Deer Run Camping Resort

We have thoroughly enjoyed our time so far as a seasonal camper this year. Time and money is being put back into the campground and it definitely shows. We have enjoyed each of the music festival weekends, the themed weekends, bingo and other activities for families.

Campground has activities every weekend, something for everyone. Staff keeps it clean, bathhouses are well maintained. Amenities are great. 2 playgrounds, mini golf, shuffleboard, dart's for adults, and many more. Great place to bring the family.

They had some really fun activities for them on Saturday that went on throughout the day including Water Wars, which most of the entire campground took part of and made for an awesome time.
Pool was comfortable and clean. Lots of friendly people and safe to let our kids wander around to do their own thing. Golf cart rentals were $50 a day which we loved. We sadly didn't get any bites from the fishing pond.
Our tent site at 210 was spacious enough for us and had 2 picnic tables.

My only real complaint was the lack of phone service, but thats to no fault of the campground itself. I have Boost Mobile and had ZERO service out there, but my husband with Straight Talk had full bars. They do offer wifi access for $2 per device for 7 days though. It didn't quite reach our campsite all the time but it was plenty good enough everywhere else.

We will definitely be coming back before the season ends and in the years to come.

Deer Run is a great place to camp! We started coming here last year and loved it. There are so many activities every weekend , live music, games for the kids, fishing, mini golf , swimming pool and more.. my son absolutely loves coming here and hanging out with all the kids.

The store is great with awesome ice cream and anything else you need with very fair pricing.

The staff and everyone at Deer Run are super nice and friendly! I highly suggest you camp here!

We just started full time RVing and Deer Run was our very first stop after selling our home in Fairfield. I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful family friendly campground.

First I will say the owner, Jim, is very obviously passionate and dedicated to this place. He was the first face we saw upon entering the campground after hours and helped us get situated. He continued to be just as warm and helpful throughout our stay that turned into an entire month instead of just one week.

The staff at Deer Run is equally as wonderful. Jamie and Malia(I’m sure I got that wrong and I apologize) in the store were always so helpful and patient with me and especially my 4 girls as they ran around the store indecisive about what flavor of ice cream or type of candy they wanted. My kids were able to be kids here and run around never being made to feel like they were a nuisance in anyway.

There is also Aaron(I believe he’s the maintenance guy) that was our neighbor. He was kind enough to hop in our truck and back our 44ft RV into the monthly site when we were certain we would not get it in ourselves. He’s incredibly talented and hard working and built a beautiful Sleuth while we were there. He even baked our family an upside down pineapple cake!

The grounds are beautifully maintained and the absolute gem for me as an avid outdoors person was that the campground backs up to the Appalachian trail. There’s an entrance down behind the tent sites and the trail will take you to a beautiful creek with a lovely bridge. And if creeks aren’t your thing the pool was just pristine. There’s also mini golf, a cute little game room with a pool table, horse shoes and a shuffle board. The bathrooms were always so clean and have been recently renovated.

The weekends! Man they really go all out and every weekend was like a holiday there. Really great bands and vendors and even a bounce house the last weekend we were there.

We recently bought a camping membership to save some money while we acclimate to this new lifestyle and let me tell you we are really regretting leaving. No more happy friendly faces, no more clean pool, no dog park and it feels like we moved to a trailer park in comparison.

The rates at Deer Run are fair and absolutely worth it. Especially for the monthly sites.

This was lengthy but if anyone is reading this from Deer Run we will be rolling back soon cause my kids are absolutely miserable here and miss it so much. It became like home. I’m all kinds of emotional just writing this review. Thank you for everything.

My family enjoys camping at Deer Run Camping Resort! The Staff are very friendly and go out or their way to take care of customers. There are alot of new upgrades to the campground. Upgraded Bathrooms, Tarred and Chipped roads, Salt water Pool, Large Gem Mining, All New Activities for all ages, Large new Recreation Building with Dart Station. We will definitely continue to come to this Campground. Stop in and Visit, you will Love it!

I have been coming to this campground for years. I found that this campground has so many amenities to offer and its nestled just over the mountain from Mount Holly Springs in Gardners PA. Close to everything but yet you feel you’re in a different atmosphere when you pull into the campground from the activities for the kids to the music fest to the themed weekends why go anywhere else? That’s why my husband and I became permanent seasonals at this campground with all the other campgrounds, raising the rates and not having much to do I found that this is the place for us. We couldn’t be happier we make sure to tell everyone we know who enjoys camping to try camping at Deer Run. They won’t be disappointed.

