Best sneaker store I have ever been to. John and Steven were great, incredibly helpful, and knowledgeable. My son and I had a wonderful experience. Wish I had found out about them years ago. Will only be buying sneakers here going forward.

Since the last 1980’s , we’ve been using John’s Sneaks to get shoes for our 4 children. Whether it’s day to day or some specific sport, John’s has come through for us and done so at ridiculously low prices. In addition, the folks at John’s make it their business to know what you need the shoes for so that they can recommend the best shoes for you. Now, we recently introduced our grandchildren to John’s so they can compete in their sports as well.

Great price and quality sneaker (Brooks, Saucony). Store has been there over 50 years. Gentleman running the store is very knowledgeable. Me and the wife both ended up getting a pair of Brooks wide width. They feel like I'm walking on air with the arch support. Highly recommend!

The best brand named sneakers at discount prices. Friendly and helpful staff. I’ve bought sneakers here for probably 20+ years. I have unusually large feet and elsewhere it’s difficult for me to find quality shoes in my size but they always have a great selection of sneakers in the larger sizes.

John is an institution! Great deals, even if a bit tricky to find. Worth the trip if you are looking to save $$ and don't need the latest & greatest. Spartan environment but John knows his stuff. Recommend highly!

John is the most helpful shoe sells man I have ever encountered in my life. If you live on the Philadelphia area and need running shoes, this is where you need to go to. John knows his shoes and he knows what's good for your feet. He'll look at your feet, ask you for your size and will bring you a few pairs. He's not trying to sell you his most expensive pair. Rather, he wants you to get the best pair for your feet. My fiancée always had problems with running shoes until we came here. Her current pair is the best fitting running shoes she ever had. On top of that, John's shoes are greatly discounted compared to retail. I don't see why you wouldn't want to buy a running shoes from here. One last thing: make sure to bring cash, as there is a surcharge for cards.

Large selection. No frills. No pressure. Very helpful, knowledgeable and honest owner Steve. You can buy Nike here but as any serious runner knows those running shoes are garbage - they are a fashion first sneaker. Saucony Brooks Asic all available at great prices. I Googled running shoes since city sports closed and I didn't know where to get shoes to replace my Nike. This place came up and very happy it did.

I buy all of my running shoes at John’s Sneaks. They are located in Ardmore near the bus route and Yearsly’s. There’s street parking. Steve carries a large selection of sneakers all $50 less than retail. I bought a pair of Saucony sneakers that retail for $120 for $50 less. They take credit cards and checks. This is a small, local business and it’s a great place to buy sneakers.

If you're very picky about style and need racks and racks to choose from, then not the place for you. But if you are aiming for the best prices anywhere for name brands, e.g. Nike, Under Armor, New Balance, etc. then THIS IS IT.

Great service. Steve Knows exactly what he is talking about. Got Brooks here that are usually $140 in most sneaker stores. I got them here for $75. Nearly half the price!
