Philadelphia Masjid Inc, located at 4700 Wyalusing Ave, Philadelphia, PA, is a beacon of spiritual and community life in West Philadelphia. It has been a fixture in the community since 1975, evolving from the University of Islam established in the 1930s. The masjid, also known as Sister Clara Muhammad School, is dedicated to providing both religious and secular education, guided by the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (SAWAS). The recent renovation of the Mussallá Prayer Hall during the 2019 Covid-19 pandemic is a testament to the community’s resilience and commitment to their faith. With a focus on children’s education, senior education programs, and adult literacy, Philadelphia Masjid Inc strives to serve as a valuable educational center for the surrounding communities.

Mashallah, the masjid was truly wonderful. The security staff was absolutely amazing and friendly.

This is a Beautiful and Welcoming House of Worship for Muslim Families. I Love attending the Lectures, Family Nights, Jumuah Prayer and Eid’s.
And you can pop in for daily prayers and volunteer work as well. Alhamdulilah

You can meet the most kind hearted, friendly, highly religious people on earth in this masjid. MashaAllah!! This masjid is the best for the whole family. My kid loves this place. The Salah is fantastic here. I was not very religious before I visited this place. But after my first day experience in this masjid, I became religious and peaceful. Alhandulillah!!! May Allah guide all of us in the right path. Ameen!!

This is my favorite place of worship. I feel comfortable and good vibes here. I got married here and attend Jumar and Ramadan here.

I love this masjid! This is where me and my husband got married Alhumdulilah and this where my life changed for the better masha Allah 😍☺🤩🤩🤩. The Philadelphia masjid will forever be apart of my family. They welcome all with open arms no matter your background and that’s what I love the most ! No one passed any judgment of any kind.

Great masjid me and my husband got married there 3 years ago they are always welcoming to us and even help us when we are going through things married people go through.

We just moved to this neighborhood so we started going there for Jumu'ah, Ramadhan Iftaar, Taraweeh and 'Eid.
I met the kindest, helpful and most generous brothers and sisters there.
They treated my children and me like family ❤.
May Allah reward them abundantly 🙏

This Masjid always gets a bad rap because of the past...today is today & that's all we really have. It's a diamond in the rough about to flourish & succeed with Allah's Help & Permission. (It's one of the only Masjids in Philadelphia during Ramadhan that feeds both Sahoor (dawn breakfast) & Iftar (sundown dinner) EVERYDAY...Allah Bless us all. Ameen 🤲

Feels welcoming and caring. Unlike some Masjids, where you kinda feel unwanted by the people because your not a regular!!! Alhamduillah.... Now this is one my favorite Masjids to attend.

I am not a muslim. My family was here for my brother's funeral, who was muslim. The people were very welcoming. We had the repass here. We were treated very well.

We had a warm welcome everytime we have been there. May Allah reward those that pit in all the work to make there programs run smoothy.