One of the best family oriented camping resort I have ever stayed at. Many music venues and great kid friendly. Place.

We are in our 5th year of being seasonal campers. Loved the last owners and the new guy running things is doing a bang up job! Many recent upgrades- Salt Pool, Bath Houses, new items in the Game Room and brand new Gem Mining Slueth. Activities every weekend- our favorites are All American Red Neck Weekend and Water Wars!

We have been a seasonal camper for 3 years now and we love it ! The grandkids love coming here . The concerts and activities are great !! Everyone here is super nice and we were welcomed from day one , I would recommend Deer Run Camping Resort to all my friends!

We have been going to deer run campground for about 10 years but hadn’t been for about two years before this past weekend. Upon arriving at the campground late Friday night my husband and I with our 5 kids headed to the primitive cabin. When we got in there we realized it didn’t have enough storage space for the food we had and it was just really tight for us. This was due to our lack of research when we booked. The next morning we woke up and sat out to get something new. I got to the office and explained to the young lady and the manager that we needed something a bit bigger with a kitchen and the owner over heard us. He immediately helped accommodate us and chose an rv that he and his family had stay at the past weekend. To top that off he gave it to us at the same price as the primitive cabin which I didn’t expect but was such a blessing! He was very nice and attentive and he checked up on us after we got settled into the rv. Both the Rv and the cabin were nice and clean and well stocked. We had cable tv and could stream if we wanted to. The Worship music festival was also amazing! My family truly enjoyed it! We will be back this summer! My husband is even considering getting a seasonal pass. Thanks Tyler and Deer Run for such amazing service and a great time!

This place is fantastic! Always activities and events going on. Well maintained, and taken care of. There's always something for the kids. This place is one of the best choices that we've made!

Loved it here! Went for 5 days and 4 nights and my family and friends had a blast, we will definitely return next year with a couple of more friends, we camped in a tent the space was very spaces, we had electricity which was great, the campfire at night was the kids favorite part besides the pool during the day and the rest of the activities. We all enjoyed our stay, cooked food out on the picnic area, had smores at night, made the fire change colors with a bag of coloring effect that they sell right at the campground, they also sold many goodies at the office, really good ice cream to cool off and delicious shakes of all kinds. It was worth it.

Deer Run Camping Resort is an amazing place to get away and camp. The staff there is very kind and always helpful. They provide so many fun activities that you will never be bored from fishing, swimming , put-put , and concerts on some occasions you and your family will never be bored while staying here. Everything is clean nice and fairly new for a reasonable price I would definitely recommend to anyone ,and I will for sure stop by again whenever my family wants to get out and enjoy the outdoors!

We LOVE Deer Run!! AMAZING activities, SUPER friendly staff, SPARKLING clean salt water pool, multiple music festivals, INCREDIBLE ice cream CRAZY shakes and the happiest friendly campers!!

This is an awesome family run campground that treats you right! Very reasonable prices and reasonable people. The bath houses are super clean and up-to-date, as are all the other facilities. We were there during a fishing derby weekend and it was extremely well run with awesome trophies for all the winners! The sites were spacious and hookups easy to access. I just can't say enough about the kindness of the staff!

This is a great family campground with great people. They do.lots of fun activities for kids and adults.

Fun campground in Adams County. Lots to do~mini golf (small fee), shuffleboard, fishing pond, playgrounds, a small game room and a pool. Sites are decent sizes but picnic tables are too small. Restroom and shower facilities were clean. Cable and wifi available at a small additional fee, as well as golf cart rentals. Owners and staff were personable and even drove around in golf carts at various times and checked in with campers to see how things were or if they needed anything. We will camp here again but plan to bring a small fold up table with us next time for coolers and camp stove.

New changes are excellent! My family enjoyed our stay for the second year in a row! Loved the lights in the mini golf area! And the new salt water filled pool! RV rental was great as usual, definitely will be returning soon!

Nice campground with plenty of activities to keep campers engaged. Swimming pool was well kept and the grounds immaculate.
