The food is beyond delicious. Some of the reviews I mean go for your own, but got their own taste but I don’t eat everybody’s food, spicy macaroni and cheese, but the fish is so so seasoned well green beans are seasoned while macaroni and cheese is blending and cooked well the shrimp to die for I definitely will be back until everybody else at 10 stars if I can give 100.

I went there yesterday about 6:30 pm and decided to give them a try I had the catfish platter with greens and potato salad. The food was very good I was pleasantly pleased.

Tried them for the first time based off of reviews, and glad I did. The food was really good! I had fried shrimp, the seafood combination platter, mac, coleslaw and a cheesesteak for my son... that food was cooked to perfection! Been back once already and looking forward to returning!

Jumbo shrimp is delicious!! I love their sides as well. Friendly people with great food.

Great people with manners offering awesome food. Platters have nice amount of each side. Some people forget that it takes time to prepare fresh served, hot food.....so please have patience. Lastly, I do have one concern they weren't able to help me resolve. I went one Wednesday for the Shrimp, ' GistLip' to say the least....... I got hooked, can't stop. Just a warning.

Giving 5 star just because... I love their food. They make the best soul food I've ever had in my life. Potato salad is marvelous and the collard greens are seasoned we'll. The fish is amazing and so is the chicken. I'll be coming back soon

Good customer service and the staff works very well while under pressure with a lot of customers ordering food at one time by walking in and constantly calling in at certain high peak meal times.

I absolutely love the shrimp. I feel like they should be closed on Monday n Tuesday if it's not religion that closes them on Sundays.

Good Friday... Me my God mom Tina & friends ate there in the car after service... Lol. It was that delicious!!

I finally got a chance to come here a few weeks ago after my friend kept ranting and raving about their $1 shrimp Wed and Fri's. Well my eyes we so much bigger than my stomach. I got 20 instead of 10 or 15. I ate about 8 and hurt myself!! The shrimp and fries were piping hot, the shrimp was fresh and the bread was crunchy just the way i like it! The staff is nice, friendly and fast. The place is small but can accommodate a small sitting area while you wait amidst a growing line of people ready to order. I haven't had any of their sides besides fries but I'm sure they are good too.
Definitely go here if the craving for great seafood comes over you. You won't be disappointed.

They cook the food while you wait. The food is worth the wait. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. I love dollar shrimp day. The shrimp are large and fried golden brown.

The fried porgy is EVERYTHING!!! It was still crispy and hot when it arrived at my house. I’m just mad I only got one piece, ITS SOOOO GOOD! They really know how to fry some fish! 👌🏼😭

Liked the fried porgy, large selection if sauces on the counter. Jamaican scotch bonnet excellent, tasty cabbage, mac n cheese, green beans, collards. No pork, just turkey and beef. Tonight was my first time there. The owner was friendly and welcoming. I will eat here again. I would like to sit there and eat in the dining room once it opens for dine in service. Parking in the Lansdowne municipal parking lot is convenient. Walk a 1/2 block. It is good for digestion. This place deserves to make it! Next time I will Photo my plate.
