The best chicken marination in the area..period

I have been coming to this place for many months now. The main attractions here are varieties of marinated meat (chicken) and their restaurant food quality and quantity. The prices for the quality and quantity are great. The marinated chicken variety matches many types of taste buds, medium spicy to spicy... The kabaabs are amazing too, one of our favorites.

The seating area is a plus in case you want to eat in.

The people working here are friendly and polite while service customer.

All I can say is WOW! This is hands down the best place for Goat Biryani that I've ever had! I was SOOO surprised at how much food I got! It was really worth the money! Everything was perfect! Highly HIGHLY recommend!!

The food was fantastic! We got the butter chicken and the chicken tikka masala it comes with rice. Wow !!! The chicken was fall apart tasty. The people were very nice!!! Also the store the had was wonderful and we got some really nice masala chai tea!! Y’all need to have more stars. Your restaurant is severely underrated. This was a great place.

Good service! Harjith Singh and all other staff is kind and courteous! All kind of meat is available and they cut it to your liking! Their chicken seekh kabab, samosa and purian are very good!

I arranged last minute surprised party for my sister’s birthday, I called SHAGUN PALACE AT 10am and requested him if they can arrange 6 differently varieties of food for 30 people by 1:00 pm on same day. I was so worried about the time and taste because of last minute call, but when I reached the Shagun and taste the food I was very happy, and all my guests in the party enjoyed the food and took the contact information of the restaurant from me, I am very confident from now on all my family parties and special occasions and my family friends occasion will definitely order catering from Shagun. I am so thankful to the store for providing me best taste and quality food for my party. Excellent taste, Excellent service, fresh and hot, best quality, Awesome quantity.

EDIT: After years of growing culturally and reflecting upon myself as a person, I take back my previous one-star review. I am so deeply sorry to Shagun Palace. I am from a very rural part of NEPA, and I had a very inaccurate idea of what authentic cultural meals looked like back when this review was written. Since then, I have traveled the world, learned new languages, and met amazing people. I have been back to Shagun Palace many times afterwards and it is always fantastic, and the staff is super kind. I will leave my original review below as a homage to my humility, and all I ask to people before they post something negative is... have I been to this country? Do I know someone from this country? Do I trust my eyes, among the billion of eyes in the world? Do I trust my tongue, among the billion of tastebuds in the world, to tell me what a good meal is?

"Absolutely horrible. All my chicken curry was huge bones and cartilage. Looked like boiled scraps. So disgusting I had to throw it away. Didn’t come with rice either. I was so hungry all day. Please all I want is my money back. Spent 20 dollars for delivery of large bones in curry and a drink no rice."

I am surprised by the lower reviews in here but I extremely happy with my dinner here. I had chicken samosas and matar paneer and naan, everything was fresh and high quality, the restaurant was very clean (just picked up there, didn't dine in), the staff gave polite and fast service, the menu is unique for this area and the prices can't be beat. Definitely going to order again soon, thank you Shagun!

This place is really good. They offer halal meat options and offer a variety of tasty dishes. Although it currently only offers takeout due to COVID-19, but they also do catering. I love their kebabs and the biryani is amazing too.

If haven’t tried yet, I highly recommend. The food here is awesome and the chicken over rice is very tasty

This place is a hidden gem. In the butcher shop they have sit down and taken out food. You can shop in the grocery next door while your food is being prepared. If you like Indian food you have to get in here.

Very good quality food. Beaf/ Chicken kababs are delicious.

My Friend Ordered masala dosa, it was really good, as of now this is the best dosa which I tasted in USA.

The food was soooooo good. I still don't know exactly what a Kabab is but I can tell you one thing... It's DELICIOUS

I just moved to Exton PA. The Indian restaurants here are very highly priced. A vegetarian buffet is about 16 dollars. I found Shagun's food quite decent and very reasonably priced. I would strongly recommend this place. Apna Bazaar adjacent to the restaurant is the best for groceries.
