They had exactly what I went there for and even something I hadn't planned on finding but needed! The employee knew precisely where to direct me. Don't waste your time at big box stores!!

Very close to my home, so the location is a major plus for me. But in addition: for its size, this is an excellently stocked store. They don't always have what I need, but they are friendly and well-inventoried across most departments. A great alternative to chain stores!

Love this place! A literal toy store of household stuff everyone needs. The staff is super helpful, there are well needed items in every aisle a d parking is easy. They fix screens too! 10/10 recommend.

Surely the best hardware store this side of the Mississippi and North of the Mason Dixon line. Wide selection, great prices and even better service. If you need it, they have it or will get it quickly! Never a bad experience.

Always a good place to stop. Family owned, knowledgeable staff, not as much "stuff" as the big box store, but much less deal, too. They did not have what i went in for (3 door knobs) but they placed an order for me and will let me know when it arrives. They also didn't try to upsell me for something I didn't need

Tommy and Burt are great guys and always make sure you find what you are looking for. They even offer advice on what ever your project is. 100 percent better than Home Depot or Lowes.

W.T.T.V.H. has the best selection and an expansive variety of high quality merchandise at extremely competitive prices. Quite candidly they are very often much lower than their larger impersonal competitors. They are happy to offer priceless advice to assist the "do-it-yourself-er" or the uninitiated with tips and strategies to ensure the achievement of results worthy of or near a professionally skilled level. While it can on rare occasion be somewhat daunting when attempting to locate a few obscure items, they will GLADLY guide and lead you along the direct path. This is a good old fashioned hardware store and NOT one of those big box conglomerates that frequently handle many select proprietary bulk packed or specially manufactured items that use misleading product model prefixes or suffixes added for the express purpose of creating the absolute false ILLUSION of being a fantastic bargain. Short cuts engineered to shave down their costs. Many began with heavy reliance upon "loss leaders" to draw in the crowds, but those days tend to be less frequent. Some of their collective marketing gimmicks amounted to little more than a combination of smoke and mirrors, because they count upon the average consumer never bothering to take a few extra seconds to carefully analyze the entire picture . Sophisticated consumers were unlikely the segment most responsible for their rapid industry growth. In such places one can often wander up and down countless isles without finding a single employee (knowledgeable or not), yet alone hopelessly searching for items they would have you believe that they actually stock -- but never did. Shop West Trenton and you will NEVER be disappointed.

Great place to find items not sold in big stores

The layout of this store is a little crowded, but the staff is extremely friendly and will find exactly what you're looking for. A little more expensive, but much more convenient than shopping at the big-box stores.

One of the last real Hardware Stores. You can actually get quality plumbing parts, electrical and just about anything you can think of. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable!! The store is seasonal. So think Grills and grill parts, grass seed and tiki torches for the Summer. Rock Salt, Snow Shovels and Snow Throwers in the Winter.

They also rent small backhoes, ditch witches, post hole diggers and other large project machinery.

But, the biggest draw is the staff. They will help you find the parts you need. At the big box store you are on your own in a cavernous store searching the isles of cheap imported items.

West Trenton Hardware is the place to go to get a screen replaced, an air filter for your mower or a replacement cord for your old Perc Coffeemaker.

Why guess with Amazon when you can show the counter person the part you need and they will walk you to the item.
