Yardley Ice House

A local favorite. You have to appreciate a cash-only spot that is twisting custard and slinging fresh water ice. There is a variety of sweets. I want to try their cakes and takeout sometime soon. Until then, a classic cake cone with a vanilla-chocolate twist (and jimmies, always jimmies) is the move. My husband LOVES their gelati!

I love this little store. It's so refreshing to go to a mom and pop store. It is really charming. The water ice is incredible! I had the banana cream pie which was a 10 out of 10. The soft ice cream is very creamy and delicious. It has really good flavor. I would highly recommend a stop here. Bring cash. They don't accept credit cards.

I was hesitant to try water ice, but I'm so glad I did! The flavors are varied and intense, and pair well with soft vanilla ice cream. My favorite flavors are the Orange Creamsicle and the Blue Hawaiian. I wish they had a sampler to try ALL the flavors; there must be at least 50 if you add them all up. Not all flavors are served daily - they have specialities. The only downsides are that there is just one sugar-free flavor (but they have vegan options, which is cool), and that there aren't a lot of places to sit outdoors. I would like to see the parking lot torn up and a grassy park with picnic benches instead, but that won't happen. Anyway, you may need to sit in your car to eat it, but you must go here, and go often! It's a moral imperative.

My family and I love the Yardley Ice house. It’s the best Italian ice around. All of the flavors are so delicious. We particularly love the banana cream pie ice!

Best water ice I've ever tasted! Amazing flavors. I enjoyed a small Mexican brownie water ice so much that I had to order a small chocolate chip banana bread water ice. Both were flawless. My father enjoyed a very thick banana milkshake. Can't wait to return!!

Our favorite shop that offers gluten free and dairy free frozen treats. The staff is friendly, and we enjoy the unique flavors. My favorite is cherry amaretto

Love this place! They have the best water ice around! Prices are reasonable and my kids love all of the choices! Always smiling faces when we walk in. We love sitting outside in the benches and enjoying our delicious treat!

First time here. The water ice was delicious. Highly recommend for a night summer cold treat with the family. Good prices and quick service. Only thing is there is no seating except for like 2 benches so most people eat in there car.

This is the best place in Bucks County for an "anytime" treat. Their water ice is outstanding, especially the "Cherry Bordeaux". Combine that with the soft serve and you have an unrivaled delight that can't be beat. Price point is fair and the staff is amazing.

Wonderful experience! The flavors are fabulous, and it’s hard to pick a favorite. Cherry bordeaux—with dark sweet cherries, Keylime pie- tangy but not too much, with little pieces of cookie crust, chocolate peanut butter cup— creamy chocolate water ice with tiny peanut butter cups; I could go on and on!
The staff is friendly and fills orders as quickly as possible.

We recently moved to the area and discovered this local landmark. So happy that we have a family owned water ice place nearby; they have the BEST flavors. This season, they have ECTO COOLER which is an perfect re-creation of the 80s/90s classic juice box. This place is the best.

Consistently updated selection of homemade gourmet ices in many interesting flavors, good soft-serve, and a friendly staff make this place a perfect little gem just off of Main Street. It's like your classic ice cream stand plus great water ice - exactly what every town needs.

Better than Rita’s! This is the only water ice I get. My favorite is mint chocolate chip, but sometimes I change it up. The soft serve is also delicious. Cash only!

My town has the BEST place for water ice. They have staples that are always on the menu and special flavors that rotate daily, so there's always something new to try. It's cash only, which is annoying, but we love the Ice House so much we keep a mug of dollar bills at home specifically for when we walk down to Yardley Ice House.

Best local water ice spot. My kids look forward to the ice house opening every spring. Strawberry lemonade with vanilla custard is a fam favorite!!!
