1911 Smokehouse BBQ

Food was delicious, tasty, service was sort of slow because the restaurant was also very busy filling takeout orders. The waiters were professional and very friendly. They seemed short staffed. And, VERY important, restaurant was able to accommodate vegan, vegetarian palates.

First time I visited today & WOW! I had to place a togo order for sides before I left! Everything on my table was a 100/10.
Baked beans being my favorite side(the togo order lol). I 100% will be back theres so much more I want to try !

The chicken and ribs combo was delicious - both were so juicy, but the ribs really stole the show, they were so delicious!

Y’all! This food was so good! We stumbled on this spot while doing a historical tour on a Saturday afternoon. Good music, waiter was super nice, strong drinks and good food portions! I like my ribs falling off the bone but the taste made up for it and they were pretty tender. Also seems to have great vegan options.

My wife and I were searching everywhere for BBQ & came across this place. It was absolutely phenomenal!! The staff was so nice & helpful, super nice with my children, & loved to chat with us. We tried so much on the menu and was not disappointed with a single thing. The pork roll was beyond my expectations, the pulled pork & wings were so good & the rib tips were excellent! Only one thing was the tips were a tad fatty (which isn’t a big deal) but did not ruin my experience at all. The baked beans were super delicious! I highly recommend this place to everyone! Parking is a little iffy but don’t be afraid to get your steps in if you need to walk haha

Parking: We went around 8:30pm on a Saturday. Parking is in front of Starbucks and the walk is less than a minute.

Experience: First off this place is a hidden gem! We felt comfortable from the moment we walked in. The food selection is great. The place is kept up sp nice and clean. And the service was amazing. This was our first time here and definitely not our last. Definitely a date night spot. The music is also a plus it’s a mix of old school and new school r&b. I give them a 10/10 keep up the great work.

Wanted to grab a quick bite & ordered lemon pepper wings + mac & cheese. The wings were excellent and fresh! The mac & cheese topping was slightly overbaked but overall tasted well. Storm was an awesome server/bartender. It was a great way to end a long workday!

The smokehouse has a liquor license, great smoked meats and now, it has its service up to speed for lunch time patrons. Friendly bartender will engage in conversation if your interested. I will go back!

I love this place. The food is excellent, the prices reasonable (airport venue prices accordingly). I have visited all three locations, although I am a regular at their Trenton venue. As a single woman usually on my own, it means a lot to know that -in addition to an excellent gastronomic experience- the staff is always looking out for me. Smoke House is my family away from home. Kudos to all minority owned businesses that thrive in an unforgiving industry. I shall return, over and over!
PS: highly recommend brisket chili, cauliflower crust pizza, siracha cole slaw, potato salad, and chicken sandwich, not to mention the bargains during happy hour!

Went after I didn't feel like driving to Mission BBQ in Philly. Blew it out of the water. Awesome area out back friendly staff and most important food was AMAZING. We got the little bit of everything which should be renamed enough food for everyone and their mother. The chicken was so good. The ribs and brisket were also phenomenal. Sides were amazing and plenty. Will be back for sure.

Outstanding BBQ, large portions. Dry rub on their meats and sauce in the side. Just right we need more places like this in the city of Trenton. Enjoy the food its good the soul, it will put a smile in your face. If you have a gathering, they are ready to cook for you.

We had a large catering order this weekend and our guests were raving about how good it was. Everything was fresh, hot, and so delicious. The staff was super friendly, easy to work with, and took great care of us. Thank you for a great experience.

Delicious BBQ served in generous portions by a friendly staff. There’s a bar with a TV behind the counter, and a clientele of cheerful regulars. 1911 accepts NJ Transit Rewards. A great place to have a meal and spend an evening.

Great food! This was my first time here, i tried the 444 which is where you get 4oz of brisket, 4 wings and 4 ribs or 4oz of pulled pork. The mac and cheese and yams are awesome!Very good service and nice atmosphere.

This is one of those Jem's that you can't miss. Great food, great service, and always a good time. Check out their back patio.. try everything, but right now I've been getting the chicken sandwich.. if you're meeting with friends or brought the family to one of the many great museums in Trenton you can count on this spot to have something for everyone. Try the C rock special!

The best wings and fried rib tips I've had in my life! We tried several flavors and our top choices are Honey Harlem Shake and Lemon Pepper! I would definitely come back here.
