Great store, awesome inventory, fair prices and really nice dudes running it now. Definitely check it out, tons of keys on the wall, even some huge grails at super fair prices!

Can here the other day the employees were really nice and the selection at the store was fantastic. The person at the store was very friendly and even recommended me a comic after I asked about a series I like. Very friendly employees and I will definitely go back.

I've been here twice in the past month, and both times were a great experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they offer a subscription service so you never miss an issue of a series you're reading, and they gave me an amazing deal on graphic novels. Check them out if you're looking for a good comic shop, you won't be disappointed.

Michael is a knowledgeable and friendly owner. This is the shop that I used to frequent as a kid and it's great to see that the new owner is passionate about everything he's doing with it. We'll definitely be back soon!

Great experience. I stopped here with my husband who loves comics and our 9 month old as we were on our way home from grocery shopping. My husband has been here a few times in the past.

Usually I wouldn't want to take the baby to a comic book store because babies can be loud and distracting. However, the owner, John was very nice to us despite the babbling/screaming baby in a stroller. John was very knowledgeable and friendly.

There is a Pac Man video game that I played while I waited for my husband to browse the comics. John even gave my husband a few free comics because my husband told him it has been a while since he read Nighthawk and had to get back into the series. I'm sure my husband will return.

Great spot. Staff was very helpful. As a newbie to comics, it was overwhelming. They were able to make multiple recommendations and I now have a subscription with them to stay up to date on multiple comic series. Thanks!

B was amazing! He helped me navigate through the products, and the fact that it was my first there, and he helped me with my multiple questions was very helpful. I will revisit this establishment again very soon as well as tell my friends about it.

I visited Comic Universe during my trip to the Philly area. The staff were very friendly and they were running a great deal on the trade paperbacks and hardbacks. Check them out if you are in the area!

Comic Universe is a great comic shop. Everything is organized and the guys are more than willing to help you out, especially if you'd like them to set aside some books for you on release day. John, the owner, is incredibly friendly from when you walk in until you leave. Plus, the guy is a vet and a heavy metal fan. Excellent shop, and one of the best in the area.

I venture its been 45+ years since I first walked into Comic Universe in Folsom. Back them I probably rode my bike to buy baseball cards and comic books. Today I'm driving a Gladiator but felt like a kid that traveled back in time when I saw this place was still open. Wishing lots of success to the new owner John Daly.

Been here a few times recently, and am newly getting back into comics. They were extremely helpful and have made a customer for life.

Good stock in this store. Friendly proprietor. If I have any criticism, it was that the back issues were difficult to browse because of stuff on top of the boxes. I’m certain it’s not that way all the time. They probably just got some stuff shipped in. I’d make the drive out there again someday.

Took my son for his first comic book. The gentleman was very friendly and helpful.

What a great shop. I stopped here on a whim and came in with my daughter and looked around for a while and got to chatting with John the owner. He was such a generous person he gave my daughter a bunch of free comic books to get her started on her own collection. I will for sure stop in here every time I'm in the area

Veteran Owned Comic Shop!
The shop staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about comics both new and old. It has a decent selection of back issues and tons of current ones. Also, they have bags/boards ready for a variety of sizes even the obscure. I will definitely come back the next time I am in town!

This is not my regular comic shop, in fact it's almost an hour from where I live based on traffic. I can't express how frustrating that is after being here only once and being thoroughly impressed.

I took a day off to drive around and hunt for missing back issues to fill in some gaps in my collection. One book I wanted, ASM #12 (2018) has been vexing me to no end. This shop marked my 7th store that day to check for it (and other books).

After digging through their generously stocked bins the owner and I started talking and he was curious what I was looking for. After checking his computer and having me check a specific box that may have had a variant he asked for my number. He was willing to check his personal collection and sell me his copy if he had it.

A few days go buy and he calls to tell me no luck and I thank him for trying, being really impressed already.

A week later I get another call, he found it. My man had called other stores and found a copy over in Camden at Fat Jack's. He then offered to have them ship it to him (or me directly) so I could fill that gap. I declined the offer but made a point to stop in for it later on.

That is some next level dedication to not only his store, and his customers but the whole of comic collecting and enjoying itself. I had to share this story with the world and hope you can make this place your LCS of choice even if it's too far from me to make it mine.

It's my favorite comic shop to date. They always have a large back stock and order a hearty amount of current ongoing issues.

2nd time in this comic book shop and meeting John who is super friendly and knowledgeable. He helped me find some guardians of the galaxy comic books last time. My boyfriend absolutely is in love with store as well. We look forward to speaking with you again John!

Very well organized, amazing selection, good prices. The owner was super nice as well. Best comic shop in town for sure.
