Asked for pricing for a new sewer/ water line, was given a quote of around 9k in hook up fees, which seemed like a lot but i paid. Right before I was ready to start they said that did not include the hookup, which my contractor was not allowed to do and charged me an another 17k. This seemed insane, but I'm relatively powerless in the situation so I paid. Recently (more than 6months after completion) they sent me a bill for 900 to finish the costs including all kinds of fees. Throughout this process they refused to give me an actual invoice. Idiots at best criminals at worst.
