This is from my perspective as both a consumer and a volunteer:

From my volunteer experience, it can be chaotic at times but I've always felt the heart ship for the common goal in mind. Often times I have met some of the most wholistic people in my life volunteering. With a rotating door of different people in and out I am impressed with how well it comes together. Working in new construction for a for profit builder this is already a huge challenge much less being a non profit

As a consumer, I have had a great time in the reStore. I've bought several things from there and as a first time home buyer it really has made a difference for me. Staff is incredibly nice and if you're looking you'll find something pleasant you weren't expecting

We have furniture to donate, so we called and asked if they pick up and they would. Needed roughly two weeks before they got here which was fine and had no issues taking the furniture. We have donated other items here before and they were very happy and appreciative.

I have had a few items to donate to the Habitat for Humanity of Chester County Re-store and the process was easy - just an email with photos of the items, then a schedule for pick-up at my home. It was efficient, the people were very nice to deal with, and I was glad that someone would be able to use the items which were in very good condition. Habitat is a wonderful organization helping people help themselves to have a home of their own.

We had several pieces of furniture to donate. The folks at Habitat for Humanity were a pleasure to work with. Scheduling the pick up was easy, we received frequent updates and clear instructions for the pick up, and the crew showed up right on time. They quickly removed the furniture with no damage to it or our walls. Highly recommend donating.

We had a great experience donating our couches to Habitat for Humanity. They were prompt with their responses and kept in touch with us regarding the day, approximate time, and exact time that they would get to our house for pick up. I would definitely recommend.

The both gentlemen who came to pick up my donation on September 29, 2023 in West Chester were very friendly and helpful. They were respectful to me, my home, and knowledgeable about their services, and additional resources in the community. I will definitely use them again for donations.

The gentlemen who came to my place to pick up the furniture were first class. They were kind, friendly, and customer service oriented. And they showed appreciation for me donating my stuff…very rare to see employees doing this hard work display such kindness and appreciation.

I had items no longer needed but nearly new and Habitat scheduled a pick up and promptly picked them up so they could continue helping someone else. The staff was very nice and friendly.

I enjoyed volunteering with Habitat for Humanity of CC. I was able to help clean up a site in preparation for part 2. So cool to see families enjoying their homes, and imagining what will come next! I participated with my company, and thought it was awesome to do that with colleagues. No matter what your experience level, volunteering with H4H is awesome. Thanks CC for your hospitality and visiting us during our lunch break.

I donated large furniture pieces. The gentleman who picked it up were very nice and efficient. So friendly. It was picked up the day I was told and at a time in the middle of the day.

Always a great experience and professionalism when they come and pick up a donation. The turn around time is great once I submit a photo and they choose a date that works for me.

Habitat for Humanity of Chester County is an incredible nonprofit organization. They are well run from the top management down to the field managers. I am fortunate enough to participate on their board and on some of their teams. I was also fortunate to do a build day at one of their sites. It is heartwarming to see organizations like this that provide housing for those in need. I'm proud to be part of this organization.

Habitat staff were friendly, courteous, punctual and professional. It was good to know that the furniture donated would be put to good use rather than ending up in a landfill.

Always a positive experience.I love their special father's day and mother's day programs where for a contribution you get the names carved in a new house two by four.
