CAFÉ Seventy Two

I frequent Cafe 72 for breakfast and lunch I enjoy their signature coffee and tea drinks. The chefs are very good at preparing a meal with a beautiful presentation. The outdoor eating design is pleasant and inviting. I highly recommend this popular Cafe especially for it great coffee of which I enjoy drinking every Sunday on my way to church at Calvary Chapel.

Loved this place and would definitely come back! The breakfast burrito was delicious and so was the french toast! The hash browns/potatoes could have been cooked a little longer, as my hubby and I thought they were just plain old potatoes. BUT overall the place was really good, super cozy, we didn’t have to wait for a table at all and we came on a Sunday at 10am. I will definitely be back!

My spouse and I enjoyed Easter Sunday breakfast together. With reservations in place, we were promptly seated. Our server displayed politeness, attentiveness, and patience throughout. The food arrived quickly, beautifully presented, and tasted delightful. We look forward to returning.

Very cute café. Food was delicious! The chicken and waffles were great. Florentine eggs Benedict was tasty. The caramel latte was incredible!! They offer many gluten free and vegan options. Highly recommend this spot.

BYOB Brunch spot is out of this world. The kids loved whipped cream sprinkle pancakes. The cream was soo sweet it was practically icing! Yum. My pork tostadas were amazing. I'd never had an eggs on top like this. Highly recommend. Huge portions. Also, from those who bring your Boro in Pennington Hash House in Lambertville. Don't forget, BYO(Champagne) 😜

What a find for us! We were visiting our son at school and looked around to find a new breakfast place to try. Read some nice reviews and thought we'd give it a shot. Great ambiance, excellent food, friendly and fast staff. Our food was out very quickly. Everyone loved their meals. We will be back every time we are in the area!

A few coworkers and I decided to venture here. The ambience is wonderful very modern and cozy. The service was excellent. My coworkers raved about the Matcha and cheesecake coffee.

No one was unsatisfied with their food. I had a buffalo chicken wrap with fries which was excellent. We had the lemon donuts with blueberry dipping sauce as an appetizer not bad at all.

Love all the creative options on the menu. So far I've only tried the Rocket Bowl, which has grits, feta, arugula, avocado, and pesto. A delicious combination of flavors, though I noticed there was some micro green that tasted like cilantro that ruined it for me little. Cilantro is the only flavor I just can't stand unfortunately. The rest of the diners in my group enjoyed their meals as well. Great cappuccino too. Look forward to returning to try more from the menu.

One of the fastest order to serve times I have sever times I have ever experienced. Kudos to the chef and serving team, because this was full order as follows:

• Traditional French Toast (Full)
• Banana Walnut Pancakes (Short)
• Scrambled with Cheese
• Florentine
• Carafe of Orange Juice

Great outdoors seating area. The only drawback here is it is right in the street, which means every now and then the street noise (loud car exhaust, horns, etc…) penetrates the quaint and peaceful eating environment.

Reservations are available and from the looks of it a great idea…especially on the weekends and holidays. Seems to be very popular and based on my experience I can fully understand why.

We just went here for brunch as a family. It was crowded so reservations are recommended. The wait time for the food was very fast. The quality of the food was amazing for how fast the food came to our table. My kids loved the pancakes (one had the birthday cake pancakes and the other had the cinnamon roll pancakes). Overall, my kids, husband, and I really enjoyed the food and the place. My kids kept raving about it on the way home and are already trying to plan out when we come back. Highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience for my 50th birthday party! Food was delicious and there was a lot of it! The staff was friendly and very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. The restaurant at night looked beautiful with the lighting.

I loved this place, the food was amazing, I had Cobb omelette, my husband a vegetarian omelette, French toast and a cappuccino, 🤤 everything was delicious. The menu had many vegetarian options which I liked.
The girl who took care of us was nice and helpful. Everyone were so nice, the place was clean and great atmosphere. We definitely will be back.

