Their food is amazing, one of the best in Philly, customer service is horrible it needs an improvement. It’s very clean in there but always way too loud and it’s like a hangout spot for less busy men . I usually just order my meal to go , I’ll really recommend their food for take out , great meal.

Decided to try a new place and I’m glad I did. The food was really good, and fresh. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Usually I have to ask for extra fufu but this time I had enough, and that was pleasing. I ordered the egusi soup with fufu and fish pepper soup with fufu. Both amazing! I will be back

I’ve always heard wonderful things about this location, and today I decided to give them a try... when I say I was absolutely pleased with what I ordered. Food was very fresh, I had grilled lamb over white rice and onions. The owner of the store was pleasant and very welcoming. The store was absolutely spotless. Not a crumb on the floor or the smell of old meats. I will definitely be feasting with them again! Best west African food on woodland ave.

The food was exceptional. I had the potato greens with turkey, goat pepper soup, peanut butter stew with mixed meat/fish and fufu. The spice level and amount of flavor was perfect. The goat was tender!!

I ended here by default and loved it . Customer services was amazing , same price on menu same price I paid for my food. The cook was very professional and we loved the food . Our flight got cancelled due to bad weather on route to the south and we wanted good Africa food . The one google had more reviews we’re crooks the prices they quoted for the food and even on their menu was not same at piont of ordering in the restaurant. We needed up crossing the road to Sahara I’m glad I did . 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

Never had South African food I always have Nigerian or librarian and when I went to the restaurant they explain things to me and made me feel comfortable and the food was good and the young lady behind the counter was very helpful and nice also her grandmother and her mother was there I do believe nice place to go eat

The jollof rice was so good. I would say that it's the best I ever tasted but my Nigerian pride won't let me. Let the jollof wars continue! The food was excellent though, and the price was unbelievably modest compared to the quality. The customer service was great too. I highly recommend a visit. The lamb was on point. Although I'd say the tilapia was a bit too fried, and so I couldn't get as much meat from it.

I love the food, the ocra soup and the cassava leaf are so good! I go every time I'm in the area.

Me and my husband drove all the way from north Philly to get some food from Susannas but she was closed we wandered over to Sahara and was skeptical so we began to walk away when the owner came out and invited us in we ordered lamb cassava egussi jollof rice when I tell you it's the best african food I've had yet it was good my husband was pleased need to say we will be visiting again

Customer service was great. Fish was a little salty, dirty rice was delicious , pepper goat soup and fufu was delicious.

Omg this food is everything! I ordered chicken and jollof that was so flavorful and fresh. The portions are ridiculously large. I will definitely be back!
