Centre County Assistance Office

It's always very easy to get the help you need. There's not much of a line so you don't wait very long. You get in and out and go on with your day. Pretty stress-free place to go.

Everybody has their own experience. I have been here twice and received outstanding and caring service both times. Went above and beyond what they needed to do to solve my problems.

Couldn't be more thankful

I had sat on phone, on hold, for over one hour before finally deciding to hang up. As someone who works in customer service I find this absolutely appalling.

Calling this place is atrocious. Ive been on hold for 45 minutes, I am still on hold, and am fearful for when someone picks up as they are ALWAYS mean.

What a joke. The entire staff needs to be fired. They're absolutely worthless!

I don’t know whom I just spoke with but I was literally shocked on how unprofessional and aggressive this lady was over the phone. I received a phone call and decided to answer, this lady claimed to be from the Centre county assistance office. When I answered her she was extremely rude from the start, did not greet me in anyway but instead accused me of not reporting important information which I did 2 months ago lol. She got extremely upset when I wouldn’t give her my personal information which I thought was rather not important since I was told I was not assigned a case worker and I am going through a hole nother county. She seemed extremely upset when I told her I have to go through Blair since I am no longer in centre, that apparently made her blood boil and cut the conversation and said”k, go through them then that’s your choice” when that is what I have to do. So happy me and my daughter are not assigned to centre county . It would have been miserable for us, These people need to start getting off the right side of the bed and treating us like how they lid to be treated

Teresa who gave you your job? They need to know how you treat people. This lady needs to lose her job. she’s taking food stamps away in a pandemic. You’re not doing a great job Teresa. You are a bad person and should be fired.

Very poor communication and attitudes. I’ve had to call the state reps office to help me just get through to them after a bad accident. Sent them all the correct info then they filed everything wrong and were displeased I have to resend because they didn’t collect correct info in the first place.

Disgraceful attitude by these pen-pushers on power trips over the phone. Serious customer service training needed.

Very rude people! They ALWYAS lose forms. Not just my experience, many people who have gone through this assistance office have had similar issues! Very bad out together office!

No help, hung up on me the first 2 times because they said they couldn't hear on their end, and then the caseworker hasn't been in the office.

Theresa should not be in this line of work, no communication skills and very rude, not just to me but my doctor in Danville !!!!!!! Very disappointed with Pennsylvania assistance!!!!!!

Losses paper work all the time. Does not listen to what you tell them.
