Laurel Manor Apartments

The place was beautiful. You couldn’t imagine the beauty that you see quiet area, spacious rooms, and Catherine was a beautiful tour guy.

Kay and Arlene have made my move in experience so easy. They have both been so helpful every step of the way. Any questions or concerns I had were answered quickly. I'll definitely be recommending Laurel Manor apartments to anyone I know that is looking to move.

Old Apt but the maintenance team is great and fixing issues within a day

Septa station is just few steps from here. All other stores are closeby in walkable distance. There is also a park( crowell park) nearby.
Maintenance here is very quick. Recently management has changed( altman co to stone lock properties i guess)

we moved in recently and I will be updating my review as more time passes of course. currently, it is a very nice, quiet neighborhood that is very close to EVERYTHING. we are really happy with the location. the apartment has been great - one of the best I have lived in (and I've lived in some nice areas). so far we feel like we are getting a great bang for our buck. I have seen a lot of negative reviews but I really feel like with over 300 something apartments here to the amount of bad reviews....they are few and far between.

The staff is very friendly and attentive, any issues I had were addressed within 24 hours and if the issue wasn't fixed I was updated within a decent timeframe on when things would be fixed. It's in a great neighborhood, close to everything. I have great and very friendly neighbors. Initially I had mice but they went above and beyond to fix the issue and I haven't seen them in over a year. I would recommend this for anyone.

They have many different good people working for Laurel Manor Apts...

The the one year we spent living there was nothing more then a nightmare. We were put above people who hated children and we had a 2 year old. Our down stairs neighbors were ignorant, smoke weed and blasted music way past 10pm and with many complaints and phone calls to the office and property manager nothing was ever done. To me they hardly cared about their tenants, I wouldnt suggest this place to anyone! especially if you have children. They call it a great place to call home, i call it a nightmare!

Overall is a nice area to live, but the branch manager at the office she is not polite to the tenants. She just talk to you the way she wants With NO REGARDS I've witnessed it myself I made a call to complain for some reason they never return my call. KAY IS POLITE AND RESPECTFUL WOMAN YOU CAN TO AT THE Office.

Do not come here, please don’t! Management sucks & has a very nasty attitude! Currently all the occupants are going without heat with NO notice! Literally the apartments feel like abandoned buildings. From the mice, the roaches, to nasty management. Don’t waste your time!

This place is horrible. The management here sucks. You can call for maintenance and nobody will ever come and every time you call back they’ll say that someone will come and never does. Everyone in the entire complex says that while they shower, the water will instantly either get super cold or extremely hot which will burn you and you would think when you have toddlers showering, it would be a priority for them to fix it but of course it isn’t. You can tell not much effort was put into the apartments before you move in due to holes in the wall, electrical sockets hanging out of the wall and also the quick paint job that is done. The ceilings are cracked up as well. Something that this complex can’t do anything about is the loud trains that will wake you up early in the morning and late at night due to the loud horns.This place seems like it could be a better place to live but it’s far from it and I suggest you stay far away.

Did not get my deposit back

I lived there from November 2022-23. Moved out before Nov 30 2023. I am yet to receive my deposit amount. They just mail(by usps) the deposit as a cheque to you. No email, no formal notification of any kind. I didn't receive the usps mail. On calling about it, they say they mailed(usps) it and will get in touch with "corporate" about it. Even after multiple calls, I get the same answer. They dont even provide a tracking code for the mail. The deposit is one month rent. Sending such an amount should be done with better care. Really frustrated about this. Not sure why "corporate" can't send an email regarding the actions they have taken so far.

Other concerns:
1. Mice are there. Even if you raise a complaint, they just come, leave some traps here and there and then leave. They don't follow up.

2. Bad maintenance jobs. They do respond to maintenance requests. But, the fixes are usually temporary.
