Chocolate in the oven is our go to for a treat! Their eclairs, rainbow cakes, chocolate bomb cheesecake and other pastries are the best around! It was a given that we would have Cathy and her amazing team make our wedding cake for our special day! It was beautiful and delicious! A special thanks to Dawn for her meticulous decorating skills! We have gotten multiple cakes, many cupcakes, cookies, pastries and everything has been delicious. My cannoli cake birthday cake was great, my husband loved his strawberry shortcake birthday cake. Pistachio eclairs are out of this world. The cutest themed sugar cookies for each holiday that taste as good as they look. M&m cupcakes are also a favorite. If there are any issues with anything, they will always make it right. We love this bakery, as do many others in the area, and we will always be back!

We have been coming here practically every weekend since discovering this place about 6 months ago. The desserts here are all on point. We just had them make a cake for my son's birthday. The cake was delicious and the price was very reasonable.

From the moment we pulled up to bakery we were excited! The decor was a great! We were greeted with smiles as soon as we walked through the door. We had the NYE buttercream cookies and they were amazing. The buttercream was so good. My boys are still talking about the cookies hours later and how nice they were decorated! We can’t wait to return and try more goodies.

Nice little gem in Milford for cookies, pastries, candy and ice cream. The staff is very nice and the location has so many treats to choose from. The strawberry ice cream was very good! We will definitely be back to try some more items.

Heaven on earth! So far I haven't had anything that is less than awesomely divine! Perfect choclatelyness, perfect sweetness and delightful flavors and textures in every treat I have tried (and have tried a few too many lol and no regrets). From chocolate things to citrus cakes- it's all too good! Thankfully I live a few towns away because if I lived closer I would weigh a lot more! Highly recommend all the delightful goodies sold here!

We stopped by to see what they have and I got a Oreo cheesecake and it was fantastic we are going to have to go back and try the other items that they have they all look fantastic

Had a small Baby Gender celebration cake made! She took my order on such notice (ordered late AM and was done early PM) and the cake came out amazing! Also picked up some cupcakes while I was there! I will be 100% referring this bakery to anyone and everyone! Thank you so much! 💙👣

I have been ordering my special occasion cakes from Chocolate in the oven for about two years now. The cakes are always beautiful and delicious. Most bakeries can’t achieve both. It’s usually pretty but taste terrible. Or Vice a versa. I just had them make a vanilla naked cake with raspberry mousse filling for my daughters baby shower. The most delicious cake I have ever had!!!! Thank you so much!!!

Wow! What else can you say about the DELICIOUS treats from this bakery! We will be returning, even though it is a 90 minute trip. Best crumb cake and brownies anywhere.

Was our first time there today. Pleasant service. You can tell they put effort into all of their baked goods. Everything my son and I got was delicious...the cheesecake was some of the best I ever had. Prices were not as bad as I anticipated, given the area. We are even thinking of what to get from there for Thanksgiving coming up 😊 highly recommend

You can't walk past this place without the aroma drawing you in. They have a very good selection of freshly baked items that are so amazingly delicious. They also have some gluten free options and homemade ice cream.

Truffles were delicious. We will make is a must have every time we are near.

Hands down the best pastries I’ve had in the U.S. The management is awesome, the staff is super friendly, and definitely have the best coffee in Milford.

Finally got to stop in this bakery and they defiently did not disappoint. Everything looked so amazing in their shop it was so hard for us to pick a treat. Not only did everything look so good, everything we brought home was delicious! Thanks again for the Macaroons.😁

This is everything I want in a bake shoppe. While I tend to use the phrase “oh, my god,” when I feel I’ve died and gone to Heaven, it certainly seems a contradiction in terms considering the sinfully rich selection of desserts offered. When you want to be bad, this is the place to go.

Chocolate in the Oven is that perfect little center of town bakery. It is big enough for a wonderful assortment of treats, yet small enough to make you feel exactly like a kid in a candy shoppe. Colorful confections fill their perfectly displayed cases, leaving you longing for one of each.

Immediately upon entering, before my eyes was a devilishly decadent looking chocolate chip cookie cheesecake square. Perhaps it was just as well that I didn’t look around further before making my selection. However, while it was being packaged I couldn’t help but notice how amazing the cupcakes looked a couple inches away and added to my order (for my family). When everything was boxed and paid for, I allowed my eyes to wander further and continued to drool.

All good reviews generally include pictures. But all I could think about was diving into my cheesecake square which I finished within a mile of leaving, while cruising the equally appealing and lovely streets of Milford.

Strategically speaking, I have a reason to go back for the sole purpose of taking pictures 😉

For the record, I am a lover of cheesecake and chocolate chip cookies. And in this combination, one plus one equals a ten! The first bite was everything I expected and more. Plus, it was possible to hold it like a cookie to eat while I was driving. Although it was big enough to have cut into four smaller squares, it kept beckoning to me at each red light I hit. Absolute perfection.

Visiting Chocolate in the Oven is a sensory experience, and the expectation is not only met, but far exceeded. Even their boxes are appealing.

Hats off to their baker, Meredith, who I interviewed for an article I was writing about their cookie fundraiser for a local Special Olympics athlete. They had put the athlete’s image on cookies, and proceeds were going to her team. I actually went in to buy these cookies, which I am happy to say I did as well. A business that gives back to the community is an A-class establishment.

I can’t wait to go back. This bakery is now my gold standard.

Finally! It took me long enough to visit the place. I'm definitely coming back. All the stuff we bought were SO delicious! I love s'mores and the s'mores bars were just perfect combination of ingredients!
