Riddle Hospital

Our experience was positive. Everyone treated us with respect. The nurse's treating my fiance were very polite and knowledgeable, every doctor the same. They also helped educate us for future care routine. We must've gotten there at a good time because even the ER wait wasn't very long. He was in the pavilion which is very nice. No complaints other than having to be in the hospital. even the cafe food was good

Went here 2 times for visits for a tonsillectomy. The staff were friendly, professional, efficient and well trained. They were experienced and seemed to genuinely care about my wellbeing. I was extremely impressed with all of them from the front desk to the nurses and the staff who escorted me to my car in a wheelchair chair. Never expected to have such a great healthcare experience

I got an email and phone call before surgery breaking down the financial cost. There was an error saying I’d have to pay about $100 copay. I called my insurance when I got the email to verify if this was accurate. Then the hospital staff called me and I explained I’d talked to my insurance and they said I had a $0 copay and no deductible. The hospital was understanding and resolved the issue so when I arrived day of surgery I did not pay anything.

I legit left the hospital thinking if I ever have to go back to a hospital I hope it’s this one

I had an appointment yesterday For a CT scan of my heart. The nurse, Thomas, Hewston Is phenomenal to say the least. He walked me step by step of every single thing I was going to do for my appointment. He was very knowledgeable of the machine. He had all the facts all the information. He is just an awesome nurse, even to the point of wiping my mouth when the water spilled down my cheek, when I say that you will never find anybody else like him, you will never find anybody else like him. You should be very proud of the way he represents your hospital. I go on and on about him he is awesome. Even when I got nervous about going into the CT machine he came to my side he was like Tasha we’re almost at the end he held my hand man look he’s a great person. A great person I have never met a nurse like him before, Except when my mother had Covid, and it was another gentleman nurse from your hospital, who took care of my mother, who just was awesome as well, but Thomas yesterday great guy!

I had the pleasure of being a patient room 5009,friendly staff,clean,just beautiful, but my main concern was the bathroom, if you shower the whole floor would get wet and the toilet is in there also with only a curtain, and someone who fall on wet floor,with no rug and floor is level makes no sense

I love this hospital. This is my first time at this hospital.. it's clean it's nice it's quiet and they care about their patients.. I would rate UPenn #1 in Philly and Make Riddle Hospital #1 in Delaware county!! The staff is great . They talk to you. They smile at you . Security is wonderful and overall they care about everything and everybody .. yes ain't no one perfect or inspector gadget but I would rate this hospital 5 stars because they deff is different from any other hospitals in Delaware county I'll say ❣

My husband had a week stay at Riddle Hospital for knee surgery. From the time we were pre-admitted to the hospital until we left, the nurses, technicians, doctors and PA's as well as the transporters and food staff were outstanding. Everyone that we came in contact with were the most amazing people. There are too many individuals to name personally, but everyone made us feel like my husband was the most important patient they had. The concern for the patient was amazing. We had great care.

I really want to thank the nursing staff and doctors of 4 pavilion for keeping me as comfortable and out of pain with what was going on with me I really appreciate from the bottom of my heart special thanks to Sabrina who really is deadacated to her patiences.I can't forget the the food serving staff thank you all so much.PS thanks for the Birthday wishes

I came reluctantly into the ER thinking that I was going to be there all day and all night and I was pleasantly surprised how kind and caring everyone was. ER nurses Christina and Beverly were human and personable even added some Humor. In reasonable time the took x-rays and Bradley took care of the laceration in a very friendly and professional way. This was on 6-24-23 in the afternoon, Saturday. Great work!!!

I was there 9/20/2022. The service was beyond incredible.
I was initially scheduled to have an induced labor but ended up having a C-section since my baby was big (almost 9lbs).
The labor and delivery nurses were amazing, the anesthesiologist really knew how to relax and lessen my anxiety (first time mom here), the OB doctors are the best!

My baby stayed in the NICU for 36 hours, and I must say, they make me want to be part of their team as well!

Overall, if you want your birth delivery smooth like butter, there's no other place than Riddle Memorial Hospital Main Line Health 😍

I wish I could give more stars! I have never had a bad experience at Riddle and their ER is superb! Staff is always friendly, courteous, and respectful. I have birthed 2 children there and their OBGYN department/staff is once again... superb! My father also suffered a massive heart attack/stroke and they saved his life! Please keep doing what you're doing because it shows and I want you to know that your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed!

Everyone at the hospital,food was very good and always on time. Dr.,specialist,housekeeping has been fantastic , especially my 2 nurses on 4th floor Juliana & Danielle get a special kudos 👏 who were always there.

I cut my finger and had to go to the ER. While the wait was long, and I was not provided with pain management for four hours when I finally was seen, I had a great experience. Physician assistant, Carrie and RN Johnathan took excellent care of me. they were kind they made me laugh and most importantly did a great job suturing up my wound. The triage nurse Maria was also kind. I do wish they had more staff to improve wait times as I saw several people leave before being seen. That is no fault of the staff working but more an administrative issue. I was referred to a hand surgeon and contacted the very next morning and have already been seen. I have to tell you that fast of a turnaround is excellent.

