The New American Grill

Great food. Read that neg review from the guy who paid $25 but suggests it was only $2 worth of food and thought about overhead expenses, insurance costs, labor expense, utilities and maintenance/repairs that are also a part of running a small business. Perhaps he should open up his own restaurant and find out just how hard it is to run a business. Or, maybe he should learn to cook.

Super friendly staff. Everything on menu looked excellent, but I chose one of the specials. It was a shrimp au gratin dish and did not disappoint. Good beer selection of local VT brews. Definitely will make this place a must visit every time we are up there.

This little restaurant in Londonderry is quite an amazing find. The food is so good and the menu has a wide variety of choices that suit many different appetites. I enjoyed it so much the first time I went, that I had to go back the following week. I had the pierogies and the duck and both were sensational.

There aren't many late dinner options where we were staying, so we only had one choice in restaurant haha. But even though we had to wait for a seat it was all worth it. Delicious food and attentive staff. I highly recommend the brie artichoke dip!

Great service and super fast wings. BTW if you are that guy who was complaining loud enough to get other diners attention... And you left in a rage... Your wings wher awesome.

The food was so fresh, the tuna was delicious. Great menu, service was fast, accurate & fun. Very clean, restrooms were very clean. You can tell the owners & employees are proud of what they are doing! Will definitely come back!! Unassuming when you drive in...this is a gem to find!!! Thank you!

I’ve been traveling to Londonderry for work on many recent occasions and am so glad to have discovered American Grill. The food is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere is so inviting. Wish this restaurant was back in my home town.

We had Max cater our wedding this past September and it was a great experience! Max was very knowledgeable, provided valuable insights and suggestions for food and preparation, and the staff who helped at the event were incredible. Everyone loved the food and the whole event went off without a hitch. Thanks for helping to make our wedding day amazing!

What a great place! Fresh high quality food, an eclectic menu of delicious plates, skillfully prepared. Several gluten free options. The waitress was very nice and knowledgeable of gluten intolerance and I was served a delicious gluten free meal. The environment is welcoming and very clean. I wish the owners and the people working at this restaurant the greatest success.

This was my first visit and I will definitely be back. I had the seafood scampi and it was fresh, light and delicious. The scallops were perfectly cooked. Perfect size portion. Service was delightful. Tatiana engaged in conversation and was efficient. I ended with a slice of the chocolate amaretto cake. It was warm with pockets of gooey chocolateness and a scoop of ice cream. It was a large enough slice to share with my husband. Even though the space is small, the noise level was very low. They do quite a bit of take out service, too. We will definitely be back.

Supports local music! Delicious, wholesome food, simple to complex tastes. Want to go back to try their duck. Crispy on outside soft on inside thin cut sweet potato fries very good. Chicken soup could cure anything. Mixed veggie stir fry delicate and hardy at same time. Clean, friendly, up to date.

We have had lunch a number of times and the new American Grill never disappoints. The soups of the day is always delicious as well as the chowder. Today was beef chili and vegetarian chili with sweet potatoes. Delicious! And the Von Trapp Pilsner on tap was a bonus

Delicious! Loved my gyro and my parents loved the Mac and cheese and burger! Everything was great and no complaints!

The menu has a wide variety of options from wings to burgers to pasta to duck. The food was good and the service even better!

I think this is the 1st Google restaurant review I've ever made. Omw back from NH to IN, pulled in just to take a nap in their parking lot, saw they were open and figured it'd be the only place that'd still be open in a rural area. Sign flipped from Open to Closed as I shut my car door. Owner or mgr happens to be walking out past my car to retrieve the streetside advertisement sign, sees me, and unprovoked offers to bring me some food that's already prepared and still good, I tried to be polite but he wasn't going for it, he delivered split pea soup and chowder to my car without request.
Just having had my 27th anniversary at Olive Garden, although now part time, I know full well that in 2023 most restaurant people can't wait to just get home after getting accosted by customers for being the few who still work and then even show up for their shift.
After driving 4200 miles the last 10 days and meeting thousands of wonderful people who seeked my companionship via caressing one of my bumpers or doors at 78 mph, maybe there are still people that actually are considerate of other humans.
Oh yeah and the food was good.
Next time I make a wrong turn for Indy, I'll be back.

We Have eaten here many times. Never disappointed. Prepare to wait for a table. Worth it. Service is always friendly and efficient with smiles. Once we had the nicest server, who gave us their bread pudding recipe. So delicious. Have tried many dishes and enjoyed all meals. Relaxed atmosphere needed after skiing. Wish we lived closer.

I have been here many times, never a bad meal. The menu ranges from bar standard burgers and sandwiches, but also has some good pasta and mains. Nice bar with good local beer selection and staff that keeps things moving even when there is a line out the door.

We are staying at Stratton Mountain for the weekend. We were looking for a decent family restaurant. We stopped here after passing by a couple of roadside places closer to the condo. We are glad we took the extra short ride. I had a great burger, and my daughter had kielbasa and peirogi. Grandma had quesadias. Everything was fresh and tasty. Service was fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable.

This place was awesome! We had a group of 9 on a Saturday night and they were able to seat us right away. Loved the live music and the food was great too. There’s definitely something for everyone on the menu and even with a large group not a single thing was wrong.

We almost ditched coming when we saw the outside! Not great curb appeal but inside was very nice. The did was amazing and creative menu.
