Love this place! Went here for the first time and the historic atmosphere is real! Love being up on the mountain! -The Old Heads

So welcoming and very high spirits. Great people and wonderful coffee to start out your day for a grand adventure.

Stopped by on way back to VA. What a great place to sit outside and have a wonderful lunch. Staff are great people. Missed breakfast by a couple of minutes but will be back in area for breakfast because it looked fantastic and yummy. Had my breakfast today 10/01 and it was great. What a way to spend a wonderful day outside patio. Do not miss this place. If you are in area please check it out, you will not be sorry. Again stop today 10/27 for lunch. Posted photos go for it.

Cafe 101 is an amazing breakfast spot! You get great views of the Boiling Springs Lake, pretty good food, and a nice outside atmosphere! The regular breakfast food is good, prices are affordable!

Where cafe 101 really excels is the Mexican dinner options they have. They are full of flavor and a ton of great options!

Lots of American / Mexican menu choices at fair prices. My reuben was piping hot and delicious! Nice and clean with a lovely patio.

Our visit was great. We were offered to choose our seats and the food was delicious 😋 We plan to visit for dinner 🍽 hrs before we leave town.

A great Mexican restaurant that has a lot more. Outside seating is available under a canopy and lights. Across from the newly redone Boiling Springs lake. A very pleasant little town. People are friendly and the food was great. Right along the Appalachian Trail.

Absolutely love the freshly made foods here at Caffe 101. You can eat outside or inside. Lately they’ve been short on wait staff, so if you haven’t made a reservation, you may have to wait about 25 minutes for a table. Their fruit smoothies are out of this world, Vanilla milkshake delicious, and of course the fresh-brewed flavored (or unsweetened!) iced tea is a thirst quencher. Highly recommend.

The mocha latte was better than anything Starbucks has ever done. The sandwich was delicious, my wife loved the grilled chicken salad. Service was friendly, but slow. We'll go back and breakfast next time. Looked like it would be really good.

Had the Ceasar salad. It was good. Service was great. Can't wait to go back when I have more of an appetite because they have a nice menu. Love that they are open on Mondays because a lot of restaurants are closed.

Great little local spot in Boiling Springs. The food is good and very flavorful, the service is good and the coffee is good. Food comes out fast and the the customer service is always friendly. Great patio area.

Great service! While even short staffed, they do an amazing job serving and seating people. They serve authentic Mexican food that I drive miles to get. Being a small business in a small town is difficult, but they make it look so easy! People should be more appreciative that they are open even during a pandemic, unlike some places who remained closed. Even without a hostess, the waitresses help people with drinks, ice cream, and serving food. I’ve dined in multiple times and have been greeted and made sure I was always helped. A small business like Caffe 101 shouldn’t be treated like a fast food establishment when their food is fresh and filling. If you don’t like the way they do things maybe you should try TacoBell instead, and not ridicule a small business :)

So during a hike we rambled into Boiling Springs. This café which was more of a nice sit down restaurant was very accomidatiting to supply us all with the caffeine we needed. The service was fast the coffee perfect what more could one want.

Delicious! Great location too, right on Children's Lake. I love to eat on the patio. We ate breakfast here. Try the Eggs Benedict Florentine. It's Amazing! Perfectly cooked and spiced. I also enjoyed a chai latte.

My sister & I stopped at Cafe 101 for lunch. We were seated immediately & our server was very attentive & friendly.
The blueberry salad & open-face portobello mushroom sandwich were excellent. The lattes were yummy. I look forward to going again sometime soon.

I'd give this place a 20 star review if I could!! I'm not sure where to start, the view from the patio overlooking the river & abundant wildlife, the perfectly decorated interior or the amazing food! You must try a muffin! The split it, toast it to perfection & butter it! Sooooooo good! I guess I would have to say the best thing about this place is the mother/daughter (they look more like twins!) duo who serve you. Just on top of EVERYTHING! Iveth was our server & the girl was on it! Took care of everything we needed before we needed it!🤣🤣 They both have the most pleasant attitude & demeanor I have ever seen as a server. Amazed that this mom/daughter team works so well together. DO NOT DRIVE BY THIS PLACE! You will be missing something wonderful.

Hiking through here on the Appalachian Trail. What a pleasant morning we had. With outdoor seating and located next to a stream/pond you could not ask for a better atmosphere. Everything we ate was delicious. One thing I particularly enjoyed was the potatoes. They were not covered in oil. You could really taste the potato. Not sure how they do it, maybe baking? Anyway, stop by here and enjoy the fair.

Wow this little caffe is amazing I highly recommend it. So delicious !! Mexican food at it's finest in the new pics fried cod and grilled steak tacos 🌮 😋 yum. They had some staffing changes and I wasn't impressed with the demeanor of my waitress, a really young blonde girl. Food was great as usual.

The Western omolette was amazing, I will definitely be back to try their lunch or dinner.

This is the place! Seems like every hiker, biker, and runner stops here for refreshment. AND for good reason! They offer a nice selection of coffee, pastries, ice cream, and light fare. With indoor or outdoor seating, there's plenty of room to accommodate you and your friends. And everyone - the staff and the patrons - are friendly and happy to converse. Make Caffe 101 your next stop when you visit Boiling Springs.

Stopped by while I was doing a section hike of the Appalachian Trail. The cafe is about 1/4 mile off the trail. They have great outdoor seating. I was there for breakfast and got a hot chocolate and a platter with eggs, sausage, home fries and toast. Reasonably priced and the service was great!