I came Sun afternoon 1/22/23 to the ER. I was experiencing symptoms of a possible heart attack. Every person I encountered from the front desk to my check out was extremely polite, caring, and professional @12 people.. I was immediately seen and put in a room and received all tests and monitoring quickly. I was nervous to visit any ER in the region because the reviews are so horrible. I came to Riddle because my primary care doctors are located here. We were very happy with our experience during our scary time.

Good hospital. Had a scope done on my knee. Hospital staff is awesome. Dr Frederick is highly recommend

The staff, nurses and doctors at Riddle have been so kind, caring and professional. A specific shout out to Sasha (nurse's aide on 4 Central) and Taylor (nurse on 4 Central). They have been so kind and caring to our mom. Dr. Deepak Khanna is a great doctor--one of the best we have ever seen in a hospital setting. His bedside manner is superb and he took the time to really listen and get to know our mom's very complicated medical history to ensure his care was consistent with her multitude of underlying conditions. We wish he were in private practice, because he would be our mom's PCP without a doubt. Thank you everyone!

This review is for the staff in the ER, mainly the young lady Alexandria at the front desk. She engages wonderfully with the patients. She keeps her cool under pressure, and she makes being in the ER just a little less stressful.

You can go to school, take courses, and get many degrees. However, when it comes to people skills and personality, that’s something you simply cannot teach, and luckily for Riddle, Alexandria was born with it.

The X-ray tech, the triage nurse, and the tech who drew my blood were all friendly and professional.

Nice hospital with outpatient service along with many other doctors offices. My family doctors office is here as well. I've been seeing Walter Lewis for over 20 years and has the most polite staff that always have time to listen to all your concerns! Highly recommend for the best family doctor that you'll ever have!!

They just released me yesterday after a 7 night stay. I showed up to the emergency room in the most agonizing pain I’ve experienced in my life. While I wish the 5 hours in the waiting room did not happen, it cannot be held against them… and I saw the Triage Nurse almost immediately. The nursing staff in the ER, once my name was called was extremely attentive and followed all protocol. The doctors in the ER were also very on point and I felt like my well-being was very much a priority in a very busy place.

They did some testing and quickly gave me a diagnosis. They helped manage my pain with medication and admitted me to the hospital. Dr. Kakade (surgeon) was on duty and told me exactly what was going on and what his course of action was going to be. He effectively communicated several scenarios and projected outcomes confidently based on his experience. Kakade’s matter-of-fact approach and bedside manner was refreshing. He gave me plenty of opportunities to ask questions. I was admitted several hours later with a clear understanding that Dr. Kakade and Riddle Staff were going to render me the best possible medical care available anywhere in the world.

Once I arrived on the second floor, I was warmly greeted by my nurse who introduced herself by name and stated “I am your nurse.” She was empathetic and genuinely cared about me and my comfort. Being there for seven days meant that I was there for fourteen nursing shifts and in those 14 shifts, I was rotated among 5 different nurses whose names are Krissy, Chrissy, Fen, Victoria and Jordan. Please keep in mind that I don’t remember names easily. These ladies picked up where each-other left off with grace and as if I was their only patient when I know that there wasn’t an empty bed in the hospital during my 7 night stay. The quality of the professionally rendered skilled nursing care complemented by their genuine concern and human touch and bedside manner made me feel like my health and well-being were entrusted to the best. My mind was completely at ease!

I must also mention that the Technical Staff members who support the nurses were equally pleasant and extremely caring in their roles as well. Two names come to mind most especially, Cecille and Dennis.

I was sent several times to the radiology department for testing and all the technicians, nurses and administrative staff in this department were very professional. Even the patient transporters were amazingly accommodating.

I can only imagine that working with very sick people everyday must be very trying on one’s patience. Especially when the hospital is completely full and there is a shortage of staff. Each member of hospital staff with whom I came in contact conducted themselves in an above average manner and many of them were absolutely excellent.

One thing I personally disliked about my experience was that rooms were shared. But Riddle is already working on that and they plan to provide their patients private rooms when they open up the new hospital which is already under construction.

I cannot say enough about the care I received at Mainline Health’s Riddle Hospital. A special thanks to Dr. Kakade and the nurses and staff on the second floor telemetry unit for the amazing care and amazing outcome. I hope I never need to go back, but I would choose Riddle again in a heartbeat if I was in need.

All of the nursing staff and care team in the outpatient surgery and recovery centers were fantastic! Could not have asked for more.

My grandmother had her hip surgery performed here. She stayed in the regular hospital part of the building, was moved to the transitional care unit, and was then sent home. I have NEVER encountered such a trustworthy and caring hospital staff!!! From the nurses and physical therapy person down to the custodians, all of the employees were so friendly. One of the nurses even brought my mom and I a warm blanket when we said the room was cold! I was very impressed as most health care facilities usually employ rude people, but this place didn't fit that stereotype whatsoever. Not to mention the food was delicious!!!!!! This had to be the best food I've ever tasted from a hospital. Their oven baked chicken tenders were so delicious that they tasted fried, and the French fries were better than most restaurants. Last but not least their pizza was phenomenal!!!!! The cafeteria was also clean, and they play music to keep the mood cheerful. They offer ice cream on Fridays to both patients and visitors in the transitional care section. The whole environment was filled with so much positivity. Staying upbeat is crucial in a place where people are recuperating from illnesses and/or surgeries. I definitely recommend this hospital. Whether you're going for yourself or a family member you will not be disappointed. Keep up the awesome work Riddle staff!!!