Me and my family love Cafe 72. The food and service is always on point. I have celiac disease and cannot eat gluten, the staff is knowledgeable about the allergy and there are gluten free/vegetarian items listed on the menu which are extensive! It was very easy to make reservations on the website!

Loved this cute cafe. The food was excellent. Service was great too. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and all the amazing food choices. I definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a nice breakfast or lunch spot with delicious food. The specials menu had awesome choices as well.

The reputation is deserved. After a mediocre dinner the night before, my top tier chums and I needed a comeback for breakfast. I noticed this highly rated establishment not too far from our Airbnb, and that was that. Cafe Seventy Two is on a pretty busy thoroughfare and easy to spot. We stopped by shortly after they opened (that was also a consideration - we looked at a few places in Lambertville but we're unapologetic early birds so if you're not opening your restaurant before 9AM dot dot dot), secured both a parking spot right by the entrance and a table inside quickly. They did have a pleasant looking outdoor area in front too, but the siren song of air conditioning was too strong on this particular morning.

I saw no reason to get cute, and went with my favorite breakfast entrée, the classic Eggs Benedict. Delicious and hit the spot in a way that only happens if you were a bit naughty the prior day with a few birthday cocktails. There was honestly nothing that truly set this apart from the myriad of Benedicts on brunch menus throughout the lands, but it didn't have to be particularly complicated - it was dictionary definition perfection. The home fries that accompanied the dish were excellent as well. At $13, the price point is competitive for the area (especially taking into consideration the Delaware River tourist traps just to the north).

We also continued our breakfast tradition and strategically ordered something sweet to share. This time we selected an option from the specials menu, the lemon ricotta donut holes, which I believe came with a blueberry compote or close to it. Absolutely awesome. Optics-wise we were initially a little confused (I think we were all expecting something more yellow befitting the lemon designation), but once we bit into the donuts, everything made sense. I imagine the key to this item is not overcooking/frying (however donuts are magically prepared for us), and these definitely were not. The texture was excellent, and the compote paired perfectly.

Unsurprisingly, the service was fantastic as well. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, and everything we ordered came out in a timely fashion. We weren't in a rush, but we were still in and out of there pretty quickly. It was starting to fill up a bit as we left, so we may have also been the beneficiaries of an early mealtime.

If you can't wait an extra hour or two to feast on the weekend (or even if you can), this is a strong recommend.

It is such a cute spot with indoor and outdoor seating and the food is equally great ! Service is good too. The amount of food is generous and prices are very okay too !!

Normally I've been to places with awsome bar arrangements for hard drinks, this place fascinated me with such an awsome bar placement for breakfast drinks !

The best part was my cappuccino! I like it super hot and i forgot to mention and they replaced it for me , i honestly felt so good the way they treated.

I tried frech toast and honestly the best ones so far in area. They've a special menu with options to choose for.

If you like sugary stuff, must try the funnel cake fries or cinnamon donuts !

Just reading the menu for Cafe Seventy Two had me so excited for my first visit today. Upon entering, you can tell they truly put their heart into this place. The decor is beautiful and the staff is incredibly friendly. The menu is jam packed with so many interesting and fun items I had a hard time making a choice. I got the Breakfast Bowl with an Oreo Affagato to drink and it was truly the highlight of my weekend. Both were beautiful to look at as well as delicious! Also, highly recommend the funnel cake fries to share with the table - truly heavenly. So glad I discovered this gem and can’t wait to return and try everything else on the menu.

Really tasty! It was a beautiful, breezy day so we sat on the outdoor patio. I enjoyed the Salted Caramel Affogato, which was sweet & salty and had the kick of caffeine I needed. For lunch I ordered the Pulled Pork Delight Grilled Cheese which had peanut butter and chocolate drizzle in it.... Sounds weird but it was delicious! If you're in the area, definitely check out this cafe!

Had brunch here with my mom and husband and we loved it! Highly recommend making a reservation!! The place is very small and popular. The restaurant was very nicely decorated, the service was wonderful, and the food was so good. Highly recommend trying their donuts,so good!
