Swarthmore Hair Studio

I live in Swarthmore and wanted to try a local hair salon opposed to driving into Philly, which I have been doing for the past few years. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this salon. Helen cut, colored & styled my hair and it looks fabulous. Ashley assisted and was excellent as well. Salon staff were warm, friendly and attentive. Music was good, salon was very clean, relaxing ambiance.

I find the people offering the services of the Swarthmore Hair Studio warm and welcoming in addition to being talented professionals in performance of their services. It may be that some males feel hesitant going to what was exclusively a women's hair service but that has changed and as I say it is a welcoming and comfortable place to be. I was saddened when my long time barber died and couldn't have felt a more understanding and welcoming new home for getting my hair cut. Five stars!

I have been going to Swarthmore Hair Studio for 15 years. Pat and Helen are expert cutters of mens hair. Plus they are awesome people. It's worth a little extra over a chain cutter or a standard lower-priced salon to get a great style, and advice on scalp and skin care. Love this place!

I have been going to Swarthmore Hair Studio for over 6 years and have always gotten a wonderful cut from Helen. I stopped coloring my hair in the past year, however when it was being colored the color was always perfect!

Tres chic! I love this little place. They are right down the street from me but they stay current on the latest fashion trends. It's like a taste of the big apple - modern, stylish, cutting-edge of NYC fashion - in my own little neighborhood. The ladies that work there are very polite and professional. They all exude good energy/positive vibes. The sleek, high-energy ambiance is very inviting and, dare I say, hard to leave! I love this place and the people that work there and the service they provide. Can't wait to go back. Oh yea... the music is great too. It's an ecclectic amalgamation containing everything from Adele to old blue eyes. Really a unique and invigorating experience + + +

Love the way Helen understands and cuts my hair. Great head massage and shampoo. I always know that I will leave satisfied and happy with my hair, which is very comforting.

I love this salon. It was my go to hair salon till I move to CA and once I moved to CA I quickly found another Aveda hair salon. I sure miss Helen and the caring thoughtful way she takes care of her clients.

Men. If you have yet to find the best place for a haircut, search no farther than this salon. Careful though, once you get a haircut here, you will be on the receiving end of many compliments, so make sure you can handle that.
