I very much appreciate The Upper Pass Lodge. The rooms are clean and spacious and it’s super relaxed and low key especially for pet owners which is SO nice. The restaurant, fireplace and bar are also great. Having a parking space right outside of my door.. priceless.

Amazing service, the lodge and Vince make everyone feel as though this is home.
The cocktails from the bar are well made and the food is great. Will go back every year!
The 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit feels like a home and has great views.
The family unit is roomy, clean, has easy access to everything and is a basic older room which is reflected in the very fair price.
Love my stays at the upper pass lodge.

If you’re looking for a truly wonderful VT experience without spending outrageous amounts of money, look no further than Upper Pass. Within 20-30 minutes of just about every great attraction in Central Vermont, this comfortable and welcoming lodge has it all. The restaurant is serving some of the most delicious food you’ll find anywhere at great prices, the bar staying true to the state and offering only VT made beverages. All staff were friendly and very accommodating. I can’t wait to book my next trip!

Checked in here today to use as a base camp. It's summer so the ski lodge id not filled up. The room so far seems okay and it has a new full size bathroom. The summer room rates are very good with the 3 day weekend only costing about 312.00 total for the 3 days. We ate dinner in the resturant. Prices for the meals were not too bad with with a mixed drink.

Absolutely top notch hospitality.
Room is great, noting over the top but a good size and great ac.
The restaurant prepared some of the best steak me and my wife have had in a long time!!!
The bar also only serves spirits made in Vermont, that is an awesome touch.
And the lounge is very comfortable and has a great feel to it.
By far the best valued stay we have ever had.

I must say that the upper pass lodge is now one of my favorite places to visit! Even though this is a hotel, it felt more like a bed & breakfast. The people and staff were absolutely amazing and kind especially the owner and operator, Vince. Also the dining room served out of this world delicious meals served with elegance. My favorite by far is the salmon. You have to try it.

Great stay! I was surprised of the old tv but was functional. Wifi is poor, we were on the second floor. Small restroom. I like that they are pet friendly. There is a restaurant and bar. Dinner only. We didn't go so we can't review the restaurant. There is a pool. It is a good place in nature.

Stayed here the night of Thursday, March 3rd, 2022. Everything was great. Room was spotless. The woman (I forget her name) that checked me in and later tended bar was so friendly and helpful. The crowd at the bar was a great mix of locals and tourists that all got along and laughed. Lounge area was cozy with a nice fire and a really cool lady on guitar. Beer was wonderful. Food was great. We will be back for sure.

Clean hotel with a great staff. Great location for Magic Mountain. ALL of the staff are professional, extremely friendly, and seem to really like their jobs. They all work very hard and long hours to maintain the hotel. The General Manager Vince is especially great. He definitely goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is good and that you have everything that you need. I ran into a jam with my truck while I was there and if it weren't for Vince going out of his way in between all of his responsibilities, I would still be broken down. I honestly don't think he sleeps! I would definitely stay here again and look forward to the opportunity. The owner is very lucky to have such a dedicated, hard working, and efficient staff.

I have stayed here many times. Love the management (Vince)
My family held a surprise 60th birthday party for me at the lode and many of my friends and family stayed there. My brothers from out west had a 3 bed 2 bath family unit.
They LOVED it.

A fantastic place to stay. The proprietor, Vince, is an excellent host. Great food and atmosphere. Dog friendly accommodations too. Almost always booked solid on weekends during ski season. Get your reservations early!

Room Price - excellent! Food - really good and VERY reasonably priced. (DO get their breakfast!) Lodgings are clean and adequate, with large cable TV, free wireless, and comfortable bed. Large stone fireplace and inviting couches adjacent to the bar make socializing easy. Wilderness setting at the base of a ski lift, includes an outdoor swimming pool for hot summer days! Staff - super pleasant and eager to immediately accommodate any personal requests. Few places anywhere could make a guest feel more welcome and relaxed. Our stay there is a treasured memory.

We recently spent the weekend at this lodge and it was very impressive. When we arrived we were greeted by the extremely friendly inn keeper who explained the inn, restaurant and local attractions to us. He showed us to our room all the while assuring us that he would be available 24/7 if a need arose. The rooms were clean and smelled fresh and the bed was extremely comfortable after a long drive. The continental breakfast was great and the coffee was freshly roasted and so much better than your typical franchise brand coffee. I would highly recommend The Upper Pass Lodge for anyone who would like a reasonably priced stay with an extremely welcoming staff!

This is a beautiful lodge at an iconic Vermont mountain. I had a clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was delicious and inexpensive. Vince makes great french toast. I ate dinner there as well; it was fantastic. A great staff - warm and friendly and genuinely welcoming. It was perfect; can’t wait for my next visit.

Incredible value with this lodge. Rooms are a bit dated, but all of the staff are extremely friendly and the rooms are clean. Food from the kitchen is delicious and the bar has great local beers & spirits. Perhaps the best part, there is a warm fireplace room with comfy leather couches.

This is a hidden gem! Stayed the weekend to kayak. Snug lodge, accommodating staff, outstanding food & breathtaking surroundings from Lowell Lake to the sunset on Magic Mountain. I’ll be returning in the near future. Thank you for your hospitality Vince!

Solid five stars. Clean, spacious rooms, lovely fireplace lounge, bar, restaurant, all nestled in the mountains. Incredibly accommodating to dogs of all sizes. Friendly, sweet staff. The food was amazing (cheese plate and quesadillas) and equally fabulous cocktails (magic mountain crush and mud season). We would love to visit again.

The ONLY thing that needs to be fixed asap is the beer taps!
The one thing I love doing is coming there and having a beer and it's not cold ever.

The lodge is definitely rustic, but the beds are comfy and the rooms are exceptionally clean.

And I mean spotless.

The staff is also very friendly. We arrived after they closed check-in and the front desk still took care of us very curtiously.

I would definitely stay here again.
