Great food selection, beautiful views

Sunday Mother’s Day Brunch was delicious. Service was quick and brunch was not rushed. We enjoyed the wide variety of choices including Prime Rib with Bernaise sauce— so tender. Eggs Benedict was a big hit along with the mimosas.

Best tasting Caesar salad I’ve ever had

Very active place to watch a softball game. Kids are always playing on the basketball court. Tennis players every day. I am very happy to see the park being used.

Food was excellent! I had the cheddar haddock, it was yummy The others in our party said their entrees were excellent also ! Great waitress “Shea” nice personality! Will definitely return!

The food and service are exceptional. Great atmosphere. Perfect for celebration our wedding anniversary evening. Our server was very chearful and helpful with special dietary needs too.

Wonderful food served by a great staff.

Baxters is located in a very tranquil setting, on the north side of town. They have quite a bit of outdoor seating (although they need more table umbrellas). My friends and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch. The menu is varied with several specials to choose from. I enjoyed the Rum Poached Pear 🍐 salad 🥗. Service was friendly. I look forward to returning for lunch again, soon.

A nice place to ease back in to supporting the local dining scene. Generous and very nicely presented portions with interesting choices. Great staff. Thumbs up for sure. Coleslaw worth the visit.

Great food and one of the only serious patios in Rutland, with a great view overlooking the golf course. I had the ahi tuna steak salad, which was excellent. Rare and seared, beautiful.

Awesome golf course! Old style layout with awesome views. The greens were fast but fair. The food and service at the bar was top notch as well.
