Supremo Food Market of Walnut

Great store. Nice produce and a large selection of products from Central and South America as well as the Middle East. There are so many kinds of crema, cotija, and queso fresco. I go there now instead of ACME for all of my basic needs. It is a couple blocks further, but well worth the trip.

I hope my message goes to the store manager. I go to this store on regular basis.But yesterday I went along with a bag and generally go to the store with a bag.The security personnel standing at the entry told me take my bag off and where as most customer had the bag with them and were shopping with ease.When I looked around only a few customers were told to take the bag off.I never new this store had such a discriminatory policy. Appaling!

I like that I can get a few products from Central and South America. They also have products from around the world. It's a pretty cool place.

This place was really a happy surprise. The outside doesn't look like much but when you go inside I can't believe the variety. It was clean with the exception of them stocking so there boxes on the floor in the aisles. The prices were good. The meats and lunch meat area smelled good and looked good. The only thing I really didn't like was in the produce area, two workers had latter up and they were sitting on the produce display cases I think changing lights. What bothered me was his nasty boots were hanging right over the fruit. That was really unsanitary. I don't entirely blame the store for that because those two guys were contractors not employess but still I couldn't buy fruits or veggies because I witnessed that and there was no one at the time I could report that to.

It may not look like the most fancy or cleanest supermarket, but let me assure you that the supreme has its own enchant. It has EVERY ITEM inside the store are very LOW PRICES. Its products are clean and fresh and it also serves it's INTERNATIONAL customers with items are hard to obtain in Philadelphia. I hope that they manta in their high quality and their will to serve the community they have around University City.

Best place to shop for international food lots of options for South American and Caribbean foods. Good produce and great meats department.

This is a medium sized supermarket the produce section was well-organized clean and neat and the produce look fresh I didn't see much organic fruit but otherwise it was nice. They had good selection of products I went for yogurt and I found the yogurt that I was looking for at a reasonable price

The store has been completely renovated and went from a hole in the wall to a very nice supermarket with a great variety of ethnic foods. New paint, new flooring, New display cases, new lights.... New everything and it's old smells are gone!

Shopped at this market when I lived in the area. Still stays pretty well stocked and the workers, and sometimes the customers, are respectful, courteous and helpful. However the dumpster and trash behind the Market still emits the same stench 😖. This area needs upgrading. Otherwise 👍.

A pleasant surprise. Loved the quality. The meats were old and brown but overall, I found everything I needed.

Love that it opens very early (7am) and stays open till late (11pm). The produce is relatively fresh on Sundays and their milk stays fresh longer than milk from Fresh Grocer at 40th and Walnut. This place is also less expensive than Fresh Grocer for many items.

This place has some great produce and is one of the best places to shop for groceries in West philly. It has all your essentials in addition to a bakery and deli section. I have also found an extensive range of international food products that can be very helpful and helps me personally to get all the stuff I need at one place.

After being in university city for over a year and going to fresh grocer my wife and I wish we had noticed this place sooner. It's only 3 blocks further but the store is clean, not congested, well stocked, and has a great and friendly staff.

Clean store. Masks given just in case you forgot like I did today. Cordial to Muslims, located in between 2 Mosques. In and out, just the way this man love to shop.

Clean, well stocked and friendly employees. Prices are a little higher than Aldis or Amazon grocer but it's right around the corner so it's great when I need something at a convenience.

Has everything you need. Great selection of international foods as well. Great produce with some organic options. Some vegan stuff and adding more frequently. Just added soy chorizo. Friendly staff
