Excellent customer service and knowledge on what the client needs rather than what they think they need! Pricey and totally worth it, as they clearly care about the investment you are making in the shoe. The process was quick, thorough, and taught me that I’ve been wearing the wrong shoes and tying them improperly at that for far too long!

I brought my sensory sensitive son here because I couldn't find any shoes he liked and my friends suggested it. We had an amazing experience. They took their time to listen to what our current issues were, measured his feet with a heat changing step pad that also showed where his arches were sitting, brought out a bunch of options, listened to what he had to say about the feel and fit of each shoe. After what felt like an afternoon (which was actually about an hour), we found a shoe he loves. They have a treadmill you can use to try out your new shoes which really helped seal the deal for my kiddo. We just went back again today for new shoes since he grew more, and again we had an amazing experience. You can't get personalized help like this very often these days, especially when you have sensitivity that most people don't have to live with. I love this place!!! Give them a try!!

We have purchased our running shoes here for years. We have always had excellent customer service and good quality shoes. Reasonable prices and a nice selection
Yesterday, Olivia went above and beyond for us. We purchased a few pairs for a few different family members (different needs for each)
She was so patient and kind. She KNEW every shoe in the store and their details. She fitted me with a pair of Brooks Ghost and I’ll tell you what - these are the best shoes I have ever run in. I realize that she didn’t make the shoes herself but she was so patient and helped me try on quite a few to find the right ones. And she was spot on.
So grateful for outstanding customer service especially in a time where it is so rare

I've been a customer of since 2003. Just yesterday I purchased three more pairs for myself (two NB880s and one Asics Gel Cumulus), plus one pair for my daughter who lives in Cleveland (Asics Gel Cumulus) and plus one pair for my daughter who lives in New York (Saucony Kinvara). Adriana provides excellent detailed consultations on initial fittings and on the many subtle, sometimes very important, changes that can occur with a given make/ model from year to year. This store is the best and a very valuable resource for runners.

I have gone here to get running shoes for the past 8 years and I have had largely good experiences. If you are looking to get fitted for new shoes,
I recommend calling ahead and asking if Gar will be in. Gar is a very experienced runner and coach and is very insightful in helping you find the best shoe for your style, competence, and price point.

They got me what I needed, not what I wanted. Legit 5 star.

So I went onto Brooks website, and decided on a really cool shoe.
I spoke to Adriana about it, and she asked more questions about where I run, my current shoe, etc. Turns out I needed a different kind of shoe that was less $$$ and much better for my situation. They also have been very accommodating during the Covid-19 fiasco.

Worth the trip! I had to get track sprinting spikes for my daughter for school. Tried looking everywhere online but couldn't find what we needed when we needed it. Also concerned about getting the right shoe in the right size. Drove the 35 minutes or so to Up & Running & came out with a great shoe that fit perfect & was the right shoe for the right job. Sales was wonderful & accommodating. Ended up with a mens shoe which I never would have thought, in a size that I never would have ordered. I have learned now that there are definitely situations for a brick & mortar store & this is it. Well worth the drive & the price was a little less than other places. Will recommend and definitely use again in the future for all track and/or running needs.

Great service, wonderful staff. The owner is very friendly and well-informed on running. Good prices on many things-the shoes I buy are the lowest price I have been able to find them-including on the internet.

I was having problems with shin splints. They helped me find the exact fit running shoe that immediately corrected this problem. It was a little cheaper than buying online or at a major retailer too.

Up N Running has a wide selection of fine athletic wear. This store is also staffed by knowledgeable employees who will custom fit your shoes for your feet.

Quick place to find the right shoe for the person that doesn't know what shoe to wear for their run, walk, dog-walk or running on field turf after a bunch of athletes. If you're looking for Nike, this is not your place, but Brooks, Saucony, Mizuno, Asics . . . you are good to go, along with whatever roller your quad/glute/hammies/it can stand.
