The Hardware Center

We have visited this old fashioned hardware store since arriving in town a few years back. It has the perfect balance of items we’d ever need - including many practical ones most don’t carry. Some of the staff have been here for decades and all most accommodating. This was from our recent holiday visit - a Christmas display they commence work on in September each year.

Good local hardware store. Very helpful staff. There is a downstairs with a lot more stuff. Good for getting specific nuts and bolts

Awesome old school hardware store. Nice grill center in the summer and an awesome Christmas store during the season. And very helpful employees all year long! Good place to get your screens fixed. They do a good job of taking care of you.

Where do you go when you need to fix something but not sure what you need? The Hardware Center! The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable!! And, their Christmas Store this time of year is fantastic!

Wonderful people working there. Sometimes going to the local True Value is the best thing you will do all week. Great toy section upstairs. Hardware and household items on the other floors. Personal attention, great prices. I'll be coming back.

This is the best hardware store! They will help you find what you need. They even have the batteries for your key fob. They fix lamps!

This store is amazing! Sales clerk very helpful! Prices very reasonable. Selection very good! Bought one item priced $2.00 less than same item at A_ _ Hdwr in P'ville! Bought several over door hooks that I have been looking for!

I went into store a half hour before closing. I was greeted immediately upon entering. I needed batteries for my two smart keys. The gentleman who waited on me retrieved the batteries and installed them for me. All this for less than 7 dollars and 20 minutes.

The best staff and the best stuff. I get my tomatoes, cucumbers, and fresh strawberries here rather than the grocery store (fresher and better prices). I get everything here rather than purchasing from Amazon. I also get my fancy liquid soap here, birdseed, pots and pans, cleaning supplies, and painting materials. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They also keep tissues and hand sanitizer at the entrance, which I appreciate due to my weakened immune system. They really do care about their patrons and that makes all the difference!

What puts this hardware store above others is the knowledgeable and helpful staff. I had spent a ton of time at multiple Home Depots and Lowes trying to find the right pipe fittings for a plumbing project and no one was ever able to help me. Within a minute of entering this store someone who actually understood the different types of fittings was there to help me, figured out what I needed, and knew where to look. It turned out I already had what I needed so I didn’t end up buying anything, but because of this interaction I’ll be going here for all of my future hardware needs. It was so refreshing to feel confident that I was getting accurate information from a hardware store employee.

Old school hardware store. Found exactly what I needed in less than 5 minutes. A clerk asked me what I needed and BAM!- It was in my hand. Top notch, old school, ageless, and sooooo much nicer of an experience compared to the massive hardware stores. I didn't have to find a clerk-he found me. I didn't have to walk 350 yards. When I gotta have it quick, these small places are the only place I'll go. Great place!

My go to place for all of my quick small plumbing jobs. The gentleman at the store even offered to dismantle a part off my old hose so I could still use it and not have to replace all of it. Amazing customer service!

They usually have what I want at about the same price as Home Depot or Lowe's - sometimes even less - without the driving.

If you live in or near Paoli, this really should be your first stop before driving all the way to one of the Big Boys...

Full disclosure: my father owns this business but it truly is an awesome place. If you need help fixing something there is always someone available who knows what they are talking about. Beats the hell out of wandering around the big box stores. And all the merchandise is quality parts not the cheap stuff.

Great place to shop, three floors of product. If they don't have it, you don't need it.

You pay a little more due to their size and staff. But this place is great. Knowledgeable staff can help you with anything. Worlds greatest tomatoes. Crazy expensive but i dont care, im addicted.
