The food is always hot and delicious!! Great service !! It's definitely a neighborhood favorite. My family and I have been eating from JD's for years now we love their food and the family that owns the establishment are great!

The best African food in the area! The atmosphere is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. I eat here at least twice a month. I love the fish and casava leaf, the palm butter is good too...oh! I love the potato green too! Yummy# Deliciousness 🍚🍵🍛🍴🥄😋

Tasty, Authentic African Food from Liberia. I tried four different dishes and ALL WERE GOOOOD ❤ Owner is friendly and takes good care of customers. You never wait long! Kid-friendly too. Lovely, clean restaurant with great location!

I absolutely love their food I’ve been a customer here since they opened, and I can just say right now they never disappoint!! They are clean, my food is always ready when I get there, fast, and efficient, the food is just awesome 👏🏾 ‼ I have absolutely no complaints about this restaurant . Only con is they are a cash only establishment please keep that in mind and there is no ATM on site . There menu is fixed based on the day. So I know by heart what they are serving each day . They have quality food and there price is about a $1-$2 higher than other African restaurants in the area. As a HUGE foodie, I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to taste some west African cuisine ❤.

Food is DELICIOUS! I haven't been able to find a place that serves potato greens this good since my old restaurant closed down. This is DEFINITELY it. I would recommend this to anyone. They have a customer in me for as long as they're opened. I just recommend that if you're sensitive to spice, use only HALF the spices they give you. It's VERY hot

I LOVE THIS PLACE ‼ I’m from New York but every time I’m out here in Philly I make sure to stop at this Liberian Restaurant to get some good good food. The first time my cousin introduce me to this place I couldn’t stop thinking about their food it’s very hard to find a african well I should say Liberian restaurant in NY especially my area. 5 Stars because they cook the same way my family cook yes I’m Liberian 🇱🇷 love your food 💕

This my spot, clean, decent and delicious foods, even though I wish he had more different food choices. I love this place, The only restaurant I eat without hesitation of hygiene and clean, delicious african meal. :)
