Hear me out on this one…I have been a bagel enthusiast my whole life. I eat a bagel almost every single day and have done so for many years. The bagel with cream cheese that I ordered here was hands down the best that I have had in my life. The bagel was somewhat hard/crunchy on outside but also soft on the inside. The dough was just the perfect level of saltiness and the cream cheese at the perfect consistency from the warm bagel. I wish I could buy some bagels from them frozen online or something. I will be stopping again next time I’m passing through to Killington.

What a lovely cozy place! Friendly and welcoming staff nestled right downtown in Rutland. We got the breakfast special (ham, eggs, spinach and swiss on English muffin) and the daily quiche. Delicious coffee and kale berry smoothie too.
Highly recommend stopping in for breakfast or lunch!

Really good food. Attentive service. There are places to sit. It's calm and quiet, but you go here for the breakfast sandwich, baked goods and coffee, not the ambiance. You will not be disappointed.

Great little shop with fresh baked breads and pastries. Excellent coffee too. I got a large coffee, scone and big fat oatmeal raisin cookie for six bucks. Wow.

Great place for breakfast and your caffeine fix on the go! I have been going here for years and it always hits. The staff is friendly and provide excellent service. They are great about remembering regulars' orders. I recommend The Bakery to everyone!

This is a beautiful little spot to grab a quick breakfast or brunch with a good cup of coffee. I absolutely love being able to sit at the window, especially during snow days. They are happy to help and very efficient at getting orders out. I love that they have a little coffee bar to add to your own coffee and their hot chocolate is also amazing. They usually have many bakery items prepared for quick order that have always tasted amazing. They seem usually pretty busy and still serve with a smile. This place is one of my high recommends.

So good! Just moved here and have been trying out all the local coffee shops. This one is the winner. Others are great, too! But the pastries! The staff is so nice, coffee is good. I don't think there's anything not to like.

5 Stars all the way! Hand-made everything so good! Tastes BETTER than home-made! Not sure how you can make an english muffin magical, but it has been done!!! The baker is a magician!!! Keep up the good work.

Always amazing service and food! Great manager too - unlike many around here (like Michael from Denny's). You must try the maple roast coffee with honey - it is the best! I love the pork sandwich too and the smoothies are good too if you like smoothies. Great lighting and ambiance here too!

They make a great cappuccino! And very friendly, warm folks working here as well. I'm bummed it was an extra dollar for almond milk, but I get that it can be expensive to provide milk alternatives when only a few people want them.

I love, love, LOVE The Bakery!! The maple lattes are my absolute favorite here. But from breakfast to lunch you will not be disappointed! Their English muffins are out of this world fantastic! The staff is always super friendly and efficient! Cannot get enough of this place! Worth every penny I spend there.

This place never fails to deliver, Perfect coffee, amazingly tasty baked good,and you are always, always, always, greeted with a hello and smiling faces!!!!! Nuff said!!

I love all the baked goods they always have, as well as the lattes they make. I always leave satisfied with what I've ordered. Salads are pretty amazing too - they're pretty big so you basically get 2-3 servings for what you pay for, which is awesome.

My favorite coffee shop in the whole world. The staff is super awesome and knows my order right when I come in which is amazingly convenient. Their breakfast sandwich and double Carmel latte ice or cold are absolulty to die for. There bakedgood are also very addicting.

Excellent baked goods, I'm especially fond of the cherry wheels, which pair quite will with the chai tea on a cold morning. It's also conveniently located a quarter of a block from the bus station, which makes it a great place for long distance travelers to get a good breakfast and enough coffee to fortify themselves for the rest of their trip, whether they've got time for a sit down meal or would prefer food and drink to go.
