The Garlic

We always love eating at the Garlic. There are no reservations so usually a line starts forming around 445 (depending on how cold it is!) to ensure a seat at their 5pm opening. There is also a bar area on the other side you can sit at. Our food was fantastic and Melissa our server was awesome with recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. She made our meal extra pleasant! The Garlic is always a must visit when at Killington!

Excellent service with very hospitable and friendly bartenders. The decor is lovely inside with garlic hanging everywhere. The food is delicious, I especially loved the garlic potato soup and penne alla vodka. It definitely gets packed after a ski day!

What a dream find! We spent the weekend in Killington and visited twice! Absolutely amazing food. Impossible to go wrong!

Such a unique restaurant, decor is rustic and beautiful and their food is delectable. The garlic is clearly the freshest and marinated to perfection. We had the clams and fried mozzarella to start and the rack of lamb and sausage orecchiette. The wait staff was attentive and so kind. Will definitely visit again when we’re back in the area.

I've been going to this restaurant every winter season and it's absolutely delicious, mussels were great and it tasted so fresh, chicken parmigiana was good also.

If you're in the area, you must visit the garlic. I've been here a decade ago and it's just as good as I remembered. The place is also always packed on holiday weekends. We arrived 30 mins after opening and the parking lot was already full with an hour wait. Spent some time waiting at the bar and was seated promptly at 6:35pm. The food was delicious! The roasted garlic and bread is so good (though I did remember the garlic to be bigger). The portions are also big and we had leftovers which are conveniently packaged in aluminum containers for easy oven reheat.

We loved this place! The food was great, the service was amazing, the atmosphere was relaxing. They also offer seasonal craft beers & both of the Sour Beers were good.

Really good food for the prices !!! Nice variety on the menu and the Tapas Menu was wonderful (lots of varying options). Good wine 🍷 list and the ambiance is chill and enjoyable. Crusty bread 🥖 and roasted garlic 🧄 is served with meals and the table has olive 🫒 oil, balsamic vinegar and salt/pepper for seasoning. Spinach 🥬 in the salad was fresh and the parmesan cheese 🧀 was flavorful!!! The only (minor) negatives were: 1) the tomatoes in the salad were not quite ripe (but it was winter ❄, and I know produce is a struggle in the northeast) and the pan-seared scallops in browned butter were a little too salty. The Service Was Great . . . bartender and server !!!

Went to this restaurant twice on my 2 day visit to Killington.
Absolutely delicious food, Penne alla Vodka (no meat) and classic caprese. Tasted so fresh, pasta was so creamy.
10/10 for everything.

This is another place that was recommended by the receptionist at Killington Grand Hotel. This lady definitely knows her stuff. The food here is delicious. On a Saturday night, we showed up at 6:45pm (bad move), the wait was an hour and 15 minutes, so we went ahead and sat at one of the tables at the bar area. That was a great move. I think we had the best table here. True to its name, garlic was hanging from everywhere. The gorgeous lady at the bar moves with the speed of light and takes care of everyone. She is amazing, funny and friendly. First she brought hot bread and roasted garlic. Yummmmm. Then we ordered garlic mussels. Then out food showed up 😳. Be prepared for a lot of food. I was not prepared at all. Try the veal and the rack of lamb, absolutely delicious.

Great food. Tried the fried mozzarella based on prior reviews. Definitely worth it. Large portions, so share a plate if you don't want leftovers. The roasted garlic is so good. Tiramisu was awesome.

From the moment you come in you feel welcomed. Plenty of seating and very cool decoration. And the menu wow just amazing! So many options you will have to come multiple times. Big list of beers and wine. Really good prices, I would say the best prices in killington for the quality of food and service you get. Melissa, our server, was amazing so energetic and attentive what a great service always a great time at The Garlic! My favorite restaurant in Killington.

Best dinner in Killington! Added scallops to the penne vodka and it was amazing! Chicken Alfredo is a favorite & my friend got the Lamb dish ABSOLUTELY PERFECTLY COOKED! We will always come here when we visit Killington! Great wine selections as well!

We stopped by here during a trip to Killington and man were we happy! To start, they give everyone bread with roasted garlic which you can spread like butter! So delicious.

We started with the lamb appetizer which I didn’t get a picture of, but the goat cheese and blueberry jam along with the lamb was absolutely divine. Probably my favorite dish of the meal.

We got lamb, steak and the scallop diavolo which were all super tasty. The meats were supposed to be medium rare and by my eye it looked like there were a little more rare, but I didn’t hear any complaints from the boys. Pics included.

Overall very great experience. Keep in mind the lamb was market price which ended up resulting in a hefty check. Still a great experience and would highly recommend a trip here.

This is the best Italian food I've eaten in the USA - great ambience, even better team.
There is a good division between the bar and the dinning tables and the team clearly does its best to cook and serve quality food.
From the starter bread, to its high grade olives and well prepared (beautiful looking dishes) there was not a single thing I could point as a complaint.
I came here during peak of winter seasonality, the place was packed, and still, my experience was the best possible.
Manager is a role model for anyone running a restaurant.

Nice restaurant in Killington with good service

Let’s start with the fresh roasted garlic and grated Parmesan served with hot bread! YUM!
Don’t eat too much because your entree is coming next. I had Mediterranean Pasta. Kalamazoo olives, sun dried tomatoes and baby spinach sautéed with garlic and herbs over penne past. It’s normally served with a lemon rosemary but I #allergygirl had it with a wine reduction. The pasta was absolutely perfect. The spinach was not soggy. I had them add goat cheese. Don’t overthink … just do it. What a nice addition to this delicious entree!

Outstanding. Outstanding service, food, and apres ski atmosphere. Beside the flavorful and well portioned entrees, your table is presented with a nice sized crusty baguette, and a whole bulb of roasted garlic that you can squeeze onto your bread and experience what it's all about in life my friends.

We visited when we came for snowboarding trip. It’s our first time in the area. We were so glad that we went to this place for dinner. Absolutely love the garlic dip for the bread. We ordered a bunch of tapas and the service was very good!!! Good food and service with reasonable price!

True Italian resturant on the road into Killington mountain. Cozy atmosphere great food! Also our server was top notch. Bring your taste pallet, and appetite, I found the portions to be generous.
