Went there yesterday for lunch. Place was clean and bright with an open atmosphere. Staff were friendly and made you feel welcome. I had the Rail- road panini and was probably the best I’ve had so far. It would be a great place to meet up with friends or make new ones. Definitely recommended!!

Despite being busy and there being big tables the service was great and the food came out very fast.

Great little place to get food and drink! Not much to look at inside; but, the food and drinks were great! I did like the wings! We also got burgers and the cauliflower pizza - all very good. The bar can get loud, and that's good! Plenty of TV's to watch games. Great service.

Went there for the very first time (after joining ELCA in 2018) and it turned out to be their Taco Wednesday night…Tacos are $2 a piece. It was so wonderfully quiet…even the 2 pool tables weren’t being used! However, we were told that Wednesday evening is their slow night so if you prefer a more peaceful ambiance, go there then.
The waitress was wonderful with our adult special needs son. He ordered mozzarella sticks, pretzel nuggets, 4 taco supremes and 3 Diet Cokes, LOVING all of it👍My husband ordered a beer, a cheeseburger with onion rings and their homemade French onion soup. We came in wanting dessert☕🍰but after chowing down those 1/2 pound burgers, there simply was no more room left to even nibble on one! Wish I’d ordered some of their sugary deliciousness to go, though, because I get these midnight cravings for sweets and I’m pretty certain their desserts wouldda hit the spot for me💖

Full satisfaction guaranteed! We were in the area for a short fall vacation and we tried this place... and we came back again in 2 days! The food is just GOOD, all seasoned right, cooked to perfection... and the french fries, mmmmm, so crunchy, way better than any fast food you can imagine :-) And you can eat outside, too (you can see some people doing this in one of my pictures). Last, but not the least - pricing is very reasonable!

Enjoyed this bar/restaurant during a recent trip to Big Bass Lake. Our waiter was so nice and the food was top notch. Everything came out quickly and we were all super happy with our delicious food. If I’m up that way again, I’ll be sure to stop in.

I did take out, they were fast, friendly and had good food. Berger was homemade and beefy served medium rare as I asked, perfect! The cedar salad could have used a little more lettuce but it was perfect otherwise, just ask they’ll probably give you extra

Came out to get a quick dinner and boy was I surprised. Food was great. Highly recommend the pizza and mild wings. The wings had a perfect crisp to them.

I love Hammerjax! Their food is good and reasonably priced! I hope it doesn't change much with the new owners, they have a good thing going when the locals are regular patrons!

Nice place with very good food. Inexpensive . Bill came out to 200 bucks for 8 guys with 2 or 3 drinks apiece.

We decided to try a local place while driving up towards Binghamton, we were ecstatic to happen upon Hammerjax Bar and Grill.

The vibe was quite relaxed and the place was packed with a ratio of about 75 percent locals and 25 percent travelers. The restrooms were very clean and the music was set to an ideal volume.

The dining room was adjacent to a few billiard tables, games, and slot machines. On the opposite side was a large bar. BTW, there was also an outdoor dining area by the free parking.

We were graciously welcomed and allowed to sit where we wanted. Service was friendly, professional, and quick.

We ordered regular wings, boneless wings, waffle fries, Philly cheese steak egg rolls, and cream of crab soup. Each dish was hot and delicious. Google Maps indicated that this place was a 95% match and very much like a pub we enjoy in Rhinebeck, New York. This recommendation was spot on. We look forward to stopping by again when heading northwest.

Usually you’re aiming to target a place with a good crowd or a great bartender. Awesome food can do the trick too. Enter HJ.

Originally went there to explore. It’s nearby and has enough parking to tell ya that they’ve pleased a few crowds before. There’s enough breathing room for a seat at the bar most of the time. Their table service is better than anywhere else I’ve been if you’re not lucky enough to land your stool. ..and I’ve got more places to compare it to than I wish to admit.

I usually enjoy the good fortune of seeing Lisa or Nadine when I’m stopping by. Lisa is the fastest and friendliest bartender around. You’re covered whether it’s good conversation or good drink that you’re lookin for. She’s perfected the organized chaos and the personal touch of being the face of a great place. In spite of the fact that she’s a giants fan…. Easy decision If I needed to trust someone to run shop and represent my place.

Nadine has more style than anyone else you’ll come across and somehow she has more chill too. Perfect blend of what you expect and something unexpected.

Elise is a new addition, but she seems hand in hand with Lisa. They’ve kept a happy crowd and friendly face during my stops whether it’s just a cold one, dinner and drinks, or something to take home.

Have been there when back of the house is finally wrapped up and was as impressed by the people as I was by the great food they’re turning out. Austin is that person you know who excels at anything they do. It’s easy to see who takes pride in their efforts. He does. And he’s leading from the front. It shows. Food is great. Even the way it’s prepped for a ride home.

All around score to have that place nearby because of the team they’ve built to serve up good times, great food, and awesome service. I’d go 6.0 outta 5.0. Check ‘em out. And legit shuffleboard/ pool tables/ darts. Prob can’t do better anywhere close.

Favorite local bar to meet friends and coworkers. Bartenders and waitstaff are friendly and prompt. We ordered boneless wing bites with honey mild parm and hot garlic parm. Both excellent. We also had loaded fries and stuffed mushrooms. Their stuffed mushrooms have seafood in them and are the best I've had in a long time. They have an extensive menu. There is bar seating and table seating as well as outdoor seating. We've had birthdays here as well as other occasions. Ann and Rob (the owners) are the sweetest people too. Love it here!

Great food and service! So good we went back the next day for lunch. We will be going back again.
