Baxter's American Grille

Went here for dinner on New Years Eve. Not super busy, but very clean and quaint inside. We had to wait for another couple nearly 40 minutes and the waitress never once rushed us, she was actually very sweet and funny and provided an AMAZING atmosphere for all of us!
Would give 10 stars if it went that high!

Good food, pretty nice atmosphere and very nice service. Worth to eat there. We came from Germany and wanted to eat somewhere, where it looks and tastes typically American. And Baxters definitely the place to go!!! 😊

This has been a family favorite for my whole life. My grandfather used to come here all the time, trying to carry on the tradition when I come back to visit. Their employees are very friendly and the service is great.

What a sweet restaurant! Gives off diner vibes but with a casual bistro feel. Very family friendly. There's something on the menu for everyone! Good, tasty dishes. We had the chicken sandwich and their special of the day, eggplant parm. Great, easy dinner! And our waitress was super friendly!

I love going to this place Friday night . With a good friend of mine. We have a great Time to. The food is great the Prime rib is excellent The drinks are poor just right Patrick is a great bartender I look for going there Elise Twice a month . it's a really great time. You must go there for dinner. The Food is excellent

Best place I have ever eat in the USA!

I went here for dinner with my daughter. The food was excellent! Our waiter was very kind and made sure we had everything to make our dining experience top notch. To our surprise, there was an awesome band playing and we ventured into the bar area. As crowded as it was the waitress got me a drink in a mattsr of minutes. The people were so warm and our night couldn't have been better! Crows Feet was the band but they had guest players and guest vocalist that nailed every song they played. Definitely going back to this friendly place!

A great neighborhood place with a friendly casual atmosphere. I had the French Dip sandwich which was excellent.

Delicious food. Friendly, attentive staff. Nice chill music to calm the mood. A very positive dining experience. The batter on my chicken and fries was so good.

This place is the best. Good service. Good food. Good prices. They really have all three. My family and I have been coming here for here. Every Sunday. Try the filet mignon 8 oz medium! Its amazing.

Great food and welcoming atmosphere. Theres a nice bar where you walk in and a large dining room off to the left. I've had dinners and lunches and have never been disappointed. Service has been courteous, efficient and friendly. The beef philly cheesesteak I ordered the other day with fried onions is one of the best I've ever had- including any I've ordered in the city. Baxter's is highly recommended!

A breath fresh air after the previous disappointment!

Have been trying to get my better half to try Baxters for a couple weeks, but she does said its just a regular bar food type of food and not at all "honest food" ( meaning not home cooked/everything frozen ) so I decided to take myself there instead and find out for myself.

Went lunchtime on 5/2 intending to work while I was there.

Great points to note:

Walked in, not overly impressed with decor, seemed old - but not bad enough to walk out.

Greeted by host, a young gentleman, very accommodating and pleasant. I asked about wi-fi and he told me how to find it. He asked me where I wanted to sit and offered a quieter place in the back.

Waitress came up promptly, very personal and professional and offered some great suggestions.

Food and drinks came out quickly. ( Ordered Prime Rib Sandwich ) it was very tasty, fresh and I have to tell you. I thought it was "honest"

Im not one for writing reviews. But I can't think of anyway they could have improved. Maybe the owners can put in the budget to decorate a bit? But thats all.

To Sum Up....
Great Lunch, Great Spot with friendly and attentive staff.

Quizzo on Tuesday night is a lot of fun!

It's a really great time. You must go there for dinner. The food is excellent here.
