and provided her contact details. We discovered a circa 1960's motel room with 2020's amenities - comfortable new beds, an HDTV, fridge, microwave, modern lighting throughout and of course free WIFI. All spotlessly clean!

The bathroom was a mix of vintage meets modern with lots of bright lighting, combined with some of the amazing tile work common decades ago. Everything here was super clean and all in working order.

The owners have definitely made a lot of improvements since arriving a few years ago. It's quite clear from their literature (and many of the online reviews) that this is indeed an older motel (opened in 1962), but as I can attest to, modernized and CLEAN. If you love vintage/retro, you'll love the Snowdon Chalet Motel.

During our stay, breakfast was a to-go type style, with a nice setup outside for juices and other treats. An individual thermos of coffee at our door was a welcome wake-up --- open your door, grab your coffee and breakfast goodie bag and you're good to go. I'm sure that will change based on the crazy world we're living in.

I would absolutely stay again and would recommend to anyone looking for a unique, family owned comfortable and clean motel!

We spent two nights at this small motel, with a low expectation as we couldn't find other hotels closer to Okemo. We were totally surprised but the quality, the cleanness, and the great service the owners provided. The room was very cozy, thoughtfully arranged, with cookies, drinks, and everything you need, at no extra charge. The beddings are extra clean and everything is well maintained. You can feel that the owners care about this place as if every room is for themselves to live in. When we called ahead before driving over to asked for the road condition, as it was snowing, Jen ran out and took a picture of the road to send over to my phone. They are extra careful and ask for Covid vaccination records to ensure everyone is safe. Highly recommended!

Perfect hotel for a snowy night stay just minutes away from ski resorts. Our room was large, extremely clean ,and perfectly adorned. Jen was an amazing host and provided us with an ample breakfast selection and hot coffee delivered right outside our door in the morning. Very COVID safe, I would stay again!

If all motels were like this I would stay in motels all the time! Absolutely lovely room and adorable little.motel that is very clean and organized! They have a wonderful breakfast in the mornings as well and make your bed and room each day! So happy with this experience, extremely pleasant and would recommend to anyone!

Great little spot! we stayed to ski at Magic and its a quaint motel, nice room, comfy bed, close to the mountain. Retro styling. Will stay again!

It was clean, qieet, and well maintained. For being built in 1964, it was nicely updated. Well stocked room as well. The complimentary breakfast had a wide variety of items. Great stay!

Such a cute and cozy place to stay! My boyfriend and I stayed here during the Wanderlust yoga festival and we absolutely loved it. Such a retro yet home-like feel to this place. It is so nice to sit up on the deck when you get back here after a long day and read a bit. Also- they make great coffee in the morning. We will definitely be back this winter for some skiing! Thanks for making our stay great :)

Excellent all around. Clean, snacks offered in the room, a pot of coffee delivered to your door, spacious, well equipped. Comfy bed, extra pillows and blankets, lovely, personalized welcome.

Fun little motel near 3 ski resorts in SoVT. It's run by a husband and wife who left the regular 9-5 nonsense. Motel is in a gradual upgrade/update but we found it to be very comfortable, clean and cozy with a lot of charm and character. Owners are very friendly and really care about their guests. Only issue is that the walls are a little thin but when we stayed there, most everyone at the motel had been out skiing all day and were quiet/passed out by about 10, so it was a good night sleep. We'll be back next time we're in the area!

This place was fantastic! The rooms were cozy with a home-y touch! It felt like we were staying at Grandma’s house! 😊 The breakfast was delicious and the owners were super friendly. Excellent location for skiing as well! My boyfriend and I will definitely be staying again!
