Little Harry's

A fantastic restaurant with a menu to satisfy anyone's cravings! Went for the first time tonight thanks to a birthday gift card for our trip to VT and so glad we did! Service was fabulous, food was better than we expected, and the restaurant is cozy and inviting. Gets busy so make a reservation esp for later (630/after) dining, worth a wait if there is one! Thank you for a great meal!

Inside it resembles a classy pub or tavern, and it offers a large variety of wine and mixed drinks. The hot cider and rum had a nice spicy kick to it. Dinner included a salad and two varieties of bread (cornbread and presliced French bread or baguette) with whipped butter; brought to our table before the main course. The salad had a nice variety of vegetables in it, and the dressings on offer were eclectic - I ordered sweet and sour Thai and quite enjoyed it.

My mom liked but didn't love her pad thai. I had the pan-blackened catfish, with a nice crispy outside and a soft flaky inside. It was a marvel of chemistry, really, and the combo of textures with the fruit salsa on top was great. My one gripe was that I wish the seasoning had more of something like cayenne or paprika. As it was it didnt have that savory-spicy kick I expected.

Key lime pie was awesome. No complaints there. The graham cracker crust in particular was perfect, moist but flavorful.

If I lived around here I'd definitely go again.

Absolutely the best restaurant in Rutland area......hands down....no competition! I'm STRICT Gluten free and Jack, the owner/bartender, always accommodates My GF dietary restriction by modifying dishes and having the kitchen know that it should be GF. I have never had a problem and I eat there frequently. Little Harry's is like a NYC style restaurant but here in Rutland Vermont. My personal favorite is the pork parmesan with rice and upgrading the salad to a Greek salad....yum!

Amazing in every way! We celebrated our anniversary here tonight. Jack came out to talk to my husband about what kind of drink he would like. Our server, Ryan, was so attentive but not overly so. He knew just when we needed him. The food was out of this world! We got the appetizer scallops, spicy and extremely flavorful. The duck entre was the best we've ever had. It's been a long time since we've been out for a meal and have been this impressed. Every detail, right down to the salad, with all homemade dressings, and side vegetable was superb. It's almost worth the 3 hour drive from home to eat here. Thank you guys for such a wonderful and memorable evening!

We got the hot apple cider with rum which was beyond decadent and the garlic bread which was basically like the most delicious grilled cheese sandwich. The eggplant parm and meatballs and ravioli and were both so good! Would highly recommend this place!

We ordered the duck and the filet, both cooked perfectly and decent sized for the price. Cocktails made perfectly and great mussels for an appetizer (a little spicier than expected). This place is definitely comparable to a higher end establishment in a large major city. A great find for a small town!

Eclectic is right. The menu is very large and has a bit of everything on it. All the food was freshly prepared and excellent. Portions were just right, so we had a little room to enjoy dessert. The wine and beer lists were both really nice. Service was attentive and friendly.

Quality food & Service. First time here; my son & I celebrated our birthdays. Five people, five selections; fish, meat & chicken plates. All well presented, prepared and fully enjoyed by all. Not on the cheap but worth it. Would return, will recommend.

Great bread. Service was really friendly Isabelle was our server she was great! Lobster stuffed mushrooms were really excellent . Calamari was crispy and not chewy the sauce was different than traditional but good. Steak was cooked properly.

This is hands down the best restaurant in Rutland (I was here for a few weeks and tried most all). I love that meals come with a salad and bread, and definitely recommend "upgrading" to the Greek salad. We initially found the menu a bit perplexing at first glance, as it's electric with obvious Thai influence, but when the food comes out, oh man! So good! The stuffed Duck is to die for, salmon delicious, pork chop phenomenal. Round it out with great service and a good selection of wine, what more can you ask for. This is just one of those places you'll come back to again and again whenever you're back in this town.

Cozy little spot with several great vegan options. I got the Pad Thai & it was absolutely delicious! The waitstaff were warm & attentive.
I'll definitely visit again if I'm in the Rutland area 😊

Went to little Harry's for dinner on Friday night and we were lucky enough to find an open table when we got there. The ambiance was friendly and cozy, the service was wonderful. I had the grilled duck breast and it was fantastic. The cornbread was also phenomenal.

Little Harry's is always a great place to go for very good food and very good service. We go there several times a year. They're always crowded so make a reservation. We were lucky to get seats at the bar. Highly recommended in Rutland.

The duck was simply amazing. There was homemade applesauce and homemade cranberry sauce which was so good. Even the summer squash was a step above. Ryan was a very attentive server and Jack came from behind the bar to make a suggestion for a special cocktail. I wish we lived closer so I could try everything on their menu.

Signature vermont ambiance and dishes. The meal was delightful the whole way through. The bread was delicious, the salads were made with homemade dressings, the appetizers were varied and well done, the entrees were cooked to perfection, the deserts were splendid, and the house cabernet was mellow and pleasant. For the entree we had the half duck which was excellent. It came with corn bread stuffing, among other fixings, which were all scrumptious. Additionally, the service was excellent, and the dishes reasonably priced.

Wow. These folks get it all right. Tasty dishes. Great drinks. Friendly staff. The owner is a great guy and really wants all customers to have a great experience. I like the size too. Not to big. Cozy. Being an out of towner I could see the locals loved this place. Don’t miss it.

We were lucky to grab a high top on a busy night without a reservation - glad we did! Food was excellent. Lots of variety and seasonal specials on the menu.

Excellent service, food & atmosphere! The green curried mussels are a MUST!! The house made salad dressings are tasty, my personal favorite is the sweet & sour thai. The rotating specials are always interesting as delicious!!
