Sayre High School

Sayre is not really what people portray it to be. Yes, Sayre has its flaws but honestly if you think about it, students make a school what it is. Me being a student just graduating 2015 and being the main "student" leader in the school, I had time to think about who William L. Sayre as a whole really is. Academically we lack in a lot of areas but it can and it will improve by the help of our community. Give Sayre the chance it needs and I assure to you that a change will be made in the city of Philadelphia.

I attended William L Sayre in 1970-72 (7th,8th,and 9th grade) When it was a Jr High !! 😉👍👌👍👍"Wonderful Experience!!

My son is a current student at William L. Sayre HS and from our experiences you wouldnt want your child attending this school.The teachers teach but the students act as of they have no discipline. My son tells me about fights and drama every few days.This school is under funded and needs some major help.

My son had to spend his senior year here. So far no drama but he comes home with NO work ever. I guess at this point the kids pretty much learned everything. He has half days (8am-12pm). This allows his to get a job if needed.

Sent my granddaughter home from school after she complained that a boy was harassing her. Don't you think they should have called an had me come get her. Anything could have happened.

This is THEE WORST school I've EVER had my daughter in. The students run the hallways & they do not listen to authority depending on who it is. They like to fight. Almost every other day my child was telling me of a fight. The teachers want to teach but the majority of these kids don't want to learn. My daughter is a A & B student and she lasted about 4 months and everyday she complained about the rudeness of the boys and how she wasn't learning anything. The Administrative in the front acts like she hates her job and is not welcoming. If your child is trying to excel...this is NOT the place!!!!

This school is the worst school ever I attended 2014 - 2015 I had straight AB's before i went to Sayre....I started having C's n actually my first D ever ....Education so poor please don't send your kids there I repeat "do not send your kids there, its a waste of education time"

i was jumped 4 times by 52nd street gang they jump all the new kids dont come hear and at one point my friend was hospitalized with 3 missing teeth and a concussion

the wrost school needs some new teachers Need some order in that school kids don't listen at all . nothing gets done in the school
