Cawley's Irish Pub & Restaurant

Cool Delco-style bar (what we called a "pappy bar" in my youth.) Now that I'm a "pappy" I fit right in. I did not go during a sporting event, but there are at least a dozen good screens indicating it would be a great place to watch the Iggles. I had passed this place for years on my way to get ethnic food on Terminal Square, but a Facebook post indicated they had a great hot turkey, so that's what I set out to try. Menu was VERY varied and I'd eat just about every item on it. Turkey was not highly seasoned (let's face it, the Irish are not famous for their spicy food.) A little salt and pepper was enough to liven it up. Served piping hot and exuded freshness. Bartender treated me like a regular, though it was my first time there. Poured a proper Guinness and a healthy shot of Tullamore Dew. I could barely believe the bill. I've paid a hell of a lot more for far less. Will be on my regular rotation.

I went in with a colleague for a quick bite for lunch. The service was very quick and the food was good. The prices were amazing. We both had cheesesteaks and sodas. The cheesesteaks were fresh and the prices were great. I will definitely come back as there were a lot of choices on the menu I would eat. The is a good old fashioned pub with comfort food. Large portions at a fair price.

My go to watering hole. I've tried a bunch in the area. Nobody is consistent and does it like these guys. Good food, good drinks, cheap prices and even better people. They got good rolls and buns. Foods always fresh and good. Can't beat it.

What can I say about this place? A lot! You would not believe the out-of-this-world kitchen that this hidden treasure serves up from its menu! The environment is cheerfully infectious, with laughter ringing from every corner, making it impossible not to smile the moment you step through the door. The establishment is robust with patrons, and from the food alone, I can see why – the bar is alive with so many diversities of people, all having an awesome time. And let's talk about the chicken tenders for a sec – while a simple choice, they are absolutely killer and worthy of your cluck-buck. Seriously, they elevate the humble chicken tender into an art form. The entertainment on the weekends is second-to-none, as I've been here before and had an absolute blast! Order a drink from Chris or any of the staff and get it exactly as you ask for it. Absolut martini, extra extra dry, rocks on the side with olives? Nailed it. Take out? Yup. Beer or food to go. If you feel like having an awesome experience, you simply CANNOT go wrong here. This staff cares about the customer. The food, like those mind-blowing chicken tenders, is like it's homemade with love, and in this crazy inflated world of economics, the price is honestly hard to beat - and it's ABSOLUTELY worth your hard-earned dollar, because as you'll see, leaving here you'll likely say, "Oh, I will definitely be coming back to do this whole thing AGAIN!" And you will. The secret? Good old-fashioned great service, great people, stellar food, and ear-candy all night long. Bravo!

Love Cawleys! Great Guinness, bar food, and atmosphere! The clientele and staff are welcoming and treat you like family. As someone who grew up in Ireland, I can honestly say it feels like a piece of home.

My family loves this place. My husband goes to the bar often and always have good things to say about the bartenders. Our food is always good! My favorite is the chicken cheesesteak!

Cawkeys is my go to spot for a sports game, post work beer, or good bite to eat. Affordable and consistent; just overall a great environemnt. They offer irish meals ike shepherds pie and fish and chips, along with bar food like prime rib sandwiches and cheesesteaks. You can't beat it!

I absolutely love Cawley’s!! The food is great and the service is even better! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming it makes the experience 10x better! Highly recommend!

Pub atmosphere similar to in Ireland. We love their grilled Reubens! Never had a bad meal. Owners very involved in the neighborhood.

Absolutely the best cheesesteaks. Great place for sperits and Camaraderie. Just order a mushroom cheesesteak with fried onions and pub fries, wow My taste buds are titillating. And my stomach is full. Time to take a nap by the fireplace.

Have been going to Cawley’s with extended family since it opened. All of the food is great and the staff are always friendly and kind. Recently I’ve been ordering their cheesesteak sandwiches, which are on an Amoroso bread…a delicious combination!
And Mr. Cawley is always warm and welcoming.

It's been years since I've been to Cawley's. Absolutely one of Upper Darby's bests. Stopped in for a quick bite to eat. Warm and inviting staff. Great food! Good people!

Absolutely love this bar, unsure why some may feel this is not a safe bar for poc, but it’s my local favorite. I’ve never once heard a rude or racist remark from anyone there. Bartenders, servers & the owners are great. Good food, always have the local games on, and never disappoints.

Cawleys is my fave spot in Delco. The food is great , the atmosphere is great, and the staff is phenomenal.. Big ups to Bill , Chris , Joe and Marissa.. Mr.Cawley you are the man , much respect.....
