What can I say? This place has blown us away not once, but twice! 🌟 The food here is excellent quality, and it's clear they take their craft seriously. The atmosphere and their attention to details are so unique; they add a special touch to the whole experience. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff—they're super dedicated and make you feel right at home. We're already thinking about when we can make the trip from NYC again! 😄

Friends invited me to join them for Sunday Brunch, called Sunday Dinner at Canal House, and I'm glad they did. It was a very good meal and the service was excellent. Seating options indoors, outdoors on patio, or a limited number of tables on an outside balcony, which is where we ate. In the photos you'll see the Sunday Dinner menu and each of the courses with exception of the Chevre Croustades, which I forgot to photograph as I was too busy eating them! The menu is fixed price and while I'm told there are sometimes options for the main, today's menu and courses were as shown. All the courses were very good, the salmon was perfectly prepared, and the service was spot on. When dishes were brought to the table, two or three wait staff assured everyone was served at exactly the same time. The team approach to servicing the table is something I always appreciate.

The ambiance, the food, the people- Everything was just perfect! The food is incredibly comforting at a high level of execution. One of the best duck preparations we have ever had and a dessert with a surprise inside (ahhh I didn’t take a picture). There is one small minus, I wish this place would of been closer but is definitely worth the trip from NYC!

I just had the absolute pleasure of dining at Canal House Station. The ambience was lovely, service impeccable (thank you Vanessa), and the food was outstanding (thank you Chefs). Looking forward to dining there again very soon!!!

If you think reading and learning from a Canal House cookbook by Melissa & Christopher is a treat, just wait until you actually eat their food! An unbelievable experience from the moment you enter. Chicken sandwich, deviled eggs- thank me later! Can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I enjoyed our 2nd Wedding Anniversary here and we will be back!! The service is impeccable and we tilt our hats to the wonderful Chef's 👨‍🍳 👩‍🍳.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had. With this level of simplicity, there is nowhere to hide. No bombastic sauces or frilly presentations to cover up shortcomings. Just amazing flavors, balanced, delicious. Would eat here again and again!

We love this beautiful restaurant! Every meal here is so special. The menu changes frequently to highlight new foods when they are fresh and in season. The pace of the meal is perfect and the atmosphere in the restaurant is so beautiful. Don't forget to stop and smell the citrus blooming in the lobby in the winter months.

What is also very special to me is that the will accommodate vegetarians. I look forward to coming to this place every time!

Stopped in for lunch and was just blown away. Very interesting venue with a very eclectic menu. We ate outside on a spectacular Spring day. Attentive wait staff. The food was phenomenal. PEI mussels in white wine cream sauce with a hint of fennel for Beth and a roasted beet and bacon salad with haricot verde for me. Both perfect. WE WILL BE BACK.

One of the best restaurants in the area if not the best. We moved to New Hope from New York and I have been consistently disappointed with the the dining options (overpriced, average at best) and this is the first meal we walked away from completely WoWed! Incredible food, ambience, service was top notch and the prices were very fair. They were also beyond accommodating to our 2.5 year old son. 5 stars ⭐

I've eaten here twice so far, and both times were nothing short of magical. The food says fine dining, the atmosphere says warm and cozy.

The staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are more than reasonable. And did I mention the food? Seasonal, flavorful, comforting, zero pretension.

Exceptional dining experience and hospitality. We showed up to dinner in the middle of a torrential downpour, the staff collected our wet jackets and actually dried them for us! One course was better than the next and everything was simply impeccable. This is an absolutely excellent restaurant by all measures. Highly recommended.

The Canal House Station is a standout restaurant in the beautiful town of Milford NJ. The owners are passionate about transforming top quality ingredients into delicious courses. Though best known for their french cooking techniques, they won't pigeon hole themselves. The Mexican themed meal they presented was an exciting and sophisticated mix of textures and flavors that satisfied everyone. It's easy to highly recommend this place!

The canal house station is a must if you are in the Milford/ Upper Black Eddy region. The food is superb! We got the pri fix menu but it was beautifully prepared and everything paired so nicely together. My husband was also pleasantly surprised with the portions so we both went home happy!

I enjoy their Sunday afternoon Dinner so much. The menu is fixed. It's like having a home-cooked meal by one of the best cooks.
Last Sunday the chicken dish featured chanterelles - which were so rich and earthy - umami.j

So excited to have found this gem practically in our backyard! Last night's meal was absolute perfection, from the ambiance, to the waitstaff, and most importantly, the food.
We are already planning our next visit, in the very, very near future.

Honestly, possibly the best restaurant in America. Everything is superlative. Everything. Where else could you get two of the world's best chefs (and cookbook authors) cooking for you themselves? I try to visit from NYC at least once a season. Would go every week if I could!
