Great Mexican food and environment! Wasn’t expecting such a nice arrangement inside, its big and plenty of seating space. The food was great, and many options to pick from! I found r-bone steak, a rare find anymore! Price is okay, but they have great lunch deal up to 2:30 pm.

Very cool atmosphere. Authentic food for sure. They give you chips & salsa while you are browsing their HUGE menu! They also got authentic Mexican alcohol beverages too. The chicken in their burritos are AMAZING. Not hard to chew, and seasoned to perfection. When they say their burritos are mouth watering they are not joking! Will definitely be back. The staff are super friendly too. Highly recommend and could give more than 5 stars if I could. I hope this business stays around for a long long time!

DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE OF GOING ANYWHERE ELSE IF YOU'RE VISITING STATE COLLEGE!! This place has excellent service and food, I got the burrito cancun and margarita and they were delicious. There's a reason they've been voted the best Mexican place in State College!

The food was delicious! I only wish that they had included utensils and napkins in the order. I also requested corn tortillas but they gave me flour(I'm allergic to gluten so this was a bummer) thankfully I caught it before I started eating them.

Chips and salsa (10/10): Such a great starter. The salsa was so flavorful. And the chips were warm and crisp. Loved this!

Fajitas Texans (10/10): Really good. Steak and shrimp were cooked perfectly. Lots of flavor. And the guacamole salad was good.

Always a treat! Diverse menu, fast service. Consistent in quality. The prep is excellent: when a dish has chicken, it's carefully trimmed clean, no fat or gristle. A+

Rey Azteca is our go-to spot for Mexican food! The service is fast and friendly. The Margaritas are really good. The salsa is fresh and has such a great taste. And everything is made with simple authenticity. Exactly what good Mexican food is about.

Friday night at 6:00 it was busy but they were still able to take us back right away. Wait staff was friendly and prompt. Chips and salsa were given as we sat down and they were really yummy. My food was prompt and very tasty.

I have been to quite a few Mezican restaurants. My favorite was in Noth Dakota ( no longer there). I have compared all others to this one. Rey Azteca is the only one that is so very
much like it. I have found my new favorite. Love the atmosphere, decor, service, and food.

The food was delicious and the service was great! Already looking forward to my next visit to Rey Azteca. Extensive menu and everything my party had was really tasty. Good portion sizes too - my lunch portion was plenty for a dinner meal!

The only negative is the restrooms - they are in dire need of a really deep scrubbing, or even better, a renovation.

We stopped for a quick dinner and was surprised with how great the decor was. Very festive and Christmas music on. We were seated right away. We had a taco salad, tacos, vegetarian#12 (bean enchilada, spinach quesadilla and rice). All were great.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant ever in this area. If I could give it more stars I would. The food is always on point and delicious. The service is always fast and friendly. It is always clean and I love the atmosphere/decorations. My kids love it too! The price is very reasonable. I would highly recommend to anyone who loves Mexican food!

Great genuine Mexican food. As someone from the South, I can happily say it tasted just like home.

Anything you order from this place is awesome. I recommend the Burrito Al Pastor.

After a long day of hiking we decided to hit our favorite State College area Tex Mex joint. As always we were greated at the door and taken to our table right away. Right away our server, Kyle D, was there to get us started with drinks and answer a few questions we had. We have had Kyle as a server before and he is always on point. After a few minutes of talking with Klyle we placed our order. I usually get fajitas but wanted to switch it up and got 3 tacos, tacos de camaron, which were absolutely delicious. I will definitely be getting those again. All in all my wife and son were very pleased with our meal, and Kyle is always a pleasure to have as our server. Hopefully we will be back very soon. Thanks for making our dinning experience a great one
