Wexford Medical Practice

I've been using this practice for over 25 years as my PCP. My doctor recently retired and was assigned a new doctor; Dr A. O'Donnell who, like my previous doctor, Dr. Stroud, took the time with me on all my visits. Dr. O'Donnell is a very good listener and asks all the right questions. I feel she really cares about my well-being. She is much younger so I expect she will be my doctor for quite awhile.

Dr. Florian has been my PCP for over 30 years now, going back to the days when he was with Health America in their office on McKnight Road. I could not have made a better choice for primary care, nor could I envision any reason to switch doctors, other than his retirement. He takes time with all his patients, is a great listener and is able to instruct and suggest without lecturing. Being that he takes the time he needs with every patient means that on occasion a 1:00 appointment means getting into the exam room at 1:15 or so, but that's no big deal, because he never rushes through a patient.

The staff is wonderful, too. Especially Betsy, who is the staff member whom I interact with the most. She is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

(This is the edit). I have had an appointment since I posted this (Just routine, I'm fine) and Dr. Florian has informed me that he is retiring as of the end of January. (Side note...I had no idea previously, but back when I enrolled in Health America and became one of Dr. Florian's patients back in 1986, I was one of the handful of his very first patients.) That said, I will continue to be a patient at Wexford Medical. There have been occasions on which I've seen two of the other doctors there...Drs. Miller and Raub. Both of them provide the same excellent level of service that I've had from Dr. Florian all these years, both also have the same calm, patient, low-key approach that appreciate so much with Dr. Florian and both of them are also wonderful about taking time with each patient and not rushing through an appointment.

If someone is moving into the area, or are looking for a new physician, I would have absolutely no misgivings in recommending Wexford Medical Practice to them.

Dr. Conaway is thorough, extremely knowledgeable and kind. Office staff have always been accommodating, courteous and professional. They've been my PC for more than 15 years. Highly recommend.

Dr. Wittman is the best. I can't speak highly enough of her. Betsey is also fantastic.

Been with them for years. The entire staff listens and responds quickly to any needs that arise with my family.

I love Dr. Raub! She is amazing, kind and patient. I have even recommended her to several of my friends and will do the same here.
However, the staff when you call in is often rude. You can often hear there huffing while on the phone. They show little empathy and make you feel like you are bothering them. It’s very disappointing to know that such an amazing doctor has people with poor patient skills on the front lines.

Felt even worse after seeing Dawn. I have never left doctor office in tears! While I feel like she genuinely thought she was helping, She should have had my lab work run again for Thyroid instead of Lyme. I won't make the mistake of seeing inexperienced Dawn over endocrinologist again. She needs more Medical training and communicative experience dealing with patients! Condescending with an inability to listen.

Doctor doesn't care and entire staff is rude.
