Love Washington Boxing Academy!! I initially started going here when it was owned and operated by Alden Washington. It is now owned and operated by his son Adam who is equally as amazing as his dad! This small but mighty gym is great for children and adults. Seriously one of the best workouts ever! And it’s FUN! Check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

I am VERY thankful for Adam providing me with an opportunity to do business. Starting my own business, there are very few people that will allow you a "foot-in-the-door!" Adam at Washington Boxing Academy gave me that foot in the door opportunity.

Furthermore, he has demonstrated to be a devout family man that pour into the youth. Therefore, Adam will make sure children will get the best learning experience possible.

A treasure, this place and this coach. Adam has all the skills, a growth mindset as a teacher and leader, and he brings out the best in his many students. My daughter, now 16, has attended classes and has been a private student for many years now. She is stronger, more confident, and happier for having worked with Adam and for having spent time with the wonderful community of students and leaders at the WBA. Highly recommended!

Adam is a rockstar. Really keeps his students motivated. He understands the way to get the most out of them and is extremely genuine. Both of which are hard to find these days in anything! After only a few lessons you can see a confidence building - something so valuable especially with teen boys. Don’t even think twice about signing up. 👍🏻

I took a class on a whim back in January. Now I take lessons twice a week on a regular basis. Every coach is amazing to work with, and I’ve grown so much since I started!

Our family took a class with Coach Adam this past summer. As we left, our daughter asked to continue taking classes. Nine months later, she boxes 3x a week (and is truly upset if she has to miss a class). She has not only learned important self defense skills, but also important life lessons about focus and perseverance. It is evident that Coach Adam is truly passionate. Great place!

I absolutely loved the 1 hour session that I took for beginners. Adam was excellent at giving me instruction and making me feel comfortable and confident. He definitely has a passion for boxing, has high positive energy and is very professional. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone!

Both of our sons 8 and 6 love going to Washington Boxing Academy, it has done wonders for their confidence and self esteem. Coach Adam and Coach John are great with the kids and everything they do is safe and fun for all age and skill levels.

Coach Adams dedication and support for his community is of no other. If you have a goal and want to meet it he will help you when you start and will be there when finished. Adam is a great coach, very knowledgeable of his craft. He takes the time to know you, very personable with you and your kid(s). He coaches all levels (beginner, intermediate, etc.) I would suggest anyone else!!!!!!!

Adam is an amazing coach, mentor, and motivator. Adam simplifies the sweet science of boxing and makes it fun. The gym is great for kids as well as adults. Washington's Boxing Academy is the premier Boxing gym in the area.

How awesome to have this place in my neighborhood!!! Not only is it a KILLER workout for adults AND kids, but Adam is a treasure for the community. He takes pride in his work, and his life, and shares that with so many. Sending my son to him was a no-brainer. If you’re looking for something for your kid to do for exercise or confidence or safety, especially if s/he is not “into” sports, they will find a home here and it won’t break the bank.
My husband and I LOVED our time there. It’s a no-frills place to get out the aggression, burn a ton of calories, and have some laughs. Adam is the real deal - an actual BOXER who is now YOUR COACH. Can’t say enough good stuff about it.

My 11 year old son has been going to this place 2 times a week for at least two years now. He gets upset if he has to miss class for any reason. Adam and his team truly love what they do. I notice his adult classes have consistent attendance by both men and women. Training for the body and the mind!

This is the best place around for all levels.. schedules.. and all ages! Whether you want to learn self defense... or just tighten up your skills... or even if you just want to work out and or shed a few pounds... Adam and his team have the expertise and classes to fit your needs!

I love WBA Ardmore!! Adam & co helped me get back in shape just in time for the warm weather. An added bonus to working out here is that this business also gives back to the community in several ways!! Great place to train for all ages!
